The paper presents the results of the performance evaluation study for a class of real-time computer systems intended for industrial process applications. The developed measures will improve the response time of the system, under the condition of high data arrival rates, where task context switching time and associated overhead are highly exhibited. A discretionary dynamic scheduling and selection discipline is synthesized, producing the minimum global expected waiting time in the system, under the given conditions.  相似文献

Liquid polysulfide polymers with the thiol groups on the end of the chains and of the average molecular weight of 7000–510 g mol−1 have been obtained by the reaction of BClE and Na2S3, i.e., Na2S2.5 in the presence of hydrazine. The average molecular weight of the obtained polymers depends on the quantity of hydrazine used for the syntheses. With the aim to obtain polymers of the similar average molecular weight it is necessary to use on average 0.5 mol of hydrazine per polymer segment less if Na2S2.5 is used instead of Na2S3. The sulfur content in the obtained polymers is on average less than 2 sulfur atoms per polymer segment and amounts to 1.90 sulfur atoms when Na2S3 is used and is 1.76 sulfur atoms per polymer segment when Na2S2.5 is used for the synthesis. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. A new automatic approach for saccular intracranial aneurysm isolation is proposed in this work. Due to the inter- and intra-observer variability in manual delineation of the aneurysm neck, a definition based on a minimum cost path around the aneurysm sac is proposed that copes with this variability and is able to make consistent measurements along different data sets, as well as to automate and speedup the analysis of cerebral aneurysms. The method is based on the computation of a minimal path along a scalar field obtained on the vessel surface, to find the aneurysm neck in a robust and fast manner. The computation of the scalar field on the surface is obtained using a fast marching approach with a speed function based on the exponential of the distance from the centerline bifurcation between the aneurysm dome and the parent vessels. In order to assure a correct topology of the aneurysm sac, the neck computation is constrained to a region defined by a surface Voronoi diagram obtained from the branches of the vessel centerline. We validate this method comparing our results in 26 real cases with manual aneurysm isolation obtained using a cut-plane, and also with results obtained using manual delineations from three different observers by comparing typical morphological measures.  相似文献

The results of our studies show that liquid linear polysulfide polymers of an average molecular weight 4260–1030 g mol−1 can be obtained by the reaction of sodium tetrasulfide and 1,1′-[methylenebis(oxy)]-bis-[2-chloroethane] in the presence of 2.0–5.0 mol of hydrazine and at least 4.0 mol of sodium hydroxide/mol of hydrazine in a one-step procedure. The disulfide polymers in the form of sodium mercaptide are soluble in the supernatant liquid from which they are separated by acidification of the solution to a pH value of about 4. The average molecular weight and the content of sulfur in the obtained linear polymers were determined and their IR spectra were recorded. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
