Evolving into Magnetars from Normal Pulsars with a Low Braking Index

Anomalous x-ray pulsars （AXPs） and soft gamma-ray repeaters （SCRs） are believed to be candidates for magnetars, and they are powered by the decay of ultra-strong magnetic fields of〉 1014 C. From the modified spin-down relation of pulsars P ∝P^2-n, we find that the Vela pulsar would evolve into the classes of magnetars under some assumptions that pulsars lose their rotational energy only by magnetic dipole radiation and the braking index is a constant. Our rough calculation indicates that only pulsars with n - 1.3 - 1.6 can evolve into magnetars. Pulsars like Vela with a low braking index may be the progenitors of AXPs and SCRs. Regarding the mechanism evolved into magnetars, we suggest that pulsars＇ surface magnetic field component may be increased by frequent glitches.     

A New Conserved Quantity Corresponding to Mei Symmetry of Tzenoff Equations for Nonholonomic Systems

A new conserved quantity is investigated by utilizing the definition and discriminant equation of Mei symmetry of Tzénoff equations for nonholonomic systems. 机动目标被动声定位仿真研究

针对基于时延估计的空中机动目标定位与跟踪的算法仿真问题,提出一种以时变时延信号产生算法为基础的仿真方法.该算法利用FIR滤波器线性相位特性,使模拟的目标信号通过时变FIR滤波器产生相对输入信号有时变时延的输出信号.在考虑了目标的机动、干扰信号、环境噪声以及信噪比后构造出模拟的阵列接收信号,通过定位算法得到目标方位.仿真表明该方法能较好地完成对基于时延估计的被动声定位算法的评估,并具有广泛的适用性和实用性.
