A sensitive method for simultaneous determination of six phenolic whitening agents,including arbutin, phenol,resorcinol,hydroquinone,kojic acid,and salicylic acid in cosmetics has been developed using micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography with amperometric detection(MECC-AD).Effects of several factors,such as the pH value and concentration of running buffer,potential applied to the working electrode,separation voltage,and injection time were investigated to obtain optimum conditions for separation and detection.With a 75 cm long fused-silica capillary tube,well-defined separation of six phenolic compounds was achieved in 10mmol/L SDS/40 mmol/L H3BO3-Na2B4O7 running buffer(pH 9.0).Good linear relationship was obtained for each analyte over three orders of magnitude with correlation coefficients(r2) between 0.9985 and 0.9994,and the detection limit(S/N=3) ranged from 0.04μg/mL to 0.45μg/mL The proposed method has been successfully applied for the determination of phenolic whitening agents in real cosmetic samples with satisfactory results,providing an alternative monitoring method for cosmetics safety regulation. 相似文献
A suitable method that allows, for the first time, the simultaneous determination of nine antibiotics which may help the therapy of acne vulgaris by rapid liquid chromatography with diode array detection in 7 min is presented in this work. An SB RP18 (50 × 4.6 mm; 1.8 μm particle size) column was used with the mobile phase consisting of a mixture of 0.1 mol L−1 potassium dihydrogen phosphate (pH 2.5) and acetonitrile at the gradient elution program. The correlation coefficients were all above 0.9999 in the linear range between 4–100 μg mL−1, the average spiked recoveries (n = 6) were 92.2–103.2% with RSD ranging from 0.04 to 4.5% depending on the target analytes. The method detection limits were in the range of 0.02–0.2 μg mL−1 in anti-acne cosmetics. The analysis of real cosmetic preparations demonstrated the fitness for the whole analytical procedure. The proposed method appeared therefore as a sound alternative for official testing method, which could overcome the general problems of time consuming, lack of the specificity and precision difficulty.
A 2-diazenyl substituted 1,3,4-thiadiazole formed complexes with a series of p -alkoxybenzoic acid by intermolecular hydrogen bonding. The complexes were investigated by polarizing optical microscopy and differential scanning calorimetry to understand the resulting mesogenic behaviours. A study of the complex by powder XRD and molecular modelling was further undertaken to locate the position of hydrogen bonding. 相似文献
The trigonometric and Hermite-Gaussian basis functions for determining the modal characteristics of inhomogeneous optical waveguides by means of the Galerkin's method are presented and analyzed. The results obtained with each set of basis functions for mode spectra and field distributions are compared with other exact and approximate methods. Two facile coating techniques, gravitational sediment and spin coating, were applied for the creation of silica sphere stacking layers with different textures onto glass substrates that display various sliding abilities toward liquid drops with different surface tensions, ranged from 25.6 to 72.3 mN/m. The resulting silica surface exhibits oil repellency, long-period durability > 30 days, and oil sliding capability. The two-tier texture offers a better roll-off ability toward liquid drops with a wide range of γL, ranged from 30.2 to 72.3 mN/m, i.e., when the sliding angle (SA) < 15°, the oil droplet start to roll off the surface. This improvement of sliding ability can be ascribed to the fact that the two-tier texture allows for air pockets (i.e., referred to as the Cassie state), thus favoring the self-cleaning ability. Taking Young-Duprè equation into account, a linearity relationship between sine SA and work of adhesion (Wad) appears to describe the sliding behavior within the Wad region: 2.20-3.03 mN/m. The smaller Wad, the easier drop sliding (i.e., the smaller SA value) takes place on the surfaces. The Wad value ∼3.03 mN/m shows a critical kinetic barrier for drop sliding on the silica surfaces from stationary to movement states. This work proposes a mathematical model to simulate the sliding behavior of oil drops on a nanosphere stacking layer, confirming the anti-oil contamination capability. 相似文献
A convenient metal-free decarbonylative radical conjugate addition of aliphatic aldehydes to electron-deficient alkenes is developed. With DTBP as an oxidant and radical-initiator, this reaction smoothly converts α-unsubstituted, α-mono-substituted and α-di-substituted aliphatic aldehydes into the corresponding primary, secondary and tertiary alkyl radicals, and subsequently allows for the cascade construction of C(sp3)C(sp3) bond via radical conjugate addition. 相似文献
