In a study of the interaction between gas and condensed phases in various catalytic reactions, charge redistribution between the catalyst surface and the near-surface gas atmosphere was experimentally revealed. It was found that the catalyst surface becomes charged and a unipolar low-energy plasma appears in the gas phase near the surface. The existence of this plasma can account for a number of anomalous effects observed in catalytic reactions. An assumption was made that a catalytically active surface in many cases is the one that, being charged under reaction conditions, can exchange charges with the reaction gas phase. This circumstance opens a possibility for controlling a catalytic reaction by varying the charge of the catalyst surface. 相似文献

The chemical, electrophysical, magnetic, tribological, and physicomechanical properties of multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs),
as well as the characteristics of new nanocomposites and instruments thereof were discussed. These MWCNTs are produced by
unique technology and are free from impurities of other carbon modifications. Advantages of multiwall over single-wall carbon
nanotubes were demonstrated for applications in electronic devices and preparation of nanocomposites (as filling agents). 相似文献
