Generalized green operator for an impulsive boundary-value problem with switchings

Modification of silica gels with small admixtures of titanium ions

Microporous silica gels containing small amounts of titanium ions are synthesized. Addition of Ti ions to the silica gels during the sol-forming step is demonstrated to increase the specific surface area and decrease the volume of sorptive pores. A desorption mass spectrometry study of the interaction of cinnamic acid with a silica surface

The interaction of cinnamic acid with the surface of highly dispersed silica is studied. The mechanisms of adsorption, chemisorption, and thermal transformations of cinnamic acid on the silica surface are proposed. The kinetic parameters of the chemical reactions on the surface of silica are calculated.     

Synthesis of Polysiloxane Xerogels Using Tetraethoxysilane/(Diethylphosphatoethyl)triethoxysilane System

The xerogels, containing phosphonic acid groups ≡Si(CH₂)₂P(O)(OC₂H₅)₂ in the surface layer of their particles, are synthesized by the sol-gel method (ethanol as a solvent and fluoride ion as a catalyst). It is shown that, when 2 : 1, 3 : 1, and 4 : 1 tetraethoxysilane/(diethylphosphatoethyl)triethoxysilane ratios are used, nonporous substances are formed, whereas, at 6 : 1, 8 : 1, and 10 : 1 ratios, the xerogels with highly porous structures are produced (the specific surface area is 505–534 m²/g, the sorption pore volume is 0.34–0.53 cm³/g, and the pore diameter is 3.6–4.6 nm).     

Exciplex photonics on aerosil surface

A photochemical model reaction between anthracene and N,N-diethylaniline on aerosil has been studied. It is found that the nature of the surface is responsible for the mechanism of intermolecular interaction (dynamic or static one).     

Gas-chromatographic analysis of alkylated derivatives of carane and of cycloheptane in capillary columns

The retention indices of synthesized alkyl derivatives of carane and of cycloheptane in capillary columns with tricresyl phosphate and squalane at 70°C have been determined. The influence of the structure of the hydrocarbons studied on the values of their retention parameters is considered. An estimate is given of the nature of the interrelationship between the physical properties of these hydrocarbons and their retention indices on a nonpolar stationary phase.     

Laser-Induced Electron-Transfer Processes in a Pyrene–β-Cyclodextrin Complex in Titanosilicate Systems

We have used fluorescent spectroscopy and laser flash photolysis to investigate the photonics of pyrene molecules in a pyrene–-cyclodextrin inclusion complex in various media. We have observed a protective effect of -cyclodextrin relative to solubilized pyrene molecules during quenching of fluorescence by Ti ions (or titanium dioxide particles) in mixed colloids. In the presence of a precursor of silica (a TEOS solution), the pyrene molecules react with the colloidal silica particles formed, and the reaction is accompanied by decomposition of the pyrene–-cyclodextrin inclusion complex and efficient photoionization of pyrene.
