The results of the extensive investigations of the variation of the EPR and NMR spectra of active centers due to the existence of the native defects generated by disorder in the IV-VI semiconductor matrices are presented. Both undoped and doped with Gd impurity powder samples of different grain sizes, made from Pb(1-x)Sn(x)Te crystals with the composition in the range 0 < or = x < or = 0.2 were studied. Impurity Gd ions were used as the paramagnetic EPR probe, whereas the 207 Pb nuclei as the NMR probe. The following aspects have been ascertained. (i) Grinding of the initial single crystals into powders leads to an additional component line appearing in the NMR spectra of the 207 Pb nuclei and also to a significant increase in the intensity of EPR spectra of the impurity Gd ions. (ii) Both the Gd EPR spectra as well as the 207 Pb NMR spectra undergo modifications due to isothermal annealing, whereas the character of these modifications is determined by both the temperature and duration of the thermal treatment applied. (iii) Some characteristic correlation between the variation of the EPR spectra of impurity Gd ions and that of the NMR spectra of 207 Pb nuclei, which results from the annealing of the samples, has been observed. Experimental results are interpreted based on the prevailing models of the behavior of the doped impurities and the native defects in the lead and tin telluride crystals.  相似文献

The radiative decayJ/ψ → γ π+ π? has been studied using the 8.6 millionJ/ψ produced in the DM2 experiment at the DCIe +e? storage rings at Orsay. The π+ π? mass spectrum shows a cleanf 2 (1270) signal, and the possible presence of two other states at thef 2 (1720) andf 4 (2030) masses. For thef 2 (1270), the branching ratio BR(J/ψ →γf)xBR(f→π+ π?) is measured to be (7.50±0.30±1.12)×10?4, and the spin analysis prefers theJ=2 assignment, with helicity parametersx=0.83±0.06 andy=0.01±0.06. The existence of higher mass states is discussed.  相似文献

Thee + e ?K + K ? cross section has been measured from about 750 events in the energy interval \(1350 \leqq \sqrt s \leqq 2400 MeV\) with the DM2 detector at DCI. TheK ± form factor |F F ±| cannot be explained by the ρ, ω, ? and ρ′(1600). An additional resonant amplitude at 1650 MeV has to be added as suggested by a previous experiment.  相似文献

The steady propagation of a thin smouldering front in a half-spacehas been considered. A suitable coordinate transformation hasallowed the region near the leading edge of the front to beexamined for both a maintained planar surface and with surfacecollapse due to material shrinkage. The change in the oxidizerconcentration for a small increment in the propagation speedfor large time and surface collapse has been determined. Theinfluence of two types of nonlinear diffusion on the shape ofthe smouldering front has been found; other cases can be dealtwith in a similar manner.  相似文献

利用完全对角化方法和强场耦合方案,采用半自洽场(semi-SCF)自由Ni2+的d轨道模型和Ni2+-6X-(x=F,Cl,Br,I)络合物的μ-κ-α模型研究,建立了含有过渡族金属离子的晶体的局域结构与吸收光谱和顺磁g因子之间的定量关系,对KMgF3:Ni2+晶体的占位、局域结构、吸收光谱和顺磁g因子作出了统一解释,预测了KMgF3:Ni2+晶体的光谱精细结构.所得理论计算结果与实验值符合得很好.  相似文献

The magnetic field dependence of magnetization M(B) at the temperature 1.72 K in magnetic fields up to 5 T and the temperature dependence of magnetic susceptibility (MS) χ(T) in the temperature range 1.7–400 K of six PbTe:Eu samples with the concentration of Eu impurity of the order of 1×1019–1×1020 cm?3, prepared from the doped crystals grown from the melt by the Bridgman method, have been investigated. It is shown that the dependence of M(B) and χ(T) can be quantitatively explained by the contribution of the single centers of Eu ions, their pairs, and the matrix of the doped crystals using the same set of parameters for each sample. This is true provided we use in our analysis the values of the exchange integrals between Eu ions in EuO normalized with the lattice constant of PbTe, i.e., J1/kB=0.056 K for the ferromagnetic interaction of the NN (nearest neighbor) pairs and J2/kB=?0.13 K for the antiferromagnetic interaction of the NNN (next nearest neighbor) pairs, as well as different values of the MS of crystal χmatrix. It is revealed that the probability of the formation of complexes based on the magnetic impurity pairs is higher in the incipient section of a doped ingot, and it decreases towards the ingot end where the single centers of Eu ions become the only centers of the impurity. We conclude that the pairs of Eu2+ ions, which are formed during the growth of the PbTe:Eu ingots from melt by the Bridgman method, are the constituents of the complexes of the magnetic impurities with the background Oxygen impurities in the crystal matrix of the doped lead telluride. It is shown that the formation of the complexes leads to an increase of the MS of crystal matrix χmatrix and can even cause the change of its sign from minus to plus, i.e., it can convert the crystal matrix from the diamagnetic to paramagnetic state. The possible causes of this effect are analyzed.  相似文献

An electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) experimental study of crystalline and powder p-Pb1?x?y Sn y Gd y Te samples for various matrix compositionx and Gd contenty has been carried out. The study reveals that grinding the crystals into powder as well as their low-temperature annealing turns Gd impurity ions from the EPR-silent Gd2+ state to the EPR-active Gd3+ state, whereas high-temperature annealing in vacuum quenches EPR signals from Gd3+ ions. The experimental results are interpreted in terms of a model assuming that the trivalent charge state of the Gd impurity ions in lead and tin tellurides is a component part of the “substituting Gd impurity-Te vacancy” complex.  相似文献

Search for baryon pairs production ine + e ? annihilation at \(\sqrt s = 2386 MeV\) is reported. The data relate to a luminosity of 161 nb?1 collected by the DM2 experiment at DCI, the Orsay colliding ring. First measurements of directe + e ? annihilation into \(\Lambda \bar \Lambda \) and ofe + e ? \(p\bar p\) at this energy are presented. First observation of a goode + e ? \(n\bar n\) candidate is reported and upper limits are given fore + e ? \(n\bar n, \Lambda \bar \sum ^0 + c.c.\) and \(\Sigma ^0 \bar \Sigma ^0 \) .  相似文献
