Synthesis,antioxidant activity,and α-glucosidase enzyme inhibition of α-aminophosphonate derivatives bearing piperazine-1,2,3-triazole moiety

A novel series of piperazine-1,2,3-triazole bearing dimethyl(((2-(4-((1H-1,2,3-triazole-4-yl)methyl)piperazin-1-yl)ethylamino)(2-hydroxyaryl)methyl)phosphonate derivatives have been prepared via copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition (CuAAC) (Click Reaction) and Schiff base reactions. The synthesized compounds were confirmed by spectral characterization (¹H, ¹³C and ³¹P NMR, and mass). The title compounds were evaluated for in vitro alpha glucosidase enzyme inhibition and in vitro antioxidant activity using DPPH and H₂O₂ methods.     

An effective green and ecofriendly catalyst for synthesis of bis(indolyl)methanes as promising antimicrobial agents

An effective and suitable meglumine‐catalyzed high‐yielding process was considered and engaged for the synthesis of new bis(indolyl)methanes at ambient temperature under aqueous conditions. The catalytic reaction proceeds very smoothly. Clean reaction, ease of product isolation/purification, easily available reactant and ecofriendly reaction conditions are the notable advantages of the present methodology. All the title compounds were characterized by IR, 1H, ¹³C NMR, and mass spectra. All the synthesized compounds were tested for antimicrobial activity, and the results indicated that most of the synthesized compounds exhibited excellent activity against the tested microorganisms. In this new series, compound 3l , having nitro substituent on the aromatic ring, showed exceptional potent inhibitory activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Penicillium chrysogenum.     

Asymptotics for the potential in a periodic network with localized defects

We consider a network of conductors built on the lattice h Z ² and study how the potential is affected by a localized interior defect. Design and Synthesis of Some New Benzimidazole Containing Pyrazoles and Pyrazolyl Thiazoles as Potential Antimicrobial Agents

A new class of bis heterocycles‐benzimidazolyl pyrazoles were prepared from the Michael acceptor (E)‐3‐(1H‐benzimidazol‐2‐yl)‐1‐aryl‐prop‐2‐en‐1‐one. The thiamide group was exploited to develop thiazole ring on treatment with p‐fluorophenacyl bromide to get tris heterocycles. All the lead compounds were tested for antimicrobial activity. The compound 7d having nitro substituent on the aromatic ring showed greater antimicrobial activity particularly against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Penicillium chrysogenum.     

Finite element analysis of parabolic integro-differential equations of Kirchhoff type

The aim of this paper is to study parabolic integro-differential equations of Kirchhoff type. We prove the existence and uniqueness of the solution for this problem via Galerkin method. Semidiscrete formulation for this problem is presented using conforming finite element method. As a consequence of the Ritz–Volterra projection, we derive error estimates for both semidiscrete solution and its time derivative. To find the numerical solution of this class of equations, we develop two different types of numerical schemes, which are based on backward Euler–Galerkin method and Crank–Nicolson–Galerkin method. A priori bounds and convergence estimates in spatial as well as temporal direction of the proposed schemes are established. Finally, we conclude this work by implementing some numerical experiments to confirm our theoretical results.     

Isoselenocyanates derived from Boc/Z-amino acids: synthesis, isolation, characterization, and application to the efficient synthesis of unsymmetrical selenoureas and selenoureidopeptidomimetics

Isoselenocyanates derived from Boc/Z-amino acids are prepared by the reaction of the corresponding isonitriles with selenium powder in presence of triethylamine at reflux. The utility of these new classes of isoselenocyanates in the preparation of selenoureidodipeptidomimetics possessing both amino as well as carboxy termini has been accomplished. The ¹H NMR analysis confirmed that the protocol involving the conversion of isonitriles to isoselenocyanates and their use as coupling agents in assembling selenoureido derivatives is free from racemization.

Zusammenfassung Es wird die Strömung einer elektrisch leitenden Flüssigkeit in einem um seine Achse rotierenden vertikalen Kreiszylinder in einem Magnetfeld untersucht. Die Form der Oberfläche der Flüssigkeit wird unter dem Einfluss eines axialen sowie auch eines radialen Magnetfeldes diskutiert.Die freie Oberfläche, die beim Fehlen eines magnetischen Feldes ein Rotationsparaboloid ist, wird beim Anwachsen des Feldes immer mehr verzerrt und abgeflacht. Qualitativ haben beide Felder dieselbe Auswirkung, aber quantitativ ist der Einfluss des radialen Feldes grösser.     

One-pot green synthesis and cytotoxicity of new <Emphasis Type="Italic">α</Emphasis>-aminophosphonates

A novel series of α-aminophosphonates containing the trifluoromethyl aniline moiety were obtained in high yields by condensation of 2-methyl-3-trifluoromethyl aniline, aryl/heteroaryl aldehydes and dimethylphosphite in the presence of chitosan as a catalyst. The molecular modeling studies revealed their important structural features of binding affinities towards the target enzyme. The cytotoxicity of these compounds was evaluated against PC-3(prostate cancer), MCF-7 (breast cancer), HeLa(cCervix Cancer), U973, K562 and HL60 human lLeukemia cell lines. Compound 4k with a pyrene moiety showed high potency against a breast cancer cell line, while compounds 4g and 4k exhibited more promising cytotoxicity against U973, K562 and HL60 cell lines.
