This paper presents a novel and efficient protocol for the synthesis of pyrrolidinones using catalytic loading of 1,1'-butylenebis(3-sulfo-3H-imidazol-1-ium) hydrogen sulfate as a recyclable Brönsted acid ionic liquid through ball milling process at room temperature under solvent-free conditions. The developed method provides good to excellent yields of various pyrrolidinones in environmentally friendly conditions. Furthermore, this efficient protocol displays a combination of the synthetic advantage of one-pot multicomponent reaction with ecological benefits and convenience of a mechanochemical procedure.  相似文献

An ultrasound‐assisted aldol condensation reaction has been developed for a range of ketones with a variety of aromatic aldehydes using poly(N‐vinylimidazole) as a solid base catalyst in a liquid‐solid system. The catalyst can be recovered by simple filtration and reused at least 10 times without any significant reduction in its activity. The reaction is also amenable to the large scale, making the procedure potentially useful for industrial applications.  相似文献

A new catalytic application of 4,4′-trimethylenedipiperidine for the efficient synthesis of 4,4′-(arylmethylene)bis(3-methyl-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-5-ol)s is developed. According to the principles of green chemistry, the reaction was performed by conventional and non-conventional processes: (a) in the refluxing ethanol using a catalytic amount of organocatalyst; (b) at room temperature in the presence of organocatalyst in a planetary ball mill under solvent-free conditions. The organocatalyst could be reused up to 10 runs, and a negligible reduction of catalytic activity was detected. A variety of substituted 4,4′-(arylmethylene)bis(3-methyl-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-5-ol)s were obtained in good–to-excellent yields under eco-friendly conditions. 4,4′-Trimethylenedipiperidine is commercially available and easy to handle and storage, less toxic, non-flammable, as well as it shows high thermal stability and good solubility in water. The current methodology has merits including (a) wide substrate-scope and high yields of the desired products in the short reaction times, (b) avoiding the use of hazardous solvents and acidic and metal-containing catalysts, (c) minimize the generation of hazardous waste, and (d) simple workup process. Based on great potential as a promising organocatalyst, we hope it can be used as a greener alternative to piperidine for other organic transformations.  相似文献

Abstract

The viscosity of neat ionic liquids is very important for their application in organic synthesis as a solvent because most of the neat ionic liquids are very viscous, which would result in the less efficient mass transfer of reactants. In the present study, a series of novel dihydro-[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidines were prepared using a low viscous and acid-functionalized ionic liquid. Our results showed that new ionic liquid can act as a green solvent and acid catalyst due to low viscosity and acid functionality. The products were simply extracted and the ionic liquid was retrieved several times without reducing its catalytic efficiency. The current application of TMDPS in the one-pot multicomponent reactions as dual solvent-catalyst highlights the importance of low viscous acid-functionalized ionic liquids in organic synthesis, and we hope that further research will be conducted in the future to finding other applications of TMDPS with promising results.  相似文献

Abstract

4-Imidazol-1-yl-butane-1-sulfonic acid (ImBu-SO3H) has been successfully synthetized and fully characterized by FT-IR and high-resolution NMR spectroscopy (1H, 13C). The “plausible” alternative structures of ImBu-SO3H were discussed on the basis of its NMR data. The ionic liquid showed interesting dual solvent-catalyst property, which was studied experimentally for the acetylation of a variety of functionalized alcohols, phenols, thiols, amines and α-tocopherol (α-CTP) as the most active form of vitamin E with acetic anhydride and which provided good yields within a short reaction time. ImBu-SO3H was successfully recycled by product extraction with an average recovered yield of 82% for 5 subsequent runs. The catalytic activity of the recycled ImBu-SO3H showed almost no loss even after five consecutive runs.  相似文献
