This article presents a graph-theoretic method for constructing low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes from connected graphs without the requirement of large girth. This method is based on finding a set of paths in a connected graph, which satisfies the constraint that any two paths in the set are either disjoint or cross each other at one and only one vertex. Two trellis-based algorithms for finding these paths are devised. Good LDPC codes of practical lengths are constructed and they perform well with iterative decoding.  相似文献

Available databases presently used by commercial simulation software packages for the aluminum casting industry are usually armed with material properties for only a few selected standard alloys. In the case of other alloys with different chemical compositions and refinement or modification treatment, thermal analysis could be an invaluable tool to gain necessary properties. The aim of this article is to demonstrate the potential application of the cooling curve analysis in the existing simulation software by improving its accuracy.  相似文献

The dendrite coherency point (DCP) temperature refers to the state of a solidifying alloy at which a coherent dendrite network is established during the formation of grains. Several relatively complex methods for detection of the DCP temperature have been developed. There are four main DCP temperature testing approaches: (i) the rheological technique, (ii) thermal analysis of the minimum temperature difference between two cooling curves, (iii) thermal analysis of the second derivative of one cooling curve, and (iv) the thermal diffusivity measurement technique. This paper follows up the proposed thermal analysis of one center cooling curve for the determination of the DCP characteristics such as: temperature, time, instantaneous solidification rate, and fraction solid. The first derivative of the cooling curve is plotted versus the temperature and time and the thermal characteristics of all metallurgical reactions, including the DCP are determined with the same accuracy achieved using the two thermocouple technique developed by B?ckerud et al. [4, 5]. Statistical analysis of the DCP temperature using the one versus two thermocouple techniques shows R 2 equal to 0.99. This research revealed that utilization of dT/dt versus the temperature curve methodology also allows for analysis of the ??-Al dendrite nucleation and growth characteristics and consequent determination of the grain size. On-going work on this new methodology for characterization of other solidification events will be presented in subsequent papers.  相似文献

A HPLC method has been developed for the direct assay of fleroxacin in serum, without previous extraction. Serum samples, after the addition of sodium dodecylsulfate (0.5%), were injected directly into an LC Hisep column. The mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile, water and triethylamine in a per cent volume ratio 18:80:2. The pH of the mobile phase was adjusted to 6.50 with the addition of phosphoric acid. The drug was detected fluorometrically at lambda (ex )=280 nm and lambda (em )=450 nm . The linear concentration range of fleroxacin was between 0.01 and 2.0mg/l with a detection limit of 1ng/ml.  相似文献

The preparation of dibenzocycloheptyne-Co(2)(CO)(6) complexes by intramolecular Nicholas reactions of biaryl-2-propargyl alcohol-Co(2)(CO)(6) derivatives is described. Reductive decomplexation of the dibenzocycloheptyne-Co(2)(CO)(6) complexes affords the corresponding dibenzocycloheptenes, individual members of which have been employed in a formal total synthesis of (-)-allocolchicine, the preparation of 6,7-dihydro-3,4,9,10,11-pentamethoxy-5H-dibenzo[a,c]cyclohepten-5-one, and the enantioselective total syntheses of NSC 51046 and its 3,8,9,10-tetramethoxy regioisomer.  相似文献

The structure-related (SR) finite-difference beam-propagation method is applied to integrated optical couplers employing curved waveguide sections. A general nonorthogonal coordinate system is introduced that matches the local structure geometry, yielding a more accurate analysis with coarser meshes than standard schemes, thus providing significant computational resource savings. Furthermore, the algorithm is easily interfaced with conventional schemes. Examples of curved two-dimensional and three-dimensional directional waveguide couplers are examined to show the advantages and generality of SR schemes as well as to explore the role of the extra degrees of freedom offered by nonorthogonal meshing.  相似文献

Generation of short gravity wave noise often occurs on semi-staggered rectangular grids as a result of sub-grid decoupling when there is a strong forcing in the mass field. In this study a numerical scheme has been proposed to prevent the generation of the gravity wave decoupling. The proposed numerical method provides efficient communication between decoupled gravity wave finite-difference solutions by a simple averaging of a term in the height tendency in the continuity equation. The proposed method is tested using a shallow water sink model developed for the purpose of this study. It has been demonstrated that this method outperforms other existing approaches. The new scheme is time efficient, based on explicit time integration and can be easily implemented. The proposed method is applicable in hydrodynamic models specified on semi-staggered B or E grids.  相似文献

This letter presents an algebraic method for constructing regular low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes based on Reed-Solomon codes with two information symbols. The construction method results in a class of LDPC codes in Gallager's original form. Codes in this class are free of cycles of length 4 in their Tanner graphs and have good minimum distances.
