Molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) are tailor-made synthetic polymers with a predetermined selectivity for a given analyte, or group of structurally related compounds, that make them ideal materials for use as stationary phases in affinity chromatography. However, extensive peak broadening and tailing, especially of the more retained compound (normally the template) are often observed. Thus, huge efforts have been made during recent years to use MIPs in capillary electrochromatography, which is inherently a more efficient chromatographic technique than conventional HPLC. Accordingly, this paper gives an overview of the attempts carried out in the recent past to improve the chromatographic performance of MIPs in capillary electrochromatography as well as more recent applications. It is concluded that MIPs are very promising materials for use as selective stationary phases in CEC.  相似文献

Cytochrome P450 oxidoreductase (POR) is a membrane-bound flavoprotein that helps in transferring electrons from its NADPH domain to all cytochrome P450 (CYP450) enzymes. Mutations in the POR gene could severely affect the metabolism of steroid hormones and the development of skeletal muscles, a condition known as Cytochrome P450 oxidoreductase deficiency (PORD). PORD is associated with clinical presentations of disorders of sex development, Antley and Bixler’s syndrome (ABS), as well as an abnormal steroid hormone profile. We have performed an in silico analysis of POR 3D X-ray protein crystal structure to study the effects of reported mutations on the POR enzyme structure. A total of 32 missense mutations were identified, from 170 PORD patients, and mapped on the 3D crystal structure of the POR enzyme. In addition, five of the missense mutations (R457H, A287P, D210G, Y181D and Y607C) were further selected for an in-depth in silico analysis to correlate the observed changes in POR protein structure with the clinical phenotypes observed in PORD patients. Overall, missense mutations found in the binding sites of POR cofactors could lead to a severe form of PORD, emphasizing the importance of POR cofactor binding domains in transferring electrons to the CYP450 enzyme family.  相似文献

String theory, quantum geometry, loop quantum gravity and black hole physics all indicate the existence of a minimal observable length on the order of Planck length. This feature leads to a modification of Heisenberg uncertainty principle. Such a modified Heisenberg uncertainty principle is referred as gravitational uncertainty principle(GUP) in literatures. This proposal has some novel implications on various domains of theoretical physics. Here, we study some consequences of GUP in the spirit of Quantum mechanics. We consider two problem: a particle in an one-dimensional box and free particle wave function. In each case we will solve corresponding perturbational equations and compare the results with ordinary solutions.  相似文献

The IRSL and post-IR IRSL (pIRIR) signal characteristics of polymineral fine grains are investigated and compared with those of K- and Na-rich feldspar extracts. TL signal loss after IR and pIRIR stimulations occurs mainly at around 320 °C for polymineral and Na-feldspar samples and around 410 °C for K-feldspar samples, when a preheat temperature of 250 °C for 60 s is used. After preheating to a higher temperature (320 °C for 60 s) all samples show a TL reduction around 410 °C in the blue detection window. Pulse annealing experiments for IRSL and pIRIR signals for preheats between 320 °C and 500 °C indicate that the signal stabilities are similar among the different feldspar types, when a higher preheat temperature (>320 °C) is used. Thermal activation energies for IRSL and pIRIR signals are largest in K-feldspar and smallest in polymineral fine grains, in both blue and UV detection windows for both fast time-resolved (TR) and continuous wave (CW) signals. These results suggest that IRSL and pIRIR signals in polymineral fine grains originate mainly from Na-feldspar grains; these signals are less thermally stable than those from K-feldspar, but a more stable signal (presumably from K-feldspar grains) can be obtained using a higher preheat temperature.  相似文献

An operationally simple and entirely green protocol for the synthesis of thiourea derivatives by the reaction of carbon disulfide with primary amines in pure water is developed. Most recent findings on structural and magnetic properties of Fe-Ni-Co nano-powders produced by mechanical alloying and subsequent low-temperature hydrogen reduction are presented in this paper. At 300 rpm, with ball to powder weight ratio of 20, single phase nickel-cobalt ferrite is mechanically synthesized for 50 h. The as-milled powder is then subjected to 1 h hydrogen reduction at 700 °C. Hydrogen reduction results in the formation of Fe-16.5%Ni-16.5%Co nano-powders. The phases of the powders are identified by X-ray diffraction (XRD) utilizing Cu Kα radiation. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) are used to study the morphology and the average size of the nano-powder particles. Chemical analysis of the phases present in the reduced sample is determined by electron dispersive spectrometry (EDS). The magnetic properties of the powders are measured by a vibration sample magnetometer (VSM). Results indicate a noticeable change in the magnetic properties of the samples due to Ni0.5Co0.5Fe2O4 compositional change into Fe-16.5Ni-16.5Co nano-powder.  相似文献
