The self-organizing map (a neural network) was applied to the spectral pattern recognition of voice quality in 34 subjects: 15 patients operated on because of insufficient glottal closure and 19 subjects not treated for voice disorders. The voice samples, segments of sustained /a/, were perceptually rated by six experts. A self-organized acoustic feature map was first computed from tokens of /a/ and then used for the analysis of the samples. The locations of the samples on the map were determined and the distances from a normal reference were compared with the perceptual ratings. The map locations corresponded to the degree of audible disorder: the samples judged as normal were overlapping or close to the normal reference, whereas the samples judged as dysphonie were located further away from it. The comparison of pre- and postoperative samples of the patients showed that the perceived improvement of voice quality was also detected by the map.  相似文献

The 12 S 1/2(F=1)?22 S 1/2(F=1) energy interval in muonium has been investigated by Doppler-free two-photon laser spectroscopy. The transition was observed by uniquely identifying and counting the muons released after the photoionization of the 2S state by the same laser field. The measured transition frequency of 2455 528016(58)(43) MHz is in good agreement with QED calculations. The experiment can be interpreted as a test of the Lamb shift contributions at the 1% level. The method is also well suited for a precise determination of the mass of the positive muon in a muoniumhydrogen isotope shift measurement.  相似文献

Cytochrome c (Cyt-c) was electrostatically immobilised on Ag electrodes coated with self-assembled monolayers (SAM) that are formed by omega-carboxyl alkanethiols with different alkyl chain lengths (C(x)). Surface enhanced resonance Raman (SERR) spectroscopy demonstrated that electrostatic binding does not lead to conformational changes of the heme protein under the conditions of the present experiments. Employing time-resolved SERR spectroscopy, the rate constants of the heterogeneous electron transfer (ET) between the adsorbed Cyt-c and the Ag electrode were determined for a driving force of zero electronvolts. For SAMs with long alkyl chains (C(16), C(11)), the rate constants display a normal exponential distance dependence, whereas for shorter chain lengths (C(6), C(3), C(3)), the ET rate constant approaches a constant value (ca. 130 s(-1)). The onset of the non-exponential distance-dependence is paralleled by an increasing kinetic H/D effect, indicating a coupling of the redox reaction with proton transfer (PT) steps. This unusual kinetic behaviour is attributed to the effect of the electric field at the Ag/SAM interface that increasingly raises the energy barrier for the PT processes with decreasing distance of the adsorbed Cyt-c from the electrode. The distance-dependence of the electric field strength is estimated on the basis of a simple electrostatic model that can consistently describe the redox potential shifts of Cyt-c as determined by stationary SERR spectroscopy for the various SAMs. At low electric fields, PT is sufficiently fast so that rate constants, determined as a function of the driving force, yield the reorganisation energy (0.217 electronvolts) of the heterogeneous ET.  相似文献

Microwave-assisted extraction of zearalenone from wheat and corn   总被引:9,自引:0,他引:9  
A microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) method has been developed for determination of zearalenone in wheat and corn by LC-MS with an atmospheric pressure chemical ionization interface (APCI). Matrix effects were minimized by use of matrix-matched standard curves for quantification of the analyte. The limit of quantification (LOQ) of the method was 30 ng g(-1) in wheat and 20 ng g(-1) in corn. The rapid LC-MS method enabled analysis of the extracts without clean-up, thereby reducing analyte losses, the time required for the analytical procedure, and costs. A factorial design approach was used to examine the effect on extraction efficiency of the main extraction conditions - time, temperature, and solvent. On the basis of results from statistical assessment extraction was performed with 1:1 (v/v) methanol-acetonitrile at 80 degrees C for 5 min. When these extraction conditions were applied to a wheat sample from a recently conducted international proficiency test, 92% (103 ng g(-1)) of the assigned zearalenone concentration (112 ng g(-1)) in the test material was obtained. This result was within the uncertainty (u) range of the assigned value of the test material (u=+/-15.8 ng g(-1), alpha=0.05) thereby demonstrating the accuracy of the method was sufficient. The precision of the whole method was also confirmed to be adequate, because the observed relative standard deviation (RSD) of 12% (n=10) also fulfils the quality criteria recommended by European guidelines for in-house method validation.  相似文献

We report the synthesis and elementary properties of the Co7Se8−xSx (x=0-8) and Ni7Se8−xSx (x=0-7) solid solutions. Both systems form a NiAs-type structure with metal vacancies. In general, the lattice parameters decrease with increasing x, but in the Ni7Se8−xSx system c increases on going from x=5 to 7. Magnetic susceptibility measurements show that all samples exhibit temperature-independent paramagnetism from 25-250 K. Samples within the Co7Se8−xSx system, as well as Ni7Se8 and Ni7SeS7, were found to be poor metals with resistivities of ∼0.20 and ∼0.06 mΩ cm at 300 K, respectively. The Sommerfeld constant (γ) was determined from specific heat measurements to be ∼13 mJ/molCoK2 and ∼7 mJ/molNiK2 for Co7Se8−xSx and Ni7Se8−xSx, respectively.  相似文献

The chromophore structures in the parent states Pr and Pfr as well as in the photocycle intermediate Lumi-R of oat phytochrome phyA are determined by comparison of the experimental resonance Raman spectra with calculated Raman spectra that have been obtained by density functional theory calculations (B3LYP) using scaled force fields. The spectra were calculated for various tetrapyrrole geometries including more than twenty different methine bridge isomers. For the parent states Pr and Pfr the best agreement in terms of vibrational frequencies, isotopic shifts, and Raman intensities was achieved with the ZZZasa and ZZEssa geometry, respectively. For the first intermediate Lumi-R, the chromophore geometry is concluded to be the ZZEasa configuration. These finding imply that the primary step of the photoactivation of phytochrome is the Z/E isomerization of the C-D methine bridge double bond, whereas the single bond remains in the anti conformation. The subsequent transition to the physiologically active state Pfr includes a (partial) single bond rotation of the A-B methine bridge.  相似文献
