The electrochemical oxidation of 2,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid (1) has been studied in the presence of 1,3-cyclopentadiene (2) as a diene in water/ethanol (40/60, v/v) mixture using cyclic voltammetry and controlled-potential coulometry. A plausible mechanism for the oxidation of 1 in the presence of 2 is presented. Compound 1 was converted into bis-adduct 5 via electrooxidation, Diels-Alder reaction of 2 to anodically generated 3,6-dioxocyclohexa-1,4-dienecarboxylic acid (1ox), decarboxylation reaction, electrooxidation and Diels-Alder reaction. The electrochemical synthesis of 5 was performed in a onepot reaction, without toxic reagents, at a carbon electrode in a simple cell using an environmentally friendly method.  相似文献

A simple, rapid, highly efficient, and reliable sample preparation method has been developed for the extraction and analysis of triazole pesticides from cucumber, lettuce, bell pepper, cabbage, and tomato samples. This new sorbent in the hollow‐fiber solid‐phase microextraction method is based on the synthesis of polyethylene glycol‐polyethylene glycol grafted flower‐like cupric oxide nanoparticles using sol–gel technology. Afterward, the analytes were analyzed by high‐performance liquid chromatography with ultraviolet detection. The main parameters that affect microextraction efficiency were evaluated and optimized. This method has afforded good linearity ranges (0.5–50 000 ng/mL for hexaconazol, 0.012–50 000 ng/mL for penconazol, and 0.02–50 000 ng/mL for diniconazol), adequate precision (2.9–6.17%, n = 3), batch‐to‐batch reproducibility (4.33–8.12%), and low instrumental LODs between 0.003 and 0.097 ng/mL (n = 8). Recoveries and enrichment factors were 85.46–97.47 and 751–1312%, respectively.  相似文献

Electrochemical oxidation of hydroquinone, catechol, and some of their monosubstituted derivatives has been studied in the presence of 3-hydroxy-1H-phenalen-1-one (2) as a nucleophile in water/acetonitrile (80/20) solutions using cyclic voltammetry and controlled-potential coulometry methods. The results revealed that quinones derived from oxidation of hydroquinones and catechols participate in Michael addition reactions with 2. The formed adducts convert to the corresponding benzofuran derivatives via different mechanisms. In this work, we derived a variety of products with good yields using controlled potential electrochemical oxidation at a graphite electrode in an undivided cell.  相似文献

In this work, a molecular sol–gel imprinting approach has been introduced to produce a fiber coating for selective direct immersion solid-phase microextraction (SPME) of caffeine. The polymerization mixture was composed of vinyl trimethoxysilane and methacrylic acid as vinyl sol–gel precursor and functional monomer, respectively. Caffeine was used as template molecule during polymerization process. The prepared fibers could be coupled directly to gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) and used for trace analysis of caffeine in a complex sample such as human serum. The parameters influencing SPME such as time, temperature and stirring speed were optimized. The prepared coating showed good selectivity towards caffeine in the presence of some structurally related compounds. Also, it offered high imprinting capability in comparison to bare fiber and non-imprinted coating. Linear range for caffeine detection was 1–80 μg mL−1 and the limit of detection was 0.1 μg mL−1. The intra-day and inter-day precisions of the peak areas for five replicates were 10 and 16%, respectively.  相似文献
