Current on-line solid-phase extraction methods combined with HPLC for shortening the clean-up operation are not suitable for simultaneously detecting compounds that have a wide variety of hydrophobicities. To solve these problems, we designed a new on-line sample preparation system. The system consists of an eluting pump, a mixing TEE connector, a 10-port 2-position valve and a solid-phase extraction precolumn. The eluate from the precolumn is diluted with a weak solvent from the HPLC at the TEE connection to load low hydrophobic compounds onto the analytical column. The proposed on-line sample preparation system was successfully applied to the simultaneous analysis of 21 pesticides in river water using LC/TOF-MS. In this method, the recoveries from river water samples were 67 to 126% (mean 83%), the reproducibility (CV%) was in the range from 1.1 to 11% (mean 5.6%), the calibration curve was linear in the range from 1 ppb to 500 ppb (r > 0.999) and the detection limits (S/N = 3) were in the range from 0.0034 ppb (daimuron) to 3.3 ppb (oxine-copper).  相似文献

Thermal expansion and dielectric relaxation of polyacrylonitrile were measured in the temperature range from ?75 to 152°C. at frequencies from 30 cps to 3 Mc./sec. The thermal expansion curve and the temperature dependence of logarithmic relaxation time both show an inflection at 85°C. An x-ray study by Bohn reveals that this inflection comes from the thermal expansion of the paracrystalline phase of this polymer, and consequently the transition at 85°C. and the associated relaxation are ascribed to molecular motion in the paracrystalline phase. The relaxation strength increases with increasing temperature above this point. The transition is caused by freezing of the bending vibration of chains whereas the relaxation results from rotational vibration. The length of segments in this phase is roughly estimated to be ca. 100 A. by comparing the observed relaxation strength with the theory developed on the basis of the above considerations.  相似文献

Radiation-induced copolymer grafting of acenaphthylene and maleic anhydride onto polyethylene or EVA film in the vapor phase was carried out and the effect of comonomer sorption on the grafting was studied. When polyethylene film was used as a backbone polymer, the sorption of the binary monomers during the grafting increased linearly as the grafting reaction proceeded. The marked increase was probably caused by the formation of a grafted layer. Particularly, the sorption of maleic anhydride was brought about by the existence of a grafted layer. In grafting onto EVA film, the content of maleic anhddride in the grafted copolymer increased with the increasing content of vinyl acetate in EVA. Continuous measurements of sorption of the comonomers onto EVA and grafted EVA films were carried out by use of an electrobalance. The distinctive feature of the sorption was that the equilibrium sorption of acenaphthylene or maleic anhydride onto the grafted EVA film increased and the diffusion constants for both comonomers decreased markedly with increasing percentage of graft. The copolymer grafting was explained from these results by assuming that the monomer molecules are supplied to the propagating chain ends mostly through a sorbed state on the polymer film.  相似文献

In this research, zeolite-derived aluminosilicate phosphors were synthesized through the ion exchange route. Red light-emitting property of Eu3+-doped aluminosilicate phosphors were discussed from a view point of the Eu content, heat-treatment condition and the oxidation state of Eu ions. The crystalline phase of the host aluminosilicates could be successfully controlled as designed based on the published NaAlO2–SiO2 binary phase diagram. Orange-red emission peaks derived from the 5D07Fj (j=0, 1, 2, 3, 4) transition of Eu3+ were observed around 590–700 nm, and 4f65d→4f7 transition of Eu2+ was observed at around 400–500 nm. The relative intensity I(5D07F2) of the dominant emission peak at 612 nm increased consistently with the Eu content. The results of the XANES spectroscopy analysis revealed that Eu2+ ion in the 1400 °C as heat-treated host aluminosilicate were successfully converted to Eu3+ by the additional annealing at 1100 °C. The Eu contents and heat-treatment conditions were determined to exhibit the best performance as a red phosphor, which were 10 wt% and 1500 °C, respectively  相似文献

Piezoelectricity in polymer films is classified by its mechanism into three groups: A-1, intrinsic piezoelectricity due to internal strain in nonpolar crystals; A-2, intrinsic piezoelectricity due to the strain-dependence of the spontaneous polarization in polar crystals; and B, piezoelectricity due to the heterogeneity of macroscopic strain.

The relaxational behavior of piezoelectricity in Type A-1 is discussed for two cases: (a) the piezoelectric phase is relaxing, and (b) the piezoelectric phase is nonrelaxing but the nonpiezoelectric phase is relaxing. For Case a, a thermody-namic theory is developed, yielding relations among relaxation strengths of piezoelectric constant, dielectric constant, and elastic modulus. For Case b, on the other hand, the inequalities e″/e′ < 0 and d″/d′ > 0 are verified for a generalized composite model of two phases, where e′ — ie” and d′ — id″ are complex piezoelectric stress and strain constants, respectively.

Relaxational behavior of the piezoelectric constant for Type A-2 and Type B is expected to reflect that of the electrostriction constant as suggested by theories. The complex electrostriction constant in a range from 30 Hz to 500 kHz is presented for unrolled and rolled poly(vinylidene fluoride) films. The frequency dependence of the complex electrostriction constant can explain the relaxational behavior of the piezoelectric constant of Types A-2 and B, and at the same time gives a new aspect of the relaxational character of polymers, the strain-dependence of the relaxation time, and its anisotropy.  相似文献
