The instability degree in the diemnsion of spaces of bivariate spline

In this paper, the dimension of the spaces of bivariate spline with degree less that 2r and smoothness order r on the Morgan-Scott triangulation is considered. The concept of the instability degree in the dimension of spaces of bivariate spline is presented. The results in the paper make us conjecture the instability degree in the dimension of spaces of bivariate spline is infinity.     

On fixed point and almost fixed point problems of lower semicontinuous type multivalued mappings

In the present paper, some new almost fixed point theorems and fixed point theorems for lower semicontinuous type multivalued mappings are obtained in metrizable H-spaces.     

Performance of various activators in ethylene polymerization based on an iron(II) catalyst system

Ethylisobutylaluminoxane (EBAO) and its analogues were synthesized by a reaction between an triethylaluminum (Et₃Al)/triisobutylaluminum (i‐Bu₃Al) mixture and 4‐fluorobenzeneboronic acid, phenylboronic acid, or n‐butaneboronic acid and subsequent hydrolysis with water. They were used as cocatalysts in ethylene polymerization catalyzed by an iron complex {[(ArN?C(Me))₂C₅H₃N]FeCl₂, where Ar is 2,6‐diisopropylphenyl}. Polyethylene with a high molecular weight and a narrow molecular weight distribution was prepared with modified EBAOs, and the performance of the iron complex at high polymerization temperatures was greatly improved. The activators for the iron complex also affected the polymerization activity and the molecular weight of the resultant polyethylene. It was suggested that the stereo and electronic effects of the substitute groups of aluminoxane contributed to the improved performance of the new activators. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Precise measurement of magnetic moment of short-lived β-emitting nuclei12B ( I π=1+, T 1/2=20.18 ms)

The spin polarized β-emitting nuclei¹²B (I ^π=1⁺,T _1/2=20.18 ms) were produced by the nuclear reaction¹¹B(d, p)¹²B and by the selection technique of the incident deuteron energy and the¹²B recoil angle following the nuclear reaction. The nuclear magnetic moment of the short-lived nuclei¹²B was measured by β-NMR with the β-NMR and β-NQR setup established for the first time in China. The nuclear magnetic moment of¹²B was determined to be μ=0.99993±0.00048 nm org=0.99993±0.00048 after the precise correction of the Knight shift.     

On the existence of positive solutions for a class of singular boundary value problems

In this paper, by the use of a fixed point theorem, many new necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of positive solutions in C[0,1]∩C¹[0,1]∩C²(0,1) or C[0,1]∩C²(0,1) are presented for singular superlinear and sublinear second-order boundary value problems. Singularities at t=0, t=1 will be discussed.     

Clustering study in Eu(DBM)3Phen-doped polymer optical fibers by optical properties and near-field scanning microscopy

The clusters of Eu3+ ion in Eu(DBM)3Phen-doped polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) have been studied by three means. The relative fluorescence intensity ratio of the 5D0 → 7F2 to 5D0 → 7F1 transitions with different concentrations of Eu3+ in Eu(DBM)3Phen-doped PMMA and metastable-state (5D0) lifetime dependence on Eu3+ concentration are analyzed. The analysis indicates that there are no clustering effects in Eu3+ ions of Eu(DBM)3Phen-doped PMMA when the Eu3+ doping concentration is up to 1.0 wt.-%. At the same time, the clustering effect has not been observed by the scanning near-field optical microscopy (SNOM) in Eu(DBM)3Phen-doped PMMA with 1.0 wt.-% of Eu3+ ions. The analysis reveals that a high concentration of Eu3+ can be incorporated into polymer optical fiber (POF) without clustering effect.OCIS codes: 180.5810, 300.6280, 250.5460, 160.5690.     

利用"对比法"判断气体状态参量的变化趋势

理想气体的温度、体积和压强三个状态参量之间的关系由气体状态方程pV/T=恒量决定。当气体状态发生变化时，判断某一个参量的变化趋势是一个比较复杂的问题。如图1，为p—T图中的状态变化曲线，状态由A变化到B，判断体积的变化趋势。     

断续喷洒去溶电热雾化法在电感耦合等离子体原子发射光谱方法中的应用研究

本文所讨论的电热雾化法是采用继续喷洒去溶技术,使试样在石墨炉表面逐步积累的进样方法。文章简要介绍了实验条件的选择和控制以及石墨炉装置的结构,探讨了提高电热雾化法相对检测能力的途径。实验结果表明:谱线黑度值与试样积累时间的对数值之间具有较好的线性关系。     

Facile cyclic ammonium salt with the smallest size for high performance electric double layer capacitors

A novel cyclic ammonium salt, N,N-dimethylpyrrolidinium tetrafluoroborate (P₁₁-BF₄), was successfully synthesized for the first time. The smallest cyclic structure of P₁₁-BF₄ induced high solubility and conductivity in PC, which can easier enter the micropores of activated carbon and occupy more surface area during charge/discharge process.     

利用压电频移法测定水中的痕量亚硝酸盐

提出了利用压电频移法测定亚硝酸盐的方法。方法以碘离子与亚硝酸根之间的氧化还原反应为依据，通过测定由反应生成的碘所引起的压电晶体频率的变化，在被萃取水相中亚硝酸盐浓度为０．００９￣２．３ｍｇ／Ｌ范围内，频移值与浓度成正比：ΔＦ＝５．８＋２．５×１０＾３Ｃ（ｍｇ／Ｌ），ｒ＝０．９９０１。方法简便，用于天然水中亚硝酸盐的测定，结果令人满意。
