This paper proposes a scheme for realization of a three-qubit
Toffoli gate operation using three four-level atoms by a selective
atom--field interaction in a cavity quantum electrodynamics system. In
the proposed protocol, the quantum information is encoded on the
stable ground states of atoms, and atomic spontaneous emission is
negligible as the large atom--cavity detuning effectively suppresses
the spontaneous decay of the atoms. The influence of the dissipation
on fidelity and success probability of the three-qubit Toffoli gate
is also discussed. The scheme can also be applied to realize an
N-qubit Toffoli gate and the interaction time required does not
rise with increasing the number of qubits. 相似文献

Simple schemes for generation of W-type multipartite entangled states and realization of quantum- information concentration 下载免费PDF全文
We propose simple schemes for generating W-type multipartite entangled states in cavity quantum electrodynamics (CQED). Our schemes involve a largely detuned interaction of Λ-type three-level atoms with a single-mode cavity field and a classical laser, and both the symmetric and asymmetric W states can be created in a single step. Our schemes are insensitive to both the cavity decay and atomic spontaneous emission. With the above system, we also propose a scheme for realizing quantum-information concentration which is the reverse process of quantum cloning. In this scheme, quantum-information originally coming from a single qubit, but now distributed into many qubits, is concentrated back to a single qubit in only one step. 相似文献

Superposed Transparency Effect and Entanglement Generation with Hybrid System of Photonic Molecule and Dipole Emitter 下载免费PDF全文
We theoretically investigate the transparency effect with a hybrid system composed of a photonic molecule and dipole emitter. It is shown that the transparency effect incorporates both the coupled resonator-induced transparency(CRIT) effect and the dipole-induced transparency(DIT) effect. It is found that the superposed transparency windows are consistently narrower than the CRIT and DIT transparency windows. Benefiting from the superposed transparency effect, the photonic Faraday rotation effect could be realized in the photonic molecule system, which is useful for entanglement generation and quantum information processing. 相似文献

We demonstrate that multipartite Bell-inequalities violations can be fully destroyed in finite time in three-qubit states under a quantum-critical environment, which is an Ising model in a transverse field. We use the Mermin--Ardehali--Belinksii--Klyshko (MABK) inequality to detect the degree of nonlocality as measured by the extent of their violations. The effects of system-environment couplings, the size of degrees of freedom of environment and the strength of transverse field on the Bell-inequality violations are given for two different initial states, namely, the W class and GHZ class states. The results indicate that the Bell-inequality violations of the tripartite states will be completely destroyed by the decoherence under certain conditions. 相似文献

This paper investigates the thermal pairwise entanglement of a
three-qubit Heisenberg XXZ chain in the presence of the
Dzyaloshinski--Moriya (DM) anisotropic antisymmetric interaction and
quantum teleportation when using the Heisenberg chain as a channel.
The entanglement dependences on the DM interaction and temperature
are given in detail. It obtains the relation between the concurrence
and average fidelity, and shows that the same concurrence can lead
different average fidelities. Moreover, it finds the thermally
entangled states which do not violate the Bell inequalities, and can

Feasible schemes for implementing quantum swap gates of both coherent-state qubits and photonic qubits are proposed using a Λ-type atomic ensemble trapped in a bimodal optical cavity. In both protocols, the decoherence from atomic spontaneous emission is negligible due to the fact that the excited states of the atoms are adiabatically eliminated under large detuning condition and the swap gates can be created in a single step. In our schemes, the required atoms-cavity interaction time decreases with the increase of the number of atoms, which is very important in view of decoherence. The experimental feasibilities of the schemes are also discussed. 相似文献
