The natural product lupeol 1 was isolated from aerial parts of Vernonia scorpioides with satisfactory yield, which made it viable to be used as starting material in semisynthetic approach. Ten lupeol derivatives 2–11 were prepared by classical procedures. Including, five new esters derivatives 7–11, which were obtained by structural modifications in the isopropylidene fragment. All semisynthetic compounds and lupeol 1–11 were confirmed by 1H NMR, 13C NMR and HRMS. Their antiprotozoal activity was evaluated in vitro against L. amazonensis and T. cruzi. Derivative 6 showed the best antitrypanosomal activity (IC50 = 12.48 μg/mL) and the lowest cytotoxic derivative (CC50 = 161.50 μg/mL). The mechanism of action of the most active derivatives (4, 6 and 11) is not dependent from the enzyme trypanothione reductase.  相似文献

This paper presents a simple alternative for an electronic ballast operating in self-sustained oscillating mode with dimming capability for fluorescent lamps. A simple modification in one of the gate drivers side circuit allows the lamp to dim without compromising the simplicity, reliability, and low cost which characterize the self-oscillating electronic ballast (SOEB). A qualitative analysis is presented to explain the behavior of the proposed self-oscillating electronic ballast with dimming feature. In addition, the stability and the key equations for the design are derived using the extended Nyquist criterion and describing function method. Experimental results from two 40-W electronic ballasts are presented to demonstrate the performance and to validate the analysis carried out.  相似文献

Scale up relations were obtained for the mixer of a box type mixer-settler used in an uranium extraction process from chloridric leaches. Three box type mixers of different sizes and with the same geometry were used for batch and continuous-flow experiments. The correlations between the extraction rate and the specific power input,D/T ratio(=turbine diameter/mixer width) and residence time were experimentally determined. The results showed that the extraction rate increases with the power input at a constantD/T ratio equal to 1/3, remaining however, independent from the mixer size for a specific value of the power input. This behaviour was observed for power input values ranging from 100 to 750 W/m3.  相似文献

TAN reacts with zinc(II) forming a red complex with composition 1:2 Zn(II)-TAN and absorption maximum at 582 nm. Zinc can be determined with this reagent in the presence of Triton X-100, in the pH range 6.20-8.00 with a molar absorptivity of 4.5×104 l/mol/cm Beer's Law was obeyed up to least 1.55 g/ml. Copper interference was eliminated with a mixture of thiosulfate and ascorbic acid and nickel separated by precipitation with dimethylglyoxime. The proposed method was used for zinc determination in several copper-base alloys and the results of analysis in comparison with certified values indicated that the procedure was accurate and precise. A derivative procedure is also proposed, allowing zinc determination with high sensitivity (5-400 ng/ml).  相似文献

This work reports the synthesis of isoxazoles linked to sugar derivatives in different positions of furanosidic rings, by intramolecular oxidative cyclization of α,β‐unsaturated oximes with iodine, potassium iodide and sodium hydrogen carbonate. The reaction of aluminium(III) with Hydroxynaphtol Blue (HNB) in aqueous media at apparent pH 5.5 results in a red complex that is stable for at least 4 hr. Beer's Law is obeyed up to 1.6 microg/ml of aluminium(III) with an apparent molar absorptivity of 1.66 x 10(4) l.mol(-1). cm(-1) at 569 nm. This paper proposes procedures for aluminium(III) determination by ordinary and first-derivative spectrophotometry. The results demonstrated that the linear dynamic range is 0.03-1.60 microg/ml for ordinary spectrophotometry and 11.8-320.0 ng/ml for first derivative spectrophotometry. The HNB is not selectivity for aluminium, but the addition of EDTA allows the aluminium determination in the presence of accepted amounts of Ca(II), Mg(II), Mn(II), Ba(II), Sr(II), Cd(II), Pb(II), La(III), In(III), Bi(III) and Zn(II). The interference of Cu(II) and Hg(II) can be masked by thiosulphate. Ions such as UO(2)(II), Mo(VI), Co(II), Ti(IV) and PO(4)(III) do interfere seriously. This method was applied for aluminium determination in copper-base alloy, zinc-base alloy, magnesium-base alloy, iron ore, manganese ore, cement, dolomite, feldspar and limestone. In this work we propose a dynamic metal speciation theory for colloidal systems in which the complexing ligands are localized on the surface of the particles; i.e., there is spatial heterogeneity of binding sites within the sample volume. The differences between the complex formation and dissociation rate constants of complexes in colloidal dispersions and those in homogeneous solutions originate from the differences in kinetic and mass transport conditions. In colloidal systems, when the effective rate of dissociation of the surface complexes becomes fully diffusion controlled, its value is defined via the geometrical parameters of the particle. We assess the extent to which the conventional approach of assuming a homogeneously smeared-out ligand distribution overestimates the lability of surface complexes in colloidal ligand dispersions. The validity of the theory is illustrated by application to binding of lead and cadmium by carboxyl modified latex particles: our approach correctly predicts the formation/dissociation rate constants, which differ by several orders of magnitude from their homogeneous solution counterparts.  相似文献

Abstract

A rapid new analytical protocol was developed for the determination of formaldehyde and acetaldehyde associated to atmospheric particulate matter, at ng/m3 levels. The aerosols were collected on glass fiber filters (8″×10″) at face velocities ranging from 15 m/min to 23 m/min. Aliquots of 15.4 cm2 were sonicated, for 20 min, with 5.0 mL of 0,01% 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine (DNPH), 1 % phosphoric acid. The liquid phase was then filtered and the separation and quantification of the corresponding 2,4-dinitrophenylhidrazone (DNPHo) derivatives carried out by reverse phase HPLC. Acetonitrile:water (57:43, v/v) as mobile phase at 1.0 mL/min and absorbance detection at 350 nm and 365 nm for, respectively, formaldehyde-DNPHo (0.04 AUFS) and acetaldehyde-DNPHo (0.01 AUFS) were used. The precision for four different aliquots, from a 8″×10″ glass fiber filter, were under 0.04% for formaldehyde and 14.16 % for acetaldehyde. In Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, formaldehyde and acetaldehyde were determined, respectively, in the range of 6.8 ng/m3 to 27.3 ng/m3 and 9.1 ng/m3 to 54.6 ng/m3.  相似文献
