Reaction of dichloro‐ and dibromodimethyltin(IV) with 2‐(pyrazol‐1‐ylmethyl)pyridine (PMP) afforded [SnMe2Cl2(PMP)] and [SnMe2Br2(PMP)] respectively. The new complexes were characterized by elemental analysis and mass spectrometry and by IR, Raman and NMR (1H, 13C) spectroscopies. Structural studies by X‐ray diffraction techniques show that the compounds consist of discrete units with the tin atom octahedrally coordinated to the carbon atoms of the two methyl groups in a trans disposition (Sn? C = 2.097(5), 2.120(5) Å and 2.110(6), 2.121(6) Å in the chloro and in the bromo compounds respectively), two cis halogen atoms (Sn? Cl = 2.4908(16), 2.5447(17) Å; Sn? Br = 2.6875(11), 2.7464(9) Å) and the two donor atoms of the ligand (Sn? N = 2.407(4), 2.471(4) Å and 2.360(5), 2.455(5) Å). In both cases, the Sn? The properties of tetrathiafulvalene dimers ([TTF](2)(2+)) and the functionalized ring-shaped bispropargyl (BPP)-functionalized TTF dimers, [BPP-TTF](2)(2+), found at room temperature in charged [3]catenanes, were evaluated by M06L calculations. The results showed that their isolated [TTF](2)(2+) and [BPP-TTF](2)(2+) dimers are energetically unstable towards dissociation. When enclosed in the 4(+)-charged central cyclophane ring of charged [3]catenanes (CBPQT(4+)), [TTF](2)(2+) and [BPP-TTF](2)(2+) dimers are also energetically unstable with respect to leaving the CBPQT(4+) ring; since the barrier for the exiting process is only about 3 kcal mol(-1), that is, within the reach of thermal energies at room temperature (neutral [TTF](2)(0) dimers are stable within the CBPQT(4+) ring). However, the [BPP-TTF](2)(2+) dimers in charged [3]catenanes cannot exit, because this would imply breaking the covalent bonds of the BPP-TTF(+) macrocycle. Finally, it was shown that the [TTF](2)(2+), [BPP-TTF](2)(2+) dimers, and charged [3]catenanes are energetically stable in solution and in crystals of their salts, in the first case due to the interactions with the solvent, and in the second case mostly due to cation-anion interactions. In these environmental conditions at room temperature the TTF units of the [BPP-TTF](2)(2+) dimers make short contacts, thus allowing their SOMO orbitals to overlap: a room-temperature multicenter long bond is formed, similar to those previously found in other [TTF](2)(2+) salts and their solutions.  相似文献

Center of attention: A new approach for the synthesis of enantiomerically enriched allenes by isomerization of 2-p-tolylsulfinylphenyl propargylic derivatives is presented, which in turn are prepared by reaction of sulfinylated lithium benzylcarbanions with arylsulfonylacetylenes. On-vial immobilized CdSe quantum dots (QDs) are applied for the first time as chemiluminescent probes for the detection of trace metal ions. Among 17 metal ions tested, inhibition of the chemiluminescence when CdSe QDs are oxidized by H2O2 was observed for Sb, Se and Cu. Liquid–liquid–liquid microextraction was implemented in order to improve the selectivity and sensitivity of the chemiluminescent assay.  相似文献

Using a multireferent MBPT method (CIPSI) the electronic affinity (EA) of F, CN and HCC is computed. Results show how UMP2 gives unbalanced truncation of the MP series, while ROMP2 has the correct (balanced) behaviour. The good agreement with the experimental EA found for some compounds is accidental and associated to an error compensation. We describe herein, the creation of an organic phase enzyme electrode (OPEE) via avidin–biotin interactions built over an electrogenerated polymer. Multilayered polyphenol oxidase (PPO) assemblies were transferred into an organic solvent (chloroform) for the catechol detection at −0.2 V. In conjunction with an alginate gel, as a hydrophilic additive, the biosensor performance was widely enhanced. The effects of biotinylated polypyrrole film and alginate gel on the diffusion process through the biosensor coating are studied by rotating disk electrode experiments carried out in chloroform with hydroquinone as electroactive permeant.  相似文献
