An analytical procedure has been developed for the separation of Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II), Fe(II), Pd(II), Th(IV), V(IV), and determination of Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II), and V(IV) by MEKC after chelation with bis(salicylaldehyde)tetramethylethylenediimine (H2SA2Ten). Uncoated fused silica capillary was used with an applied voltage of 30 kV with photo‐diode array detection at 228 nm. SDS was added as micellar medium at pH 8.2 with sodium tetraborate buffer (0.1 M). Linear calibrations were established within 0.015–1000 μg/mL of each element with LOD within 5–67 ng/mL. The method was applied for the determination of vanadium from crude oil and ore samples in the range 0.34–2.40 and 114.2–720.7 μg/g with RSD 1.7–3.8 and 0.98–2.30% (n = 3), respectively. Fe, Ni, and Co present in crude oil and ore samples were also determined with RSD 1.3–2.8, 1.1–4.1, and 1.2–3.5% (n = 3), respectively. The results were compared with that of supplier's specifications and atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS). Method was evaluated by standard addition technique.  相似文献

The separation and determination of 19 amino acids were examined using two stages derivatization with trifluoroacetylacetone and ethyl chloroformate from the column HP-5 (30 m × 0.32 mm id) with film thickness 0.25 ??m at an initial column temperature 100 °C for 2 min with ramping of 20 °C min?1 up to 250 °C with nitrogen flow rate of 3 mL min?1. The detection was performed by flame ionization detector. Total separation time was 10 min. The separation was repeatable with relative standard deviation (RSD) (n = 5) within 1.5?C1.9 and 1.3?C1.7% in terms of retention time and peak height/peak area, respectively. The method was applied for the determination of amino acids from skin samples of psoriatic patients (n = 6), arsenicosis patients (n = 5) and normal subjects (n = 9) and variation in the contents of the amino acids was noted. The RSDs for the determination were obtained within 3%.  相似文献

The reagent N,N-ethylenebis(salicylaldimine) (H2SA2en) has been examined for precolumn derivatization, followed by solvent extraction in chloroform and HPLC determination of uranium, iron, nickel and copper on a Hypersil ODS 3 μm column. Complexes were eluted isocratically using a ternary mixture of methanol-acetonitrile-water and UV detection was at 260 nm. The detection limit was 12 ng/injection for each of the elements. The method has been applied for the determination of metals in mineral ore samples and phosphate rock residues. The results obtained are compared using atomic absorption.  相似文献

An analytical procedure has been developed for the separation of dioxouranium(VI), iron(III), copper(II), nickel(II), cobalt(II), cobalt(III), palladium(II), and thorium(IV) by MEKC using N,N'-ethylene bis(salicylaldimine) (H(2)SA(2)en) as a complexing reagent with total runtime <4.5 min. SDS was used as micellar medium at pH 8 with sodium tetraborate buffer (0.1 M). An uncoated fused-silica capillary with an effective length of 50 cm x 75 microm id was used with an applied voltage of 30 kV with photodiode array detection at 231 nm. Linear calibrations were obtained within 0.111-1000 microg/mL of each element with LODs within 37-325 ng/mL. The developed method was tested for analysis of uranium ore samples indicating its presence within 103-1789 microg/g with RSD within 0.79-1.87%. Likewise copper, nickel, and iron in their combined matrix were also simultaneously determined with RSD 0.4-1.6% (n = 6).  相似文献

Pyrrolidinedithiocarbamate (PDTC) chelates of Zn(II), Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(III), Fe(III), Mn(II), Cr(III), and VO(II) were analysed by capillary GC on a DB-1701 column (30 m x 0.25 mm id) with flame ionisation detection (FID). Linear calibrations were attained within "1-30 microg/mL" for Ni(II), Fe(III), Mn(II), Cr(III), Cu(II), and VO(II), and within "2-50 microg/mL" for Co(III) and Zn(II). The limits of detection were in the "150-500 ng/mL" range, corresponding to 15-50 pg amounts reaching the FID system. The optimised method was applied to the determination of Cu(II) and Ni(II) in coins, and that of Zn(II), Cu(II), Ni(II), Fe(III), Mn(II), Cr(III), and VO(II) in pharmaceutical preparations with relative standard deviations within 1.1-5.2%. The results obtained are in good agreement with sewage water samples and the declared values for the pharmaceutical formulations, or with the results of AAS of metal contents in coins, pharmaceutical preparations, and sewage water samples.  相似文献

Summary A capillary gas chromatographic method is described for the determination of cisplatin based on the complexation of platinum(II) with bis(isovalerylacetone) ethylenediimine (H2IVA2en) and extraction in chloroform. The chromatography was carried out on a BP1 or a BP5 column with an FID. Copper(II), nickel (II) and palladium(II) separated completely and did not affect the determination of platinum(II). The method was applied of the determination of cisplatin in a pharmaceutical preparation and blood samples of cancer patients after infusion of cisplatin. The amounts of cisplatin in blood were found to be within 246–283 ng mL−1 with a C.V. of 2.35–4.26%.  相似文献

2-Hydroxy salicylhydrazide isatin hydrazone (L) and its Mn (II), Co (II), Ni (II), Cu (II), and Zn (II), metal complexes were synthesized. 1H NMR, UV–Vis, IR spectroscopy and elemental (CHN/S) analysis techniques were applied for characterization. TG/DTA techniques revealed that all the synthetic compounds are thermally stable up to 300 °C. They were found non-electrolytes in nature. Furthermore, all these complexes were evaluated for antiglycation and DPPH radical scavenging activities. They showed varying degree of activity with IC50 values between 168.23 and 269.0 μM in antiglycation and 29.63–57.71 μM in DPPH radical scavenging activity. Mn (II), Co (II), Ni (II), Cu (II), and Zn (II), metal complexes showed good antiglycation as well as DPPH radical scavenging activity. The IC50 values for antiglycation activity are 168.23 ± 2.37, 234.27 ± 4.33, 257.1 ± 6.43, 267.7 ± 8.43, 269.0 ± 8.56 Ni for Co, Zn, Mn, Cu, and Ni complexes, respectively, while IC50 value were found to be 29.63 ± 2.76, 31.13 ± 1.41, 35.16 ± 2.45, 43.53 ± 3.12, 57.71 ± 2.61 μM for Cu, Zn, Mn, Co and Ni complexes, respectively, for DPPH radical scavenging activity. These synthesized metal complexes were found to be better active than standards Rutin (IC50 = 294.46 μM) for anti-glycation, and tert-butyl-4-hydroxyanisole (IC50 = 44.7 μM) for DPPH radical scavenging activity.  相似文献

Ethyl chloroformate was used as a derivatizing reagent to develop a simple and sensitive gas chromatographic procedure for the determination of tranexamic acid. Analysis was performed on an HP-5 column (30 m × 0.32 mm i.d.) coupled with mass spectrometric detection. Linear response was obtained from 60 to 500 pg with a limit of detection of 20 pg tranexamic acid injected onto the column. Aminocaproic acid was used as an internal standard. Tranexamic acid was determined in pharmaceutical preparations and blood samples after therapy with the drug. Appoximately 2.0 μg mL?1 was found in blood samples. Relative standard deviation for analysis was within 0.1–0.4% (n = 3). Recovery of tranexamic acid added to deprotenized serum was 99.6% with an RSD of 1.2–1.6% (n = 3). Pharmaceutical additives and amino acids, if also present, did not affect the determination.  相似文献

Summary Cu(II) Co(II) and Fe(II) in pharmaceutical preparations were determined using precolumn derivatization and solvent extraction with 2-acetylpyridine-4-phenyl-3-thiosemicarbazone (APPT) as complexing reagent. Liquid chromatography (LC) was carried out on a reversed phase C-18, column. The complexes were eluted isocratically with acetonitrile-water containing sodium acetate and tetrabutyl ammonium bromide as ion-pairing agents.
