Hofmann-type modified clathrate hosts containing 2- or 3-chloropyridine molecules attached to metal (II) tetracyanocadmate frame, with a given formula: M(Clpy)2Cd(CN)4 where M = Mn, Ni or Cd; Clpy = 2- or 3-chloropyridine, have been synthesised for the first time. Their FT-IR spectra are reported in the 400–4000 cm-1 region. All the vibrational modes of coordinated Clpy are characterised. The spectral features of the compounds studied are found to be similar to each other indicating that they have analogous structures. The coordination effect on the Clpy modes is analyzed. 相似文献

Cadmium selenide quantum dots with cubic crystal structure are chemically deposited in thin film form using selenosulfate as a precursor for selenide ions and ammonia buffer with double role: as a ligand and as a pH value controller. The optical band gap energies of as-deposited and thermally treated cadmium selenide thin films, calculated within the framework of parabolic approximation for the dispersion relation, on the basis of equations which arise from the Fermi's golden rule for electronic transitions from valence to conduction band, are 2.08 and 1.77 eV, correspondingly. The blue shift of band gap energy of 0.34 eV for as-deposited thin films with respect to the bulk value is due to the quantum size effects (i.e., nanocrystals behave as quantum dots) and this finding is in agreement with the theoretical predictions. During the thermal treatment the nanocrystals are sintered, the increase of crystal size being in correlation with the decrease of band gap energy. The annealed thin films are practically non-quantized. From the resistance-temperature measurements, on the basis of the dependence of ln(R/Ω) vs 1/T in the region of intrinsic conduction, the thermal band gap energy (at 0 K) of 1.85 eV was calculated. 相似文献

Summary Amperometric and potentiometric methods at a small constant current were developed to follow the course of catalytic titrations. In ammoniacal medium EDTA was determined by titration with 0.1 M copper(II) chloride in the presence of hydrogen peroxide as the indicator. Amounts of 42.26–126.87 mg of EDTA were determined with a maximal average deviation of 0.55 %. The results obtained are in good agreement with those of comparable methods.
Bestimmung von ÄDTA mit Hilfe der katalytischen amperometrischen und der katalytischen potentiometrischen Titration bei kleinem konstantem Strom
Zusammenfassung Die amperometrische und die potentiometrische Methode bei kleinem konstantem Strom wurden für die Verfolgung katalytischer Titrationen ausgearbeitet. ÄDTA wurde in Ammoniakmedium mit 0,1 M Kupfer(II)-chlorid in Anwesenheit von Wasserstoffperoxid als Indicator titriert. Mengen von 42,26–126,87 mg ÄDTA wurden mit einer mittleren Abweichung von 0,55% bestimmt. Die Ergebnisse stimmen gut mit denen vergleichbarer Methoden überein.

The kinetics of the complex formation reactions of two [(TL tBu)PtCl]+ and [Pt(tpdm)Cl]+ complexes (TL tBu = 2,6-bis[(1,3-di-tert-butylimidazolin-2-imino)methyl]pyridine and tpdm = terpyridinedimethane) with N-donor ligands, l-histidine (L-His), inosine (Ino), inosine-5′-monophosphate (5′-IMP) and guanosine-5′-monophosphate (5′-GMP), were studied. All reactions were studied under pseudo-first-order conditions as a function of nucleophile concentration and temperature in aqueous 0.1 M NaClO4 solution in the presence of 10 mM NaCl using variable-temperature Uv–Vis spectrophotometry. The order of reactivity of the studied ligands is L-His > Ino > 5′-GMP > 5′-IMP. This order of reactivity is in relation to their electronic properties and structures. The mechanism of the substitution reactions is associative in nature as supported by the negative entropy of activation. 相似文献

Vascular calcification contributes to the pathogenesis of coronary artery disease while matrix Gla protein (MGP) was recently identified as a potent inhibitor of vascular calcification. MGP fractions, such as dephosphorylated-uncarboxylated MGP (dp-ucMGP), lack post-translational modifications and are less efficient in vascular calcification inhibition. We sought to compare dp-ucMGP levels between patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS), stratified by ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) and non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) status. Physical examination and clinical data, along with plasma dp-ucMGP levels, were obtained from 90 consecutive ACS patients. We observed that levels of dp-ucMGP were significantly higher in patients with NSTEMI compared to STEMI patients (1063.4 ± 518.6 vs. 742.7 ± 166.6 pmol/L, p < 0.001). NSTEMI status and positive family history of cardiovascular diseases were only independent predictors of the highest tertile of dp-ucMGP levels. Among those with NSTEMI, patients at a high risk of in-hospital mortality (adjudicated by GRACE score) had significantly higher levels of dp-ucMGP compared to non-high-risk patients (1417.8 ± 956.8 vs. 984.6 ± 335.0 pmol/L, p = 0.030). Altogether, our findings suggest that higher dp-ucMGP levels likely reflect higher calcification burden in ACS patients and might aid in the identification of NSTEMI patients at increased risk of in-hospital mortality. Furthermore, observed dp-ucMGP levels might reflect differences in atherosclerotic plaque pathobiology between patients with STEMI and NSTEMI. 相似文献

The synthesis of novel triphenyltin(IV) compounds, Ph3SnLn (n = 1–3), with oxaprozin (3-(4,5-diphenyloxazol-2-yl)propanoic acid), HL1, and the new propanoic acid derivatives 3-(4,5-bis(4-methoxylphenyl)oxazol-2-yl)propanoic acid, HL2, and 3-(2,5-dioxo-4,4-diphenylimidazolidin-1-yl)propanoic acid, HL3, has been performed. The ligands represent commercial drugs or their derivatives and the tin complexes have been characterized by standard analytical methods. The in vitro antiproliferative activity of both ligands and organotin(IV) compounds has been evaluated on the following tumour cell lines: human prostate cancer (PC-3), human colorectal adenocarcinoma (HT-29), breast cancer (MCF-7), and hepatocellular cancer (HepG2), as well as on normal mouse embryonic fibroblast cells (NIH3T3) with the aid of MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-12 diphenyltetrazolium bromide) and CV (crystal violet) assays. Contrary to the inactive ligand precursors, all organotin(IV) carboxylates showed very good activity with IC50 values ranging from 0.100 to 0.758 µM. According to the CV assay (IC50 = 0.218 ± 0.025 µM), complex Ph3SnL1 demonstrated the highest cytotoxicity against the caspase 3 deficient MCF-7 cell line. Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) analysis indicated a two-fold lower concentration of tin in MCF-7 cells in comparison to platinum. To investigate the mechanism of action of the compound Ph3SnL1 on MCF-7 cells, morphological, autophagy and cell cycle analysis, as well as the activation of caspase and ROS/RNS and NO production, has been performed. In order to calculate the structural and compositional characteristics of microemulsions, used as eluents in the investigation of HPLC separation of simvastatin and its six impurities, predictive molecular thermodynamic approach is developed. For calculating fundamental interfacial properties of microemulsions, from pure component properties, the lattice fluid self-consistent field theory (SCF), in conjunction with new classical thermodynamic expressions, was applied. Calculation of predicted radii (PR), area per surfactant (ApS) and film thickness (FT), as well as is interfacial tension and bending moment enabled better understanding of separation of such a complex mixture. The microemulsion, which contained 1% (w/w) of diisopropyl ether, 2% (w/w) of sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS), 6.6% (w/w) of co-surfactant such as n-butanol and 90.4% (w/w) of aqueous 25 mM disodium phosphate pH 7.0 enabled appropriate chromatographic separation between investigated compounds. It has been proved that this microemulsion had the smallest droplet radii and film thickness, which enabled optimal separation. Also the interfacial tension is the smallest, so the free energy change associated with dispersing the drops favoured a large number of small droplets. Hydrophobic interactions between solutes and stationary phase, as well as the microstructural characteristics of microemulsion eluents had a significant influence on chromatographic behavior of simvastatin and its six impurities. 相似文献

Di-2-pyridylketoxime is proposed for the spectrophotometric determination of iron(II). The complex is stable and exhibits an absorption maximum at 534 nm in an alkaline citrate medium. Beer's law is obeyed and the molar absorptivity is 1.5·103. Large amounts of copper and nickel can be tolerated. The method is simple, convenient and reproducible. 相似文献

The shape of the newly described torocyte red blood cell endovesicles induced by octaethyleneglycol dodecylether (C12E8) is characterized. A possible explanation for the origin and stability of the observed torocyte endovesicles is suggested. Three partly complementary mechanisms are outlined, all originating from the interaction of C12E8 molecules with the membrane. The first is a preferential intercalation of the C12E8 molecule into the inner membrane layer, resulting in a membrane invagination which may finally close, forming an inside-out endovesicle. The second is a preference of the C12E8-induced membrane inclusions (clusters) for small local curvature which would favour torocyte endovesicle shape with large regions of small or even negative membrane mean curvatures, the C12E8 membrane inclusion being defined as a complex composed of the embedded C12E8 molecule and some adjacent phospholipid molecules which are significantly distorted due to the presence of the embedded C12E8 molecule. The preference of the C12E8 inclusions for zero or negative local curvature may also lead to the nonhomogeneous lateral distribution of the C12E8 inclusions resulting in their accumulation in the membrane of torocyte endovesicles. The third possible mechanism is orientational ordering of the C12E8-induced inclusions in the regions of torocyte endovesicles with high local membrane curvature deviator. 相似文献
