Carboranyl aldehydes react with alpha,beta-unsaturated esters, ketones, and nitriles in the presence of DABCO to provide functionalized carboranyl alcohols in good yields. Acetates of these alcohols undergo a facile isomerization with a variety of nucleophiles and afford structurally interesting carboranes. Biological evaluation of these molecules exhibited impressive antiproliferative activity for brain and breast cancer cells.  相似文献

Perovskite type oxides, sodium bismuth titanate (Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3), and Ag+, Cu2+, and Sn2+ doped Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 were prepared by pechini and ion exchange methods, respectively. Photocatalytic activities of these catalysts were tested by decomposition of methylene blue (MB) under visible light irradiation. Results showed that the photocatalytic activity of metal ion doped Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 was higher than undoped Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3. Relatively high photocatalytic performance of Ag+‐doped Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 is mainly ascribed to the efficient separation of electron‐hole (e, h+) pairs, lower bandgap energy and the creation of active hydroxyl radicals ( ? OH). Further, the Ag+‐doped Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 catalyst showed good reusability up to four cycles. A possible mechanism for the enhanced photocatalytic performance was proposed. The synthesized photocatalysts were characterized by XRD, SEM, EDS, XPS, FT‐IR, and UV/Vis DRS techniques.  相似文献

The titanium tetrachloride mediated reaction of alpha-keto esters with 5,5-dimethylcyclohex-2-enone provides the corresponding Baylis-Hillman adducts exclusively whereas a similar reaction of alpha-keto esters with cyclohex-2-enone furnishes the corresponding aldol adducts (with high syn-diasteroeselectivity) as the major product (along with the Baylis-Hillman adducts as the minor product), thus clearly demonstrating the role of the steric factors in directing the reaction pathway.  相似文献

Five new lignans isolated from Gmelina arborea Linn have been characterised. The parent compound arboreol, is 2a,6e-dipiperonyl-1e,2e-dihydroxy-3,7-dioxabicyclo-[3,3,0]-octane. It is accompanied by its 2-O-methyl ether, the 2-O-ethyl ether and its 2-epimer, isoarboreol,. The fifth substance, gmelanone, is the first reported example of a lignan derived from 3,6-dioxabicyclo-[3,2,1]-octane.  相似文献
