Na<Subscript>4</Subscript>[<Emphasis Type="Italic">trans</Emphasis>-{Cp*Rh}<Subscript>2</Subscript>Ta<Subscript>6</Subscript>O<Subscript>19</Subscript>] · 24H<Subscript>2</Subscript>O: Synthesis,structure, solution studies

Reaction of [Cp*RhCl₂]₂ (Cp* = η⁵-C₅(CH₃)₅) with Na₈[Ta₆O₁₉] · 24.5H₂O, taken in {Cp*Rh}²⁺/[Ta₆O₁₉]^8– 2: 1 molar ratio, in water leads to a new noble-metal-POM complex Na₄[trans-{Cp*Rh}₂Ta₆O₁₉] · 24H₂O (I), which was isolated and characterized by XRD (CIF file CCDC no. 1416810), elemental analysis, NMR and IR spectroscopy.     

Molecular distribution at the interface in an aqueous triethylamine solution. <Superscript>1</Superscript>H NMR

The ¹H NMR spectra in a binary aqueous triethylamine solution are recorded with a lower critical point of the liquid–liquid phase transition. It is found that, above the critical temperature the ¹H NMR spectra of water and triethylamine molecules in the phase with a predominant content of triethylamine molecules are characterized by an inhomogeneous broadening. It can be supposed that the found broadening is due to the features of the molecular distribution at the interface.     

Ligand condensation of P(CH2OH)3: Synthesis and structure of [Ni3S2{(CH2OH)2PCH2OP(CH2OH)2}3][Mo6Cl14] · 0.8H2O

Reaction of NiCl₂ · 6H₂O and P(CH₂OH)₃ (THP) with H₂S and (H₇O₃)₂[Mo₆Cl₁₄] · 3H₂O in ethanol produces new trinuclear nickel sulphide complex [Ni₃(μ₃-S)₂{(HOCH₂)₂PCH₂OP(CH₂OH)₂}₃][Mo₆Cl₁₄] · 0.8H₂O (I) with new bidentate phosphine-phosphinite ligand resulted from THP condensation. It was characterized by X-ray structure analysis.
