Four, individually addressable 30 microm diameter, e-beam deposited, gold microelectrodes recessed by 6 microm were suitably spaced on a single substrate to avoid diffusional overlap between each microelectrode. The single substrate device was functionalised with thiolated alpha-, beta-, and gamma-cyclodextrin nanocavities without spacer groups to ensure close proximity of the cavities to the electrode surface. The microelectrodes were assessed in two stages. The e-beam deposited micron sized electrodes were characterized using models for recessed and inlaid microdisk electrodes. Subsequently, each individually addressable, atomically flat, micro-patterned gold electrode with thiolated CD ensembles was treated as a nanoporous electrode assembly. Theoretical and experimental results were compared using cyclic voltammetry. Atomic force microscopy was also used to characterise the modified microelectrodes. Comparisons were made with thiolated CDs deposited on macroelectrodes. This is the first report of the behaviour of immobilized CD nanocavities ensembles on atomically flat gold microelectrodes. 相似文献

In this paper, a decentralized adaptive control scheme for multi-robot coverage is proposed. This control method is designed based on centroidal Voronoi configuration integrated with robust adaptive fuzzy control techniques. We consider simple single integrator mobile robots used for covering dynamical environments, where an adaptive fuzzy logic system is used to approximate the unknown parts of control law. A robust coverage criterion is used to attenuate the adaptive fuzzy approximation error and measurement noises to a prescribed level. Therefore, the robots motion is forced to obey solutions of a coverage optimization problem. The advantages of the proposed controller can be listed as robustness to external disturbances, computation uncertainties, and measurement noises, while applicability on dynamical environments. A Lyapunov-function based proof is given of robust stability, i.e. convergence to the optimal positions with bounded error. Finally, simulation results are demonstrated for a swarm coverage problem simultaneous with tracking mobile intruders. 相似文献

Celestine blue(CB)was introduced as a new electroactive indicator in DNA biosensors.The interaction of CB with DNA was investigated by electrochemical and spectroscopic methods.The effect of buffer kind and p H on the electrochemical behavior of CB was studied.The peak currents of CB were linearly related to DNA concentration in the range of 5.0×10~(-9) to 1.0×10~(-7)mol/L.The detection limit of this approach was 4.76×10~(-10) mol/L.Based on spectrometry data a hypochromic effect was observed in UV-Vis spectra of CB with increasing DNA concentration.The results illustrate the possible interaction mode between CB and DNA is electrostatic binding. 相似文献

In present paper, an atmospheric-pressure low-temperature plasma treatment of pyrolysis fuel oil (PFO) was investigated in dielectric barrier discharge plasma torch reactor. The effect of the applied voltage and the volume of feedstock, as the main parameters, on the cracking of PFO were studied. By increasing the applied voltage from 10 to 16 kV, the production rate of hydrocarbons containing methane, ethylene, acetylene, propane, propylene, and C4 rise 18 times. In this case, the production rate of hydrogen increases by approximately 14 times and reaches 7.27 × 10?3 mol/min for 16 kV. In the feedstock volume investigation, based on limitation of reactor volume, the production rate of hydrocarbons decreased from 0.44 × 10?3 to 0.15 × 10?3 mol/min by increasing volume of feedstock from 1 to 5 cc. 相似文献

MicroRNAs (miRNAs, miRs) are naturally occurring small RNAs (approximately 22 nucleotides in length) that have critical functions in a variety of biological processes, including tumorigenesis. They are an important target for detection technology for future medical diagnostics. In this paper we report an electrochemical method for miRNA detection based on paramagnetic beads and enzyme amplification. In particular, miR 222 was chosen as model sequence, because of its involvement in brain, lung, and liver cancers. The proposed bioassay is based on biotinylated DNA capture probes immobilized on streptavidin-coated paramagnetic beads. Total RNA was extracted from the cell sample, enriched for small RNA, biotinylated, and then hybridized with the capture probe on the beads. The beads were then incubated with streptavidin–alkaline phosphatase and exposed to the appropriate enzymatic substrate. The product of the enzymatic reaction was electrochemically monitored. The assay was finally tested with a compact microfluidic device which enables multiplexed analysis of eight different samples with a detection limit of 7 pmol L?1 and RSD?=?15 %. The results of degradation efficiency of 2-sec-butyl-4,6-dinitrophenol (DNBP) in a batch system by various advanced oxidation processes revealed the order of TiO2/UV/O3 > TiO2/O3 > UV/O3 > O3 > UV/TiO2. All processes followed pseudo-first order kinetics. The influence of operational parameters such as initial pH, initial concentration of DNBP, ozone and catalyst dosage on the TiO2/UV/O3 process, which was the most significant investigated method. The ozone dosage was found to have the noticeable impact on the process; however, initial pH and TiO2 dosage were less effective. The mineralization of 40 mg/L of DNBP and petrochemical wastewater under the obtained optimal conditions was monitored by total organic carbon and chemical oxygen demand, respectively. The results demonstrated that the TiO2/UV/O3 process was a very effective method for degradation and mineralization of DNBP in aqueous solutions and industrial wastewater.
