A mathematical model for the discharge of a gas-saturated liquid from cylindrical channels is developed. Two limiting cases
of linear and quadratic, relations between the flow friction force and the flow velocity are considered. It is established
that the process of evacuation, from a semi-infinite channel consists of two stages. In the initial stage, the flow drag can
be ignored, and the process of discharge is described by a Riemann wave solution. For the next stage, in which inertia is
insignificant, nonlinear equations are obtained and self-similar solutions are constructed for them. The problem of flow through
a slot in a tank of finite volume is solved. It is shown that the discharge proceeds either in a gas-dynamic choking regime
or in a subsonic regime, depending on the conditions inside the tank and at the outlet. Examples of numerical calculations
are given.

Radial oscillations of a gas bubble in a large spherical flask filled with a fluid are considered. We derive an equation of
the change of the bubble radius by the known law of pressure variation at the boundary of the liquid volume (the law of motion
of the piston) for a period of time during which, repeatedly reflected from the piston, the leading front of the reflected-from-the
bubble perturbations reaches the bubble. For further calculations of the change of the bubble radius, recurrent relations
which include the wave reflected from the bubble in the previous cycle and its subsequent reflection from the piston are obtained.
Under harmonic action of the piston on the fluid-bubble system, a certain periodic regime with a package of bubble oscillations
is established.

The nuclear spin-phonon interaction Hamiltonian for Van Vleck paramagnets is derived in general form with allowance for rotational vibrations of the crystal lattice. The specific form of the Hamiltonian is given for tetragonal crystal symmetry in the cases S=1/2 and S > 1/2. The coefficient of sound absorption at the electron-nuclear levels as well as the electron spin system is calculated. The spectral dependence of photoconductivity in the doped narrow-gap semiconductor Pb0.75Sn0.25Te(In) under the action of terahertz laser radiation pulses has been studied at temperatures 4.2–30 K. It is shown that the
photoconductivity spectrum of the semiconductor spreads at least up to the wavelength of 500 μm. This value is more than twice
higher than the red cutoff wavelength of 220 μm in uniaxially stressed Ge(Ga) which is known as the most long-wavelength photodetector
among sensitive photon detectors of radiation. Mechanisms responsible for photosensitivity of PbSnTe(In) in the terahertz
