A fast, sensitive and reliable method for the indirect atomic absorption determination of SiO2 in copper composite coatings after extraction of silicomolybdic acid in a mixture of isobutyl methyl ketone and butanol (volume ratio 5?:?1) and measurement of the molybdenum absorbance in an air/acetylene flame is described. The experimental conditions are optimized for (i) prevention of the silicon polymerization during sample preparation and storage; (ii) for overcoming of the Cu(SiF6) – complex formation and (iii) for quantitative extraction of the yellow complex into the organic phase for a wide silicon concentration range. The method permits the determination of 0.5–10 mg/g Si in copper. The analytical performance of the proposed method is compared with direct Si determination using ICP-AES.  相似文献

A synergetic extraction system isoamyl alcohol-methylisobutylketone for the quantitative separation of platinum as a matrix component from the attending microimpurities is developed. The influence of the different factors on the extraction efficiency is studied. At optimum conditions, the platinum extraction is over 99%; Al, Ca, Mg, Mn, Ni, Cr are quantitatively retained in the aqueous phase. Cu and Pb are partially extracted but the distribution coefficients are constant, independent of the metals concentration. Investigations are made to explain the synergetic extraction mechanism. This method is recommended for the concentration of microimpurity elements in the analysis of pure platinum.  相似文献

Ir, Rh and Ru are separated from a large excess of platinum by extraction with isoamyl alcohol-isobutyl methyl ketone mixture. Summary INAA and flame AAS have been used for the analysis of a large number of vegetable reference materials. Out of all determined elements (28 by INAA and 11 by AAS) nine are common for both methods (Ca, Cd, Co, Cu, Fe, Mg, Mn, Na, Zn) and for these the possibilities of the two methods have been compared.  相似文献

This note proposes a method for the optimization of flame atomic absorption spectrometric procedures. The criterion is the interference effect of (a) concomitant(s). The variables are the instrumental parameters and the concentration(s) of (a) releasing agent(s). The note describes the mathematical model and consider the determination of chromium in the presence of iron as an example. The releasing agents are NH4Cl, NH4F, or NH4NO3. A sensitive and reliable ETAAS determination of metal traces in high purity silver after total (Bi, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb) and partial (As, Hg, Sb, Se) separation of the matrix with ascorbic acid is described.
