New approaches have been developed for the application of cyanamino-sym-triazines in the synthesis of imidazolidinyl-sym-triazines.     

Synthesis of Substituted 2-Methyl-4-quinolyl Isothiocyanates and 4-Mercaptoquinolines

Synthesis was performed of substituted 2-methyl-4-quinoline thiouronium salts by reaction of 2-methyl-4-chloroquinolines with thiourea. On the basis property of eigenfunctions of the Frankl problem with a nonlocal parity condition of the second kind

In the present paper, we write out the eigenvalues and the corresponding eigenfunctions of the modified Frankl problem with a nonlocal parity condition of the second kind. We analyze the completeness, the basis property, and the minimality of the eigenfunctions depending on the parameter of the problem.     

Synthesis of N-cyano-N-alkoxycarbonylalkylamino-symm-triazines and their solvolysis

The action of potassium salts of cyanoamino-symm-triazines on esters of chloroacetic and bromomalonic acids gave carbonylalkylamino-symm-triazines. Synthesis of 2-Methyl-4-quinolyl Isothiocyanate

A procedure has been developed for the synthesis of substituted 2-methylquinolin-4-ylthiuronium salts by reaction of 2-methyl-4-chloroquinoline with N-substituted thioureas. Alkaline hydrolysis of these salts yields 2-methyl-4-quinolyl isothiocyanate instead of the expected 2-methylquinoline-4-thiol.     

Benzyl bromide addition to pentafluorobenzaldehyde by Zaitsev-Barbier reaction promoted with complex systems underlain by iron pentacarbonyl

Iron pentacarbonyl promots addition of benzyl bromide to benzaldehydes by Zaitsev-Barbier reaction only in the presence of nucleophilic additives [HMPT or (S)-N-benzoyl-2-methoxycarbonylpyrrolidine].
