It is shown that the various single-particle wave functions used to reproduce the charge form factor of 4He nucleus contain a large amount of center-of-mass motion spuriousity, so that the good fit to the experimental data obtained with these wave functions is only due to the way the center-of-mass motion coordinate was removed rather than to the characteristics of the model.  相似文献

A novel method for measuring properties of grainy materials using a two-polarization scattering measurement combined with free-space phase measurement is introduced. The theoretical background of the measurement method is presented. Laboratory measurements of the depolarized scattering cross sections of white rice, green lentils, polystyrene beads, polyethylene beads, and their mixtures at 10 and 35 GHz using a vector network analyzer and two horn antennas are then presented. Results are compared with those based on the first-order multiple scattering theory. A low-cost set-up for industrial measurements is suggested  相似文献

The energy of nuclear and neutron matter is calculated within the framework of the variational approach including the contribution from three-body clusters. Two types of constrains for the two-body correlation function and realistic S-wave forces are used. It is shown that the energy strongly depends upon the type of constraint and that the variational calculation may lead to much more energy than the lowest order Brueckner theory calculations.  相似文献

Poly(ethylene glycols) (PEGs) are widely used water soluble and biocompatible polymers. PEGs are suitable as paracellular probes in biomembrane permeability studies because they are hydrophilic and various oligomers have defined molecular sizes. In previous studies corneal and conjunctival permeability for neutral PEGs has been measured, and the results were used to calculate the number and size of the cellular pores. In this study we have developed a high-performance liquid chromatographic-electrospray ionization-mass spectrometric method for analysis of neutral PEGs and positively changed amino PEGs simultaneously. The new method is fast, accurate, sensitive and specific for high throughput analysis. The method was used to evaluate the paracellular permeability of PEGs through a corneal epithelial cell culture. Paracellular pores are negatively charged and it was in our interest to characterize the interactions of positive charge and size of the molecules with the paracellular pores.  相似文献

The Δ(1236) is introduced into the wavefunctions of3He and3H and the charge form factor calculated. The effect is to slightly aggravate the already large discrepancy between theory and experiment for q2 ? 14 fm?2. However, there are two side benefits —a simple way to understand the d-wave contribution to the CFF, and a simple NΔ correlation function having a very good overlap with a more exact correlation.  相似文献

The letter describes an electromagnetic humidity sensor based on a resonance perturbation technique. The proposed sensor is capable of measuring humidity over a wide dynamic range in an industrial environment and is insensitive to dust, dirt, oil vapours etc. The all-metal construction of the sensor makes it immune to damage by high temperature. The sensor signal processing circuit provides a time-dependent signal which can be directly applied to any modern computerised control systems.  相似文献
