Butadiene was polymerized by catalysts of the type: metal acetylacetonate (metal: Ti to Ni in the periodic table)–triethylaluminum–aluminum halide, with various ratios of triethylaluminum to aluminum halide. The minimum cis content was observed with vanadium catalyst in all cases, while the minimum polymer yields were observed with the iron and the manganese catalysts. These transition metal effects are discussed in terms of the crystal field theory, and it is suggested that the electrostatic interaction between the nearly nonbonding electrons of transition metal atom and a butadiene molecule or a growing end of the polymeric chain plays an important role in the stereoregular polymerization of butadiene by homogeneous Ziegler-Natta catalysts. 相似文献

Pyruvate oxidase (E.C. 1.2.3.3.) is immobilized by adsorption on a wet PVC membrane. Glutamate-pyruvate transaminase activity (5–1600 IU l?1) in serum is determined by a pyruvate oxidase sensor consisting of the immobilized pyruvate oxidase coupled to a platinum electrode for measuring hydrogen peroxide, after an l-alanine—α-ketoglutarate reaction. The assay requires ?60 s, and has a precision of 2–3%. Endogenous pyruvate should not interfere if measurements are made > 30 s after starting the reaction. 相似文献

Whole skin lipid bio-liposomes (skin bio-liposomes), in size ranging from 2 to 8 microns, were prepared by a reverse phase evaporation technique using rat full thickness skin. Leakage of an encapsulated fluorescence probe, ANTS (delta-amino-1,3,6-naphthalene-trisulfonate), was measured by adding transdermal penetration enhancers (penetrants) into the medium where the skin bio-liposomes were present. Oleylamine induced a fast release of ANTS from the liposomes compared to lauryl-amine which showed a weak action. With these penetrants, the degree of ANTS release from the prepared bio-liposomes was found to correlate well with the results of frequency changes in the CH-asymmetric stretching band near 2920 cm-1 in the rat stratum corneum. The penetrant which caused relatively strong leakage of ANTS induced the significantly large shift of the peak toward the higher wave-numbers due to the perturbation in the structure of lipids of the stratum corneum. The skin bio-liposomes prepared from the rat full thickness skin could be useful in evaluating the penetrants. 相似文献

The adsorption affinity of bovine serum albumin (BSA) and lysozyme (LSZ) to calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHAP) was evaluated by desorption and two step adsorption methods. These experiments were carried out at 15°C in a 1×10−4 mol dm−3 KCl solution of pH 6.0. BSA molecules were scarcely desorbed, exhibiting an irreversible adsorption of BSA, though LSZ slightly desorbed. This result supports our previous findings that LSZ adsorbs weakly onto phosphate ions exposed on ac or bc faces of CaHAP while BSA adsorbs strongly onto positively charged sites on ac or bc faces of CaHAP. The amount of adsorbed LSZ was markedly increased by the pre-adsorption of BSA, where LSZ was adsorbed onto BSA-covered CaHAP. On the other hand, the amount of adsorbed BSA was not changed by the pre-adsorption of LSZ. In both pre-adsorption systems it was confirmed by an HPLC method that no protein molecule pre-adsorbed was desorbed after the post-adsorption procedure. Therefore, it was interpreted that the enhancement of adsorption of positively charged LSZ is induced by an electrostatic attractive force through pre-adsorption of negatively charged BSA molecules with a high coverage. However, since the coverage of LSZ onto CaHAP is considerably low, no stimulation of BSA adsorption occurred on the LSZ-covered surface. The process of reduction and reoxidation of cobalt(II) in thiocyanate solution at hanging mercury drop electrode has been investigated by cyclic voltammetric, chronoamperometric and anodic stripping methods. In 0.1 M NaSCN and 0.4 M NaClO4 solution containing 1×10?3M cobalt(II), the voltammogram on the first cycle at 0.05 V s?1 gives a cathodic peak at ?1.06 V with hysteresis on reversal, and an anodic wave with a peak potential of ?0.28 V and with two shoulders near ?0.38 and ?0.45 V, respectively. Multicyclic voltammograms under the same conditions give a cathodic peak at ?0.90 V and an anodic peak at ?0.45 V. The reduction and reoxidation of cobalt(II) in thiocyanate solution is accelerated by the reduction products of thiocyanate ion, cyanide and sulphide ions, which are produced during the electroreduction of cobalt(II).A mechanism of reduction and reoxidation of cobalt(II) which involves a chemical reduction of thiocyanate ion by electroreduced metallic cobalt and takes into account cyanide and sulphide ions is proposed. The hysteresis on the cathodic wave is caused by the difference in reduction potentials of cobalt(II)-thiocyanate and-cyanide complexes. Cyclic voltammetric study of cobalt(II) in perchlorate solution containing trace amounts of cyanide and sulphide ions supports these conclusions. 相似文献

Particles of carbonated barium-calcium hydroxyapatite solid solutions (BaCaHap) with different Ba/(Ba+Ca) (X(Ba)) atomic ratios were prepared by a wet method at 100 degrees C and characterized by various means. The crystal phases and structures of the products strongly depended on the composition of the starting solution, that is, the Ba/(Ba+Ca) atomic ratio ([X(Ba)]) and H3PO4 concentration ([H3PO4]) in the solution. BaCaHap with X(Ba)0.43 could be prepared at [X(Ba)]0.7 by changing [H3PO4], but could never be obtained at [X(Ba)]=0.8-0.95 regardless of [H3PO4]. The carbonated calcium hydroxyapatite particles prepared at [X(Ba)]=0 were fine and short rod-shaped particles (ca. 14x84 nm). With increasing [X(Ba)] from 0 to 0.8, the particles obtained became large spherical agglomerates. The carbonated barium hydroxyapatite particles formed at [X(Ba)]=1 were long rod-shaped agglomerates (ca. 0.2x2 microm) of fine primary particles. The amount of CO2 adsorbed irreversibly on a series of BaCaHaps showed a minimum at (Ba+Ca)/(P+C) atomic ratio of around 1.56, which agreed well with the minimum cation/P ratio obtained for the other hydroxyapatites, as already reported. 相似文献

The deracemization of racemic amines to yield enantioenriched amines using S‐stereoselective amine oxidases (AOx) has recently been attracting attention. However, R‐stereoselective AOx that are suitable for deracemization have not yet been identified. An R‐stereoselective AOx was now evolved from porcine kidney D ‐amino acid oxidase (pkDAO) and subsequently use for the deracemization of racemic amines. The engineered pkDAO, which was obtained by directed evolution, displayed a markedly changed substrate specificity towards R amines. The mutant enzyme exhibited a high preference towards the substrate α‐methylbenzylamine and was used to synthesize the S amine through deracemization. The findings of this study indicate that further investigations on the structure–activity relationship of AOx are warranted and also provide a new method for biotransformations in organic synthesis. 相似文献

A novel crystal of Ba6Ce2Au4Si42 with Ba and Ce encapsulated into silicon-polyhedral clusters is self-assembled from the state of elemental mixture. Each atom in the crystal is arranged in its well-defined position with a nanoscale period, causing unique interactions between the conduction and the magnetic electrons originating from the independent sources of Ba and Ce, respectively. In this system, the long-distant magnetic f electrons can interact with each other through nanoscale spacing with isotropic three dimensionality, leading to the occurrence of a unique spontaneous spin ordering at 6.5 K. 相似文献

Summary The chromatographic efficiency and stability of a new octadecyl-bonded polymer (ODP) gel, developed for reversed phase liquid
chromatography (RPLC) by substitution of stearate ester groups for the hydroxyl groups of vinyl alcohol copolymer particles,
were investigated and compared with those of conventional gels. The efficiency of the column packed with the ODP gel was practically
unaffected by repeated alternating passages of distilled water and acetonitrile, apparently because the gel volume was affected
similarly by both solvents. Like conventional ODS columns, the ODP column demonstrated a close correlation between log k’
(capacity factor) and carbon atom number in alkyl alcohols in accordance with Martin’s rule and H ∼ 4 dp, thus indicating
a high column efficiency for these alcohols. The capacity factor of the ODP column for pyridine with acidic eluent was smaller
