Catalytic Method for Synthesis of Aspirin by a Green,Efficient and Recyclable Solid Acid Catalyst (Preyssler's Anion) at Room Temperature

Synthesis of aspirin at room temperature via O‐acetylation of salicylic acid in the presence of Preyssler type heteropolyacids has been investigated in order to contribute toward clean technology, which is the most important need of the society. All of the catalysts are recyclable and reusable.     

Acid induced reactions of a sydnone ketoxime

3-(2-Acetylphenyl)sydnone oxime 1a reacts with acids (methanesulfonic-, p-toluenesulfonic, trifluoroacetic-acid or Amberlite IR 118) to give products apparently derived from protonation of the oxime oxygen or nitrogen atom followed by cyclization to the sydnone ring or interception by water.     

Use of nanoporous Na+-montmorillonite sulfonic acid (SANM) as an eco-benign, efficient and reusable solid acid catalyst for the one-pot synthesis of 14-aryl-14-H-dibenzo[a,j]xanthenes and 1,8-dioxo-dodecahydroxanthene derivatives

Nanoporous Na⁺-montmorillonite sulfonic acid was found to be an efficient and green catalyst for the synthesis of various 14-aryl-14H-dibenzo[a,j]xanthenes and 1,8-dioxo-dodecahydroxanthene derivatives by the reaction of aldehydes with 2-naphthol and 1,3-cyclohexanedione, respectively. This novel synthetic method has the advantages of high yields, short reaction times and recyclability of the catalyst, simplicity and easy workup compared to the conventional methods reported in the literature.     

Different PES nanofibrous membrane parameters effect on the efficacy of immunoassay performance

The contribution of electrospun nanofibrous membranes (e.NFMs) in the biosensing platforms opens up a new prospect for the invention of faster and more sensitive analytical devices. In this paper, we utilized e.NFM of polyethersulfone (PES) as a solid substrate for the protein immobilization through two different approaches: physical and covalent. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Fourier‐transform‐infrared (FTIR) tests were performed to study the effect of plasma treatment on protein immobilization efficacy. Moreover, taking advantage of ELISA technique, the influence of different parameters, namely, nanofibers diameter, membrane thickness, plasma treatment time, an incubation time of ethyl‐3‐(3‐dimethylaminopropyl)‐carbodiimide/N‐hydroxysuccinimide (EDC/NHS), and their ratio on antibody immobilization efficacy through two mentioned approaches, was also assessed.     

A modified Gaussian moment closure method for nonlinear stochastic differential equations

Parametric excitation of a nonlinear physical pendulum by modulation of its moment of inertia is analyzed in terms of physics as an example of the suggested approach. The modulation is provided by a redistribution of auxiliary masses. The system is investigated both analytically and with the help of computer simulations. The threshold and other characteristics of parametric resonance are found and discussed in detail. The role of nonlinear properties of the physical system in restricting the resonant swinging is emphasized. Phase locking between the drive and oscillations of the pendulum and the phenomenon of parametric autoresonance are investigated. The boundaries of parametric instability are determined as functions of the modulation depth and the quality factor. The feedback providing active optimal control of amplification and attenuation of oscillations is analyzed. An effective method of suppressing undesirable rotary oscillations of suspended constructions is suggested.     

AN EASY CONVERSION OF THE BAYLIS-HILLMAN ADDUCTS INTO tert-BUTYLDIMETHYLSILYL ETHERS WITH tert-BUTYLDIMETHYLSILYL CHLORIDE AND Li2S

The hydroxy group of the Baylis-Hillman adducts is protected with the t-butyldimethylsilyl (TBDMS) group using the reaction of adducts 1a–h with tert-butyldimethylsilyl chloride (TBDMSCl) in the presence of lithium sulfide under nearly acidic reaction conditions.     

Facile and Efficient Method for the Synthesis of 14-Substituted-14-H-dibenzo[a,j]xanthenes Catalyzed by Ruthenium Chloride Hydrate as a Homogeneous Catalyst

Synthesis of dibenzoxanthenes through condensation of β-naphthol with various aromatic and aliphatic aldehydes in ethanol as an ecofriendly solvent using Ru^III as catalyst is reported.

A convenient synthesis of 1,5-diarylpyrazoles from Baylis-Hillman adducts using HY-zeolite

<正>A facile and convenient protocol was developed for the synthesis of 1,5-diarylpyrazoles using Baylis-Hillman adducts in the presence of HY-zeolite as an efficient recyclable heterogeneous catalyst in reasonable reaction times(1.5-2.5 h) and high yields (78-90%).     

(Liquid + liquid) equilibrium for ternary mixtures of {heptane + aromatic compounds + [EMpy][ESO4]} at T = 298.15 K

(Liquid + liquid) equilibrium (LLE) data for the ternary systems (heptane + toluene + 1-ethyl-3-methylpyridinium ethylsulfate) and (heptane  + benzene + 1-ethyl-3-methylpyridinium ethylsulfate) were measured at T = 298.15 K and atmospheric pressure. The selectivity and aromatic distribution coefficients, calculated from the equilibrium data, were used to determine if this ionic liquid can be used as a potential extracting solvent for the separation of aromatic compounds from heptane. The consistency of tie-line data was ascertained by applying the Othmer–Tobias and Hand equations.
