The phase diagram of the ternary system Cr-Mo-O in air was established from the results of thermal analysis of mixtures with different initial CrO3 to MoO3 ratios. It was found that MoO3 did not take any chromium oxide into solid solution. The presence of Cr2O3 destabilized MoO3 causing it to decompose to MoO2 in the temperature range 723-958 K depending on the initial Cr/Mo ratio. The decomposition of pure MoO3 MoO2 did not occur in air at any temperature. However, this decomposition took place through the formation of the compound Cr2O3·3MoO3(ss) and its decomposition to Cr2O3·3MoO2(ss). The latter compound has never been reported before and the X-ray data for this compound are given. The previously reported catalytic activity of Cr2O3·3MoO3(ss), at high temperatures, is presumably due to its reduction to Cr2O3·3MoO2(ss). Electrodeposition of tellurium from metal salt solutions in the presence of phthalic acid and inorganic substances at controlled pH has been investigated. The current density ranged from 0.28 to 11.34 mA cm–2. The percentage cathodic current efficiency was relatively low and increased with increasing concentration of tellurion ions in the bath. The purity of the deposited metal was better than 99%. X-ray diffraction analysis shows that the deposit belongs to the hexagonal structure.  相似文献

Abstract

Amphiphilic polymers (APs) characterized with excellent water solubility, biodegradability, biocompatibility, and low toxicity have become popular materials for biological sensing and imaging in the recent years. Among the several sensing and imaging techniques, fluorescence-based methods show distinct advantages and present unique opportunities to address challenges afforded by other techniques. This review covers five different types of APs (amphiphilic-conjugated polymers, amphiphilic polysaccharides, amphiphilic molecularly imprinted polymers, amphiphilic block copolymers, and amphiphilic polymeric nanoparticles) and their application for fluorescence spectroscopic sensing and imaging, in particular how techniques have been progressed over recent years. Afterwards, the applications of APs in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, water safety and environmental monitoring has been discussed.  相似文献

Quantitative 1H NMR spectroscopic methods are not frequently reported, but current NMR instrumentation allows ready access to such data. Mebeverine HCl is an attractive molecule for NMR spectroscopy teaching purposes as it possesses a variety of simple but significant functional groups; we fully assign its 1H and 13C NMR spectra. Using mebeverine HCl, we show that concentration changes, in water as a solvent, can lead to significant changes in the 1H chemical shifts of non-exchangeable aromatic protons and to a lesser extent to aromatic methoxy protons. An important observation is that different protons migrate to different extents as the concentration of the solute is varied, and thus the 1H NMR spectra are concentration-dependent across a useful range. This chemical shift variation of selected protons was therefore analyzed and applied in the quantitative determination of mebeverine HCl in a medicine (Colofac IBS) formulated as a tablet. Self-association phenomena in water could account for these observed chemical shift migration effects as shown by determining the hydrodynamic radius from the modified form of the Stokes-Einstein equation, and thence the apparent hydrodynamic volume, VH, for mebeverine HCl in D2O solution which is 10-fold greater than that seen in either CDCl3 or CD3OD.  相似文献

Because of their flexibility, recently, much attention has been given to the study of generalized distributions. A complete study of the beta generalized logistic distribution (type IV) is proposed, introducing an approximate form for the median and deducing the mean deviation from the mean and the median. A complete parameter estimation using the method of maximum likelihood and the method of moments is presented. Some characteristic properties of the generalized logistic distribution type I are discussed. Also, a highlight to some properties of an analog distribution to the generalized logistic distribution type IV, discussed by Zografos and Balakrishnan [1], is presented.  相似文献

Tutte proved that every 3‐connected graph G on more than 4 vertices contains a contractible edge. We strengthen this result by showing that every depth‐first‐search tree of G contains a contractible edge. Moreover, we show that every spanning tree of G contains a contractible edge if G is 3‐regular or if G does not contain two disjoint pairs of adjacent degree‐3 vertices.  相似文献

The thermal decomposition of the ferric and nickel acetate salts has been followed. It was found that the heating rate affects the decomposition steps. For a heating rate of 1 K min–1 the product is either Fe2O3 or NiO. For a higher heating rate the suboxides are obtained and reoxidized again on further heating. The decomposition of the mixed salt is an overlap of the DTA for the separate salts but the decomposition reactions are shifted to lower temperatures.We would like to thank Prof. Dr. N. Afify, Phys. The thermal decompositions of nickel(II) nitrate hexahydrate and iron(III) nitrate nonahydrate were followed. It was found that the final decomposition products were NiO at 623 K and Fe2O3 at 523 K, respectively. The two salts exhibited only endothermic peaks and a loss in mass until constant mass was attained. The decomposition reactions and the compounds corresponding to each reaction were established. A heating rate of 1 K min-1 revealed several intermediates; higher heating rates shifted the peaks to higher temperatures. The use of an air flow during decomposition shifted the reactions to lower temperatures. The DTA for the mixed salts was found to be an overlap and the TG a summation of the results for the two individual salts. At 773 K, the decomposition products were composed of three phases: NiO, Fe2O3 and NiFe2O4. When these products were heated to 1773 K, only NiFe2O4 was identified by X-ray diffraction.
