The herbal parts of Arischrada korolkowii (Regel et Schmalh.) Pobed. (Lamiaceae) growing in Uzbekistan were hydrodistillated to yield 1.1% of essential oil. The essential oil was analyzed by GC/MS. Eighty eight compounds were characterized representing 98% of the essential oil with 1,8-cineole (29.3%), camphor (9.8%), -caryophyllene (8.5%), bornyl acetate (7.7%), caryophyllene oxide (7.2%), and borneol (5.6%) as the main constituents.  相似文献

Lycium species growing in Turkey have not so far been studied sufficiently. For this reason, non-polar and polar extracts obtained from the fruits of Lycium barbarum L. and L. Ruthenicum Murray (Solanaceae) were assessed both in vitro for their potential as free radical scavenger crude extracts and their phenolic composition. Fruits of Lycium species were sequentially extracted with petroleum ether, ethyl acetate, methanol, n-butanol, and water in a Soxhlet extractor. All the extracts were assessed for the scavenging of the nitrogen-centered free radical 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH.) by in vitro method. Furthermore, the composition of each extract was investigated both in terms of its Folin-Ciocalteau reactive components and its qualitative content. The phenolic compounds within the extracts were determined as benzoic acid and hydroxycinnamic acid derivatives, flavonoids, and anthocyanins according to their retention time and UV spectral data by HPLC-DAD system.  相似文献

The aromatic composition of five blackberry cultivars (Bursa 2, Navaho, Nessy, Chester Thornless, and Jumbo) was studied. The Im-SPME (Immersion Solid Phase Micro Extraction) extraction technique was applied and the samples were analyzed by GC/MS. Furfural and its derivatives were found to be the major aromatic compounds and 5-hydroxymethylfurfural was the most abundant compound in all the blackberry varieties.  相似文献

Fatty Acid Composition of Pistachio Nuts in Turkey   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
In this study oil yields and fatty acid compositions in the kernels of two varieties (Uzun and Siirt) of pistachio grown in different region of Turkey were investigated. Kernel oils were obtained by Soxhlet extraction using petroleum ether. The yields were found to be 57.1-58.9% and 56.1-62.6 respectively for the Uzun and Siirt varieties, on a moisture-free basis. Fatty acid composition of oils were analysed by GC/MS in the methyl ester form. Fourteen fatty acid components representing about 99% of the total oils were characterised. Oleic acid (55.4-62.6% and 60.7-65.5%, respectively) was the main fatty acid component in both varieties. Pentadecanoic acid, (Z)-7-hexadecenoic acid, margaric acid, Z-7-octadecenoic acid, arachidic acid, 11-eicosenoic acid, and behenic acid were detected in both varieties for the first time.  相似文献

The evaluation ofRosa canina L. fruits and their products is depended in part on their organic acid contents. In this study, ascorbic and citric acid contents inRosa canina L. fruits collected from five different regions in Central Asia were investigated. Amounts of acids determined with the HPLC method were found to be 0.048–0.1143 g/100 g for ascorbic acid and 5.9–7.5 g/100 g for citric acid. Presented at the Third International Symposium on the Chemistry of Natural Products (Bukhara, Uzbekistan, October 19–22, 1998). Deceased. The compositions of microdistilled and hydrodistilled essential oils of the mastix ofPistacia eurycarpaYalt. (Anacardiaceae) were compared. The essential oils were analyzed by GC/MS:- andbeta;-pinenes were found as the major constituents. The antimicrobial activity of the hydrodistilled oil was determined due to the ethnomedical uses of the oleo-gum resin on skin diseases.  相似文献

Seed oils of 12 Salvia species collected from different regions in Turkey (S. Albimaculata Hedge & Hub.-Mor., S. Candidisima Vahl., S. Cedronella Boiss., S. Cryptantha Montbret & Aucher ex Bentham, S. Forskahlei L., S. Fruticosa Miller (Sin. S. Triloba L. Fil), S. Halophila Hedge, S. Hypargeia Fisch. & Mey., S. Sclarea L., S. Tomentosa Miller, S. Tchihatcheffii (Fisch. & Mey.) Boiss., S. Virgata Jacq.) were obtained by Soxhlet apparatus using hexane. The oil yields were found to be between 2.0% and 20.9%. Fatty acids in the oils were converted to methyl esters and determined by GC/MS in methyl ester form. The main fatty acid components of S. halophila, S. Hypargeia, and S. Sclarea are unsaturated oleic, linoleic, and linolenic acids. In others except S. Candidissima, the dominant acids are oleic, linoleic and palmitic acids.  相似文献
