Many late transition binary alloy nanoparticles (NPs) have been fabricated through a wide variety of techniques. Various steps are involved in the fabrication of such NPs. Here, we used a simple and green route to fabricate solid-solution Rh–Pd and Rh–Pt bimetallic alloy NPs through femtosecond laser irradiation in a solution without any chemicals like reducing agents. X-ray diffraction (XRD) peaks of NPs obtained in the solutions with different ratios of Rh–Pd and Rh–Pt ions monotonically varied from the position of pure Rh to those of Pd and to Pt which respectively indicated that these NPs were alloy. Composition of fabricated NPs was fully tuned over the entire range of Rh1?x –Pd x , and Rh1?x –Pt x with varying the mixing ratio of metal ions in the solution. Studies of Rh–Pd and Rh–Pt solid-solution system suggest that the alloy formation occurs through the nucleation of Rh and then followed by the diffusion of Rh, Pd and Rh, Pt to form a homogeneous alloy. The variety of average size of the alloy NPs for different compositions could be attributed to different reduction rate and surface energies of metal ions. Our result implies that femtosecond laser irradiation in aqueous solution is one of the potential methodologies to form multimetallic solid-solution alloy NPs with fully tunable composition.  相似文献

A series of Cu-doped Cd0.1Zn0.9S solid solution with various amounts of Cu dopant was successfully prepared by hydrothermal method. The properties and the photocatalytic activity of the prepared samples for hydrogen production under visible light irradiation were compared to those prepared by co-precipitation method. The Cu-doped Cd0.1Zn0.9S samples prepared by hydrothermal method showed both improved crystallinity and photoabsorption ability as compared to the undoped sample. On the other hand, even though Cu-doped Cd0.1Zn0.9S prepared by co-precipitation method also showed improved photoabsorption ability in the visible light region, the samples showed poor crystallinity compared to the undoped one. With the same amount of Cu dopant, all samples prepared by hydrothermal method were found to exhibit higher photocatalytic activity for hydrogen production than the samples prepared by co-precipitation method. It was revealed that the amount of Cu dopant, crystallinity and narrow band gap energy are important factors to obtain highly active and stable photocatalysts.  相似文献

Based on data from The Global Burden of Disease Study in 2016, dental and oral health problems, especially dental caries, are a disease experienced by almost half of the world’s population (3.58 billion people). One of the main causes of dental caries is the pathogenesis of Streptococcus mutans. Prevention can be achieved by controlling S. mutans using an antibacterial agent. The most commonly used antibacterial for the treatment of dental caries is chlorhexidine. However, long-term use of chlorhexidine has been reported to cause resistance and some side effects. Therefore, the discovery of a natural antibacterial agent is an urgent need. A natural antibacterial agent that can be used are herbal medicines derived from medicinal plants. Piper crocatum Ruiz and Pav has the potential to be used as a natural antibacterial agent for treating dental and oral health problems. Several studies reported that the leaves of P. crocatum Ruiz and Pav contain secondary metabolites such as essential oils, flavonoids, alkaloids, terpenoids, tannins, and phenolic compounds that are active against S. mutans. This review summarizes some information about P. crocatum Ruiz and Pav, various isolation methods, bioactivity, S. mutans bacteria that cause dental caries, biofilm formation mechanism, antibacterial properties, and the antibacterial mechanism of secondary metabolites in P. crocatum Ruiz and Pav.  相似文献

Our purpose was to study the occurrence of vocal fold nodules under conditions of habitual vocal abuse associated with increased laryngeal muscle tension, to identify the existence of a relationship between vocal nodules and laryngeal morphology. We studied one group of 30 subjects with vocal nodules, 18 to 50 years old, who were compared with two control groups, one of females and one of males, consisting of 30 subjects each. The parameters evaluated were: type of vocal folds coaptation, glottic proportion (GP) and abduction angle (AA), obtained by videotelelaryngoscopy. In the nodules group, the larynges presented a mean value of GP similar to that of the female group, both of which were lower than the mean GP value of the male group. On the other hand, the mean AA was lower than the one in the female group, and closer to the one in the male group. We concluded that vocal nodules were present only in larynges with a predominantly young female morphology, with functional limitations of abduction.  相似文献

Infrared spectra of esters in water-alcohol mixtures, with or without added salts, indicate the formation of 1:1 or 1:2 complexes through hydrogen bonding between the ester carbonyl group and the proton donor molecules of the solvent, as well as the formation of a donor-acceptor complexes with Li+ or Ba2+. These complexes facilitate nucleophilic attack at the carbon of the carbonyl group by hydroxyl anions. Depending on the water content of the mixture, the addition of LiCIO4 increases or decreases the rate constant of the reaction. The displacement of equilibria between different entities explains a higher rate constant in water-tert-butanol than in water-methanol mixtures of the alkaline hydrolysis of ethyl acetate.  相似文献

The low level laser therapy (LLLT) has been used as an option to accelerate the regeneration of bone tissue. In this study, both femurs of male Wistar rats (30 animals) were injured with a drill and the effect of LLLT using a laser diode (100 mW at 660 nm) in the bone matrix on the left paw measured. LLLT effect on the healing bone tissue matrix was evaluated by a combination of immunohistochemical histomorphometry, confocal immunofluorescence microscopy and isolation and characterization of glycosaminoglycans. Histomorphometric analysis showed that LLLT increased bone matrix and showing more organized. Alcian Blue and PAS staining seems to suggest differential glycosaminoglycans and glycoproteins. The data showed increased expression of chondroitin sulfate and hyaluronic acid, after reduction as the LLLT and mature bone, resembling the expression of osteonectin and biglycan. The difference in expression of siblings (DMP‐1, OPN and BSP) is in accordance with the repair accelerated bone formation after the application of LLLT as compared with control. The expression of osteonectin and osteocalcin supports their role in bone mineralization protein, indicating that LLLT accelerates this process. The overall data show that LLLT bone changes dynamic array, shortening the time period involved in the bone repair.  相似文献

A urea precursor was used for the first time to prepare mesoporous carbon nitride (MCN) by a thermal polymerization process with silica nanospheres as a hard template. Although the prepared MCN samples have similar structures and optical properties, it was revealed that the specific surface area, pore‐size distribution, and morphology of the MCN samples depend on the initial mass ratio of urea to silica. Compared to the bulk carbon nitride (BCN) that only gave 20 % phenol removal (6 h of irradiation), the activities can be enhanced up to 74 % on MCN samples for photocatalytic removal of phenol under visible‐light irradiation. The highest conversion was obtained on MCN with an initial mass ratio of urea to silica of 5, which has high surface area of 191 m2 g?1 and a nanoporous structure with uniform pore‐size distribution of 7 nm. In addition to the high activity, the MCN sample also showed high photocatalytic stability.  相似文献
