A model for the transport of charged particles in a random magnetic field is a Volterra integrodifferential equation with a long-range kernel. The integrodifferential equation is solved numerically with the method of Bellman, Kalaba, and Lockett (“Numerical Inversion of the Laplace Transform,” Elsevier, New York, 1966). Global existence in time and uniqueness of solutions are proved for the Cauchy problem for the Vlasov-Maxwell system of equations in one dimension. The limiting values of the field ±(x, t) as the space variable x → E ∞ are shown to be uniquely determined by the initial data. This result then yields existence of solutions of various boundary value problems. Solutions periodic in x are also discussed in this same framework. 相似文献

Thermal imaging was used for the estimation of lower-limb primary chronic venous diseases connected with an insufficiency of superficial veins. The current study was performed by means of a Thermovision A40 camera. The curves of the chosen regions of interest were performed in a research room with a stabilized temperature. Curves of the lower extremities showed that the patients suffered from a venous insufficiency characterized by a higher skin temperature connected with pathological changes in the veins. Changes seen in the lower extremities skin thermal map may be associated with blood stasis, inflammatory states and swelling. The differences in temperature distribution are due to a correlation between the medical diagnosis and the parameters obtained from duplex scanning. The results of the thermal imaging showed differences between patients’ health may suggest that a thermovision of lower extremities venous diseases can be very useful in medical diagnosis. The correlation was obtained from temperature parameters and duplex scanning. The parameters may suggest that thermovision diagnostics may be useful as a complementary method in the diagnosis of chronic venous diseases in the lower extremities. 相似文献

In a high‐yield one‐pot synthesis, the reactions of [Cp*M(η5‐P5)] (M=Fe ( 1 ), Ru ( 2 )) with I2 resulted in the selective formation of [Cp*MP6I6]+ salts ( 3 , 4 ). The products comprise unprecedented all‐cis tripodal triphosphino‐cyclotriphosphine ligands. The iodination of [Cp*Fe(η5‐As5)] ( 6 ) gave, in addition to [Fe(CH3CN)6]2+ salts of the rare [As6I8]2? (in 7 ) and [As4I14]2? (in 8 ) anions, the first di‐cationic Fe‐As triple decker complex [(Cp*Fe)2(μ,η5:5‐As5)][As6I8] ( 9 ). In contrast, the iodination of [Cp*Ru(η5‐As5)] ( 10 ) did not result in the full cleavage of the M?As bonds. Instead, a number of dinuclear complexes were obtained: [(Cp*Ru)2(μ,η5:5‐As5)][As6I8]0.5 ( 11 ) represents the first Ru‐As5 triple decker complex, thus completing the series of monocationic complexes [(CpRM)2(μ,η5:5‐E5)]+ (M=Fe, Ru; E=P, As). [(Cp*Ru)2As8I6] ( 12 ) crystallizes as a racemic mixture of both enantiomers, while [(Cp*Ru)2As4I4] ( 13 ) crystallizes as a symmetric and an asymmetric isomer and features a unique tetramer of {AsI} arsinidene units as a middle deck. 相似文献

We study a scalar field theory with a non-standard kinetic term minimally coupled to gravity. We establish the existence of
compact boson stars, that is, static solutions with compact support of the full system with self-gravitation taken into account.
Concretely, there exist two types of solutions, namely compact balls on the one hand, and compact shells on the other hand.
The compact balls have a naked singularity at the center. The inner boundary of the compact shells is singular, as well, but
it is, at the same time, a Killing horizon. These singular, compact shells therefore resemble black holes. 相似文献
