Three new current-mode second-order filter configurations which employ one or two current controlled conveyors (CCCIIs) and three passive elements are presented. Each proposed filter can realize one of the bandpass, lowpass or highpass responses all at high impedance outputs. The proposed filters offer current-control of pole angular frequency ωo without disturbing the parameter ωo /Q. No component matching is required and all the passive and active sensitivities are low. PSPICE simulation results are given to confirm the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

This paper reports three current mode second order filters, each of which realizes a specific function without any external passive elements. These filters realize low-pass notch (LPN), high-pass notch (HPN) and all-pass (AP) functions. Two OPAMPs, a double output OTA and a single output OTA are employed for each circuit. The filter structures can be easily cascaded since they have high output impedances. This property is especially useful for achieving high-order filters using these LPN and HPN filters as building blocks. The presented theory is verified with macro models in SPICE simulations and, using the SPICE parameters of the layout technology, post layout simulations are carried out, with parasitics extracted from the layouts of the filter chips.  相似文献

In this study, we present a new topology for realizing a grounded inductor employing only a single current conveyor, called a negative‐type modified inverting second‐generation current conveyor (MICCII‐), and a minimum number of passive components, two resistors, and one capacitor. The non‐ideality effects of the MICCII‐on a simulated inductor are investigated. To demonstrate the performance of the presented inductance simulator, we use it to construct a third order Butterworth high‐pass filter and a parallel resonant circuit. Simulation results are given to confirm the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

In this paper, both of current-mode and voltage-mode proportional plus integral plus derivative (PID) controllers employing the second-generation current conveyors (CCIIs) as active elements are developed. The presented novel PID controllers have grounded passive elements that do not need passive element matching, and realize independently adjustable PID parameters. Thus, it is easy to implement these PID controllers in integrated circuits. Several computer simulations are presented to demonstrate the behavior of these proposed PID controllers.  相似文献

This paper describes current-mode third-order Butterworth filter topologies realized with unity gain active elements and minimum number of passive components. All capacitors and resistors are equal valued. The core of the circuit realizes HP, BP and LP functions easily. The filter exhibits high output impedance. Operational transconductance amplifiers (OTAs) are widely used in the design of electronically tunable circuits. However, electronic tunability ranges of the OTA based filters are restricted by the limited bandwidth of the transconductance gain of the OTA. Furthermore, stability conditions and the linearity of the OTA which depends on the control current restrict the tunability. In this paper, some trade-offs in the electronically tunable filters are investigated. In addition, the tunability ranges of some first and second order OTA-C and OTA-RC filters are comparatively examined. Moreover, an OTA-C all-pass filter circuit is presented. SPICE simulations are performed and stability analyses are given for both of the OTA-C and OTA-RC filters. Operation of the presented all-pass filter is verified experimentally.  相似文献

Analog circuit designers have usually focused on the design of circuits employing a minimum number of components, occupying less area and dissipating less power. However, some important issues such as signal limitations and especially stability problems of the analog circuits have not received considerable attention in the literature. Hence, the work described in this paper deals with the stability problems of two new current-mode analog filters employing multiple output current controlled conveyors (MOCCCIIs). Toward that end, a single pole model is replaced for each non-ideal current gain of the MOCCCIIs. Both of the novel universal current-mode active-C filters can simultaneously realize low-pass, band-pass and high-pass/notch filter responses. SPICE and MATLAB simulation results are given to verify the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

A hierarchical approach for fast bi‐dimensional empirical mode decomposition (B‐EMD) is proposed. The presented approach utilizes an efficient window size determination scheme that enables the multi‐level computation of the order statistics filter (OSF). Our detailed experiments show that the proposed OSF computation approach allows a significantly faster computation of an EMD without degrading the decomposition accuracy.  相似文献
