Results are presented on and production in p–W and S–W interactions at 200 GeV/c/nucleon measured via the dimuon decay in a large kinematic region. The data are normalized to the charged particle multiplicity in the same rapidity interval. They have been collected using the HELIOS/3 muon spectrometer at the CERN SPS. The ratio , where is the relevant resonance branching fraction, increases between proton and sulphur projectiles, and is somewhat enhanced going from peripheral to central S–W interactions. This results from an increase in the number of produced 's per charged particle. The ratio is measured in different intervals of p and rapidity. It is not clearly dependent on p, but is larger at higher rapidities. production, likewise normalized to charged multiplicity, is significantly lower in S–W compared to p–W interactions. Several batch experiments were conducted on the anaerobic co-digestion of dairy cow manure (DCM) with three harvest residues (HR) (soybean straw, sunflower stalks, and corn stover). The influence of thermal pretreatment of HR on biogas production was investigated, where the HR were thermally pretreated at two different temperatures: T = 121 °C and T = 175 °C, during t = 30 and t = 90 min, respectively. All anaerobic co-digestion batch experiments were performed simultaneously under thermophilic regime, at T = 55 °C. Biogas and methane yields were significantly improved in experiments performed with corn stover thermally pretreated at 175 °C for 30 min (491.37 cm3/g VS and 306.96 cm3/g VS, respectively), if compared to experiments performed with untreated corn stover. The highest VS and COD removal rates were also observed in the same group of experiments and were 34.5 and 50.1%, respectively. The highest biogas and methane yields with soybean straw (418.93 cm3/g VS and 261.44 cm3/g VS, respectively) were obtained when soybean straw pretreated at 121 °C during 90 min. The highest biogas and methane yields with sunflower stalk (393.28 cm3/g VS and 245.02 cm3/g VS, respectively) were obtained when sunflower stalk was pretreated at 121 °C during 90 min.  相似文献

Four synthetic ion-exchange resins (AH, BH, CH, DH) of different hydrophilic/hydrophobic properties were used as supports for heterogeneous palladium catalysts (A, B, C, D). The resins contained styrene (STY) and 2-(methacryloxy)ethylsulfonic acid (MESA) as the comonomers. Either divinylbenzene (DVB: CH, DH resins) or N,N'-methylenebisacrylamide (MBAA: AH, BH resins) were used as the cross-linker. AH contained also N,N-dimethylacrylamide (DMAA) as the third comonomer. The catalysts (Pd 0.25-0.45% w/w) were obtained by ion-exchanging the acidic forms of the resins with [Pd(OAc)2] and reducing palladium(II) with excess sodium borohydride. The use of NaBH4 also ensured the neutralization of the acidic sites of the supports. No effect of the hydrophilic/hydrophobic properties of the supports was observed in the hydrogenation of cyclohexene and 2-cyclohexen-1-one in methanol, at 25 degrees C and 0.5, 1, and 1.5 MPa, respectively. However, catalysts A and B, containing amido groups provided by either DMAA or MBAA, proved to be more active than C and D. The observed activity enhancement was directly proportional to the nitrogen/ palladium molar ratio in the catalysts. This finding suggests that amido groups promote palladium through a direct interaction with the metal surface.  相似文献

Innovative Pd0 heterogeneous catalysts were prepared upon using cross-linked, gel-type, functional acrylic polymers as the supports, along a simple route in use in our laboratories since long. The supports were obtained by polyaddition co-polymerization of N,N-dimethylacrylamide with either 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid, methacrylic acid or 4-vinylpyridine, and ethylene glycoldimethacrylate (cross-linker). The performance of these catalysts in the hydrogenation of cyclohexene, trans-methylcinnamate and 4-chloro-2-nitroanisole was compared with that of commercial Pd0/EnCat 30NP, produced by Reaxa. One of the catalysts (sulfonic resin as the support) behaved very well as far as activity, stability and selectivity are concerned. These results suggest that heterogeneous metal catalysts supported on polyaddition resins could be developed to become interesting materials for technical applications.  相似文献

Elemental and isotopic pattern of n(87Sr)/n(86Sr) and δ88Sr/86SrSRM987 were used to characterise groundwater and recharge of saline ponds in a clastic aquifer in East Austria. Therefore, shallow, artesian and thermal groundwaters of the investigated aquifer along with rainfall and rivers were analysed using (MC) ICP-MS. The n(87Sr)/n(86Sr) ratio and elemental pattern changed with aquifer depth as a result of progressing bedrock leaching and dissolution with increasing groundwater residence time. The n(87Sr)/n(86Sr) ratio of shallow groundwater below saline ponds of 0.71019?±?0.00044 was significantly different from thermal groundwater of 0.71205?±?0.00035 (U, k?=?2). In contrast to previous theories, this result suggested no recharge of saline ponds by upwelling paleo-seawater. Isotope pattern deconvolution revealed that rainfall accounted to about 60% of the n(87Sr)/n(86Sr) ratio of shallow groundwater below saline ponds. The δ88Sr/86SrSRM987 values of groundwater decreased from about 0.25 ‰ in most shallow, to predominantly negative values of about –0.24 ‰ in artesian groundwater. This result indicated leaching and dissolution of weathered minerals. In turn, the δ88Sr/86SrSRM987 of deep thermal groundwater showed positive values of about 0.12 ‰, which suggested removal of 86Sr from solution by carbonate precipitation. These results highlight the potential of δ88Sr/86SrSRM987 signature as an additional geochemical tracer.  相似文献

Most hydrogen peroxide is currently produced by the selective hydrogenation of 2-ethylanthraquinone (EAQ) to 2-ethylanthrahydroquinone (EAHQ), followed by treatment with dioxygen; this produces hydrogen peroxide and regenerates 2-ethylanthraquinone. We have developed novel catalysts for this process that are based on palladium supported on very lipophilic functional resins and that are able to promote a chemoselectivity for EAHQ slightly but definitely superior to that provided by an industrial catalyst under identical conditions. This finding demonstrates the potential of variations of the lipophilic/hydrophilic character of the support as a tool for the improvement of the chemoselectivity of resin-based metal catalysts.  相似文献

Deuterium excess in precipitation of Alpine regions - moisture recycling   总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6  
The paper evaluates long-term seasonal variations of the deuterium excess (d-excess = delta(2)H - 8. delta(18)O) in precipitation of stations located north and south of the main ridge of the Austrian Alps. It demonstrates that sub-cloud evaporation during precipitation and continental moisture recycling are local, respectively, regional processes controlling these variations. In general, sub-cloud evaporation decreases and moisture recycling increases the d-excess. Therefore, evaluation of d-excess variations in terms of moisture recycling, the main aim of this paper, includes determination of the effect of sub-cloud evaporation. Since sub-cloud evaporation is governed by saturation deficit and distance between cloud base and the ground, its effect on the d-excess is expected to be lower at mountain than at lowland/valley stations. To determine quantitatively this difference, we examined long-term seasonal d-excess variations measured at three selected mountain and adjoining valley stations. The altitude differences between mountain and valley stations ranged from 470 to 1665 m. Adapting the 'falling water drop' model by Stewart [J. Geophys. Res., 80(9), 1133-1146 (1975).], we estimated that the long-term average of sub-cloud evaporation at the selected mountain stations (altitudes between about 1600 and 2250 m.a.s.l.) is less than 1 % of the precipitation and causes a decrease of the d-excess of less than 2 per thousand. For the selected valley stations, the corresponding evaporated fraction is at maximum 7 % and the difference in d-excess ranges up to 8 per thousand. The estimated d-excess differences have been used to correct the measured long-term d-excess values at the selected stations. Finally, the corresponding fraction of water vapour has been estimated that recycled by evaporation of surface water including soil water from the ground. For the two mountain stations Patscherkofel and Feuerkogel, which are located north of the main ridge of the Alps, the maximum seasonal change of the corrected d-excess (July/August) has been estimated to be between 5 and 6 per thousand, and the corresponding recycled fraction between 2.5-3 % of the local precipitation. It has been found that the estimated recycled fractions are in good agreement with values derived from other approaches.  相似文献

Three methods of determination of one-dimensional distribution of14C-labelled compounds are compared: measurement with position-sensitive detector /LB 282/511/, liquid scintillation counting /LSC/, and autoradiography with densitometric quantification. For a mutual comparison of these methods samples of blood serum were used, in which the fractional esterification rate /FER/ was determined by means of LCAT Test. The agreement of the methods of FER determination on the basis of the measurement with LB 282/511 or LSC was checked. In the case of autoradiography a correction for non-linearity between the blackening and the number of -particles striking the area unit was necessary.  相似文献

In the course of routine surveillance for indoor radon in Austria, concentrations above 10,000 Bq/m3 were found in a house in the province of Carinthia, Austria. Multiple 3-day-measurements in all the rooms of the house were carried out for the next 21 months. All rooms of the house had elevated radon concentrations but radon levels decreased systematically from east to west within the house. Moreover, radon concentrations in one room of the building were found to be below 300 Bq/m3 in winter but above 12,000 Bq/m3 in summer. After installing a medium sized fan, operated only during the summer season, the semiannual summer radon levels dropped from approximately 8,000 Bq/m3 to 250 Bq/m3 at ground floor level.
