Atomic-force nanolithography was used to control the nucleation sites of InAs nanostructures on InP substrates. Indentations with a wide range of dimensions were produced on InP. InAs nanostructures were selectively grown by metal organic vapor phase epitaxy. It is shown that the number of active nucleation sites depends on the normal force applied during nanoindentation. Crystalline defects introduced by nanoindentation are shown to be nucleation sites for these nanostructures. The presence of screw dislocations within the grown nanostructures further supports this observation. PACS 81.07.-b; 68.37.Ps; 81.16.Nd  相似文献

A procedure for the measurement of the isotopic composition of Fe in rradiated Na2/FeNO/CN/5/.2H2O samples by SSMS is described. Decomposition with K2S2O7, followed by extraction of Fe was necessary to eliminate interferences in the mass spectra. A study of the remaining interferences showed that they were of organic origin from the residual MIBK used for the extraction. The order of magnitude of the55Fe/58Fe and59Fe/58Fe ratios was calculated.SSMS: spark source mass spectrometry.  相似文献

1H and 13C nmr spectra of several N‐ and C‐substituted carbazoles (Series 1, 2, 3 and 4) were measured. Correlations between chemical shifts and substituent constants show that these parameters describe properly the substituent effect on the nmr phenomena. Atomic charge densities for carbazoles of Series 1, 2, 3 and 4 were calculated by using the semi empirical PM3 method. These values also show a linear correlation with the 13C chemical shifts. The synthesis of several carbazole derivatives 1a – 1g, 2a – 2g, 3a – 3j and 4a – 4g have been carried out according to literature procedures. The carbazoles 3i, 3j and 4c have been synthesized and fully characterized for the first time.  相似文献

The complexes RhH(CO)L3, where L = PPh3, P(m-C6H4SO3Na)3 (TPPTS), and (C6H5)2P(m-C6H4SO3Na) (TPPMS) were used as catalyst precursors for a comparative study of the catalytic hydroformylation of several C6 alkenes and alkene mixtures under moderate reaction conditions in homogeneous (PPh3) and aqueous-biphasic (TPPTS, TPPMS) media. The biphasic systems are efficient for the hydroformylation of hex-1-ene, 2,3-dimethyl-1-butene, styrene, cyclohexene, and mixtures thereof, in water/n-heptane at 80 °C. The main problem associated with these catalysts is their tendency to promote alkene isomerization if the effective syngas concentration in the liquid phases is low, but this side-reaction can be suppressed by using higher CO/H2 pressures (54 atm). The selectivity of both water-soluble catalysts for linear products of hex-1-ene and for branched products of styrene is modest in comparison with the homogeneous system, which may limit their utility for classical oxo uses, but this is not a disadvantage for other interesting applications related to the hydroformylation of alkene mixtures and particularly to naphtha upgrading where linear and branched products are equally useful. The catalysts can be recycled without significant loss of activity and are resistant to the presence of benzothiophene in the mixture.  相似文献

CO2 reduction processes continue to be developed for electrosynthesis, energy storage applications, and environmental remediation. A number of promising materials have shown high activity and selectivity to target reduction products. However, the progress has been mainly at a small laboratory scale, and the technical challenges of large scale CO2 reduction have not been considered adequately. This review covers recent advancements in catalyst materials and cell designs. The leading materials for CO2 reduction to a number of useful products are presented with their corresponding cell and reactor designs. The latest efforts to progress to industrially relevant scales are discussed, along with the challenges that must be met for carbon dioxide reduction to be a viable route for mass scale production.  相似文献

A study was undertaken to evaluate the distribution of Al, As, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb, Ti, V and Zn in fly ashes collected in the electrostatic precipitator of a thermal power plant in San Nicolás (Argentina). Five samples were collected during one week of operation. For the fractionation, the scheme applied consisted in extracting the elements in four fractions namely (i) soluble and exchangeable elements; (ii) carbonates, oxides and reducible elements; (iii) bound to sulfidic metals; and (iv) residual elements. Metals and metalloids at μg g− 1 level were determined in each fraction by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP OES). For validation, a standard reference material (SRM 1633 coal fly ash) from NIST was subjected to the same chemical sequential extraction procedure that the samples. X-ray diffraction powder (XRD) analysis and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were used to characterize the major minerals present in the matrix. Total analyte concentration (in μg g− 1) varied from 10.6 for Pb to 17,622 for Al. Minimum and maximum concentrations (in μg g− 1) found in individual samples in the four fractions were: Al, 92.7–9668; As, < 0.3–143; Cr, 2.0–10.4; Cu, < 0.2–35.6; Fe, < 0.3–4992; Mn, < 0.1–128; Ni, < 0.3–139; Pb, < 0.5–9.1; Ti, < 0.3–2243; V, 17.0–112.9; and Zn, < 0.1–68.2. The leachability of the 11 elements under study proved to be different. Low percentages of Al (1%), V (7%) and Cr (8%) were detected in the most bioavailable fraction. Arsenic was found to be most abundant in the non-silicate phase, represented by the second and third fractions, while Cr, Fe, Ni, Pb and Zn were mostly associated to the residual fraction.  相似文献

This work is an attempt to give a complete survey of all known results about pseudo (v, k, )-designs. In doing this, the author hopes to bring more attention to his conjecture given in Section 6; an affirmative answer to this conjecture would settle completely the existence and construction problem for a pseudo (v, k, )-design in terms of the existence of an appropriate (v, k, )-design.  相似文献

Separation techniques coupled to inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) is reviewed. ICP-MS technique is described briefly. Coupling of the different separation techniques are described, together with the most common applications used for each technique that has been described in the literature.
