The influence of the concentration of potassium and barium chlorides on the aggregation stability of a hydrosol of monodisperse negatively charged detonation nanodiamond with particle sizes of 4?5 nm obtained by annealing of its agglomerates in air has been studied by turbidimetry. The experimental results have been discussed within the classical and generalized Derjaguin?Landau?Verwey?Overbeek theories. The analysis of the pair interaction potentials calculated for ultradispersed particles of detonation nanodiamond has led to the conclusion that the coagulation occurs by the barrier mechanism in the primary potential minimum. It has been assumed that the structural component of the interparticle interaction energy contributes to the total balance of the surface forces.  相似文献

Compression isotherms and chemical compositions of stearic acid (HSt) monolayers applied onto an aqueous subphase containing cadmium ions have been studied in a wide pH range. The data obtained have been used to calculate the dependences of surface elasticity E2.5, change ΔA2.5 in the surface area per molecule at a constant two-dimensional pressure in the monolayer of 2.5 mN/m, and change Δ|ζ| in the absolute value of the ζ potential of particles formed from the material of a monolayer collapsed on the surfaces of aqueous solutions with the same compositions on the pH of the subphase. The obtained data are in good agreement with each other and unambiguously attest to the dependences of the surface (E2.5, ΔA2.5) and electrosurface (Δ|ζ|) characteristics of the monolayers on their chemical composition. This leads us to make the reasonable suggestion that two alternative reactions may occur between cadmium ions and the HSt monolayer with the formation of two salts, CdSt2 and Cd(OH)St.  相似文献

Adsorption of bis(2-chloro-3-oxaperfluorobutyl) disulfide from nonaqueous solutions onto the surface of carbonyl iron particles was studied with the aim of modification of these particles. The adsorption parameters were calculated using the Langmuir equation from the adsorption isotherms obtained in the interval 20-60°C. With an increase in temperature and in the solvent affinity for the modifying agent, the limiting amounts of the reagent that has interacted with the iron particle surface increase. This fact suggests the chemisorption nature of the process. The products of the reaction of iron with the disulfide can be desorbed from the particle surface.  相似文献

Macroscopic fractal aggregates of cobalt are obtained by thermal evaporation of cobalt metal in an argon atmosphere and subsequent deposition on a silicon substrate heated to 1000 K. Ranges of neodymium reduction potentials in aqueous solutions of potassium chloride at pH = 2 and in solutions containing glycine were determined by differential pulse polarography. The glycine complex with neodymium is not formed in the range of the amino acid concentration 0.001–0.12 M. Glycine adsorption on a mercury electrode and on an electrode modified with neodymium was studied by the cyclic voltammetry method.  相似文献

Terbium-and (Ce, Tb)-containing glasses prepared using the direct sol-gel-glass transition are studied. It is shown that glasses doped with one activator contain two main types of optical centers, namely, isolated and complex centers, which are characterized by weak and strong cross-relaxation quenching of luminescence from the 5D3 state of Tb3+ ions, respectively. The Ce4+-Tb3+ (Tb4+) complex centers are formed during sintering of coactivated xerogels in oxygen and can be transformed into Ce3+-Tb3+ centers through saturation of the samples with hydrogen. The Ce3+-Tb3+ centers exhibit efficient luminescence from the 5D4 state upon excitation into the absorption bands of Ce3+ ions.  相似文献
