Thermogravimetry-mass spectrometry (TG-MS) was used to study the effect of the inorganic salts (NH4)2SO4 and (NH4)2HPO4, active substances of many commercial forest fire retardants, on the pyrolysis of Pinus halepensis needles and their main components (cellulose, lignin and extractives). These salts seemed to affect the pyrolysis of cellulose by increasing significantly the char residue, decreasing the pyrolysis temperature and changing the composition of the evolved gases, that is, increasing levoglucosenone and decreasing oxygen containing volatile products. (NH4)2SO4 seemed to have negligible effect on the pyrolysis of lignin, while (NH4)2HPO4 increased the char residue and decrease the relative contribution of guaiacols in the evolved gases. No effects of the inorganic salts on the extractives were observed. Finally, the inorganic salts seemed to affect the pyrolysis of pine-needles, mainly the cellulose component, but the effects were not as intense as in the pyrolysis of cellulose.  相似文献

Trimethylsilyl ethers of various hydroxyl-containing thiazole derivatives have been synthesized. The psychotropic activity (in vivo) and the cytotoxicity (in vitro on tumor cell lines HT-1080 and MG-22A) of these ethers and of their unsilylated precursors have been studied. It was discovered that the obtained compounds possess a sedative action. A moderate cytotoxic effect was detected for piperidine-containing thiazoles, displayed most strongly in relation to MG-22A cells.  相似文献

On the basis of computer prediction of biological activity by PASS and toxicity by DEREK, the most prospective 18 alkylaminoacyl derivatives of 3-amino-benzo-[d]-isothiazole were selected. Their local anesthetic action was assessed using an in vitro preparation of the isolated peroneal nerve of the frog. The local anesthetics action of the compounds was assessed according to the time required for each compound to reduce the amplitude of the evoked compound action potential (CAP). Lidocaine was used as the control compound. The results show that the tested compounds can be divided into three groups: (a) compounds with action similar to lidocaine, (b) compounds with action lower than lidocaine and (c) compounds which block completely the evoked CAP, but after the compound was removed and replaced with normal saline showed no recovery of the potential at all. QSAR studies showed that polarizability, polarity and presence of five-membered rings in molecules have a positive influence on local anesthetic activity, while contributions of aromatic CH and singly bonded nitrogen are negative. Since estimations from PASS probabilities to find local anesthetic activity in the most active compounds were less than 50%, these compounds may be considered as new chemical entities (NCEs).  相似文献

Eordaia basin located in northwest of Greece, comprises an area which is characterized by intense energy related activities, including coal burning at four power plants and the associated mining operations. Air samples of inhalable (PM10) and respirable particles (PM2.5) were collected in cold and warm periods in 2010 at an urban background site of Kozani, the major city and capital of the region which is located close to the power plants. Particulate matter concentration, particle-bound polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and anionic species concentrations were determined using gravimetric, GC-MS in SIM mode and Ion Chromatography analysis, respectively. For the cold period, the mean PM10 and PM2.5 mass concentration was found to be 19.62 and 14.68 µg m?3, respectively. Correspondingly, for the warm period, the mean PM10 and PM2.5 values were 35.29 and 25.75 µg m?3, respectively. In general, the results indicated that the major sources of air pollution in Kozani are traffic, combustion from agricultural activities and lignite power plants emissions, contributing by different percentages to each particle fraction.   相似文献

Background: Thiazole is a good pharmacophore nucleus due to its various pharmaceutical applications. Its derivatives have a wide range of biological activities such as antioxidant, analgesic, and antimicrobial including antibacterial, antifungal, antimalarial, anticancer, antiallergic, antihypertensive, anti-inflammatory, and antipsychotic. Indeed, the thiazole scaffold is contained in more than 18 FDA-approved drugs as well as in numerous experimental drugs. Objective: To summarize recent literature on the biological activities of thiazole ring-containing compounds Methods: A literature survey regarding the topics from the year 2015 up to now was carried out. Older publications were not included, since they were previously analyzed in available peer reviews. Results: Nearly 124 research articles were found, critically analyzed, and arranged regarding the synthesis and biological activities of thiazoles derivatives in the last 5 years.  相似文献

Background: Neurotic disturbances, anxiety, neurosis-like disorders, and stress situations are widespread. Benzodiazepine tranquillizers have been found to be among the most effective antianxiety drugs. The pharmacological action of benzodiazepines is due to their interaction with the supra-molecular membrane GABA-a-benzodiazepine receptor complex, linked to the Cl-ionophore. Benzodiazepines enhance GABA-ergic transmission and this has led to a study of the role of GABA in anxiety. The search for anxiolytics and anticonvulsive agents has involved glutamate-ergic, 5HT-ergic substances and neuropeptides. However, each of these well-known anxiolytics, anticonvulsants and cognition enhancers (nootropics) has repeatedly been reported to have many adverse side effects, therefore there is an urgent need to search for new drugs able to restore damaged cognitive functions without causing significant adverse reactions. Objective: Considering the relevance of epilepsy diffusion in the world, we have addressed our attention to the discovery of new drugs in this field Thus our aim is the synthesis and study of new compounds with antiepileptic (anticonvulsant) and not only, activity. Methods: For the synthesis of compounds classical organic methods were used and developed. For the evaluation of biological activity some anticonvulsant and psychotropic methods were used. Results: As a result of multistep reactions 26 new, five-membered heterocyclic systems were obtained. PASS prediction of anticonvulsant activity was performed for the whole set of the designed molecules and probability to be active Pa values were ranging from 0.275 to 0.43. The studied compounds exhibit protection against pentylenetetrazole (PTZ) seizures, anti-thiosemicarbazides effect as well as some psychotropic effect. The biological assays evidenced that some of the studied compounds showed a high anticonvulsant activity by antagonism with pentylenetetrazole. The toxicity of compounds is low and they do not induce muscle relaxation in the studied doses. According to the study of psychotropic activity it was found that the selected compounds have an activating behavior and anxiolytic effects on the models of “open field” and “elevated plus maze” (EPM). The data obtained indicate the anxiolytic (anti-anxiety) activity of the derivatives of pyrimidines, especially pronounced in compounds 6n, 6b, and 7c. The studied compounds increase the latent time of first immobilization on the model of “forced swimming” (FST) and exhibit some antidepressant effect similarly to diazepam. Docking studies revealed that compound 6k bound tightly in the active site of GABAA receptor with a value of the scoring function that estimates free energy of binding (ΔG) at −7.95 kcal/mol, while compound 6n showed the best docking score and seems to be dual inhibitor of SERT transporter as well as 5-HT1A receptor. Conclusions: Тhe selected compounds have an anticonvulsant, activating behavior and anxiolytic effects, at the same time exhibit some antidepressant effect.  相似文献

A new di‐tert‐butyl acrylate (diTBA) monomer for controlled radical polymerization is reported. This monomer complements the classical use of tert‐butyl acrylate (TBA) for synthesis of poly(acrylic acid) by increasing the density of carboxylic acids per repeat unit, while also increasing the flexibility of the carboxylic acid side‐chains. The monomer is well behaved under Cu(II)‐mediated photoinduced controlled radical polymerization and delivers polymers with excellent chain‐end fidelity at high monomer conversions. Importantly, this new diTBA monomer readily copolymerizes with TBA to further the potential for applications in areas such as dispersing agents and adsorbents. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J.
