Hexacoordinated non‐heme iron complexes [FeII(L1)2](ClO4)2 ( 1 ) and [FeII(L2)2](PF6)2 ( 2 ) have been synthesized using ligands L1 = (E)‐2‐chloro‐6‐(2‐(pyridin‐2ylmethylene) hydrazinyl)pyridine and L2 = (E)‐2‐chloro‐6‐(2‐(1‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)ethylidene)hydrazinyl) pyridine]. These complexes are highly active non‐heme iron catalysts to catalyze the C (sp3)?H bonds of alkanes. These iron complexes have been characterized using ESI?MS analysis and molecular structures were determined by X‐ray crystallography. ESI ? MS analysis also helped to understand the generation of intermediate species like FeIII?OOH and FeIV=O. DFT and TD?DFT calculations revealed that the oxidation reactions were performed through high‐valent iron center and a probable reaction mechanism was proposed. Leakage power minimization has become an important issue with technology scaling. Variable threshold voltage schemes have become popular for standby power reduction. In this work we look at another emerging aspect of this potent problem which is leakage power reduction in active mode of operation. In gate level circuits, a large number of gates are not switching in active mode at any given point in time but nevertheless are consuming leakage power. We propose a fine-grained forward body biasing (FBB) scheme for active mode leakage power reduction in gate level circuits without any delay penalty. Our results show that our optimal polynomial time FBB allocation algorithm results in 70.2% reduction in leakage currents. We also present an exact standard-cell placement driven FBB allocation algorithm that effectively reduces the area penalty using the post-placement area slack and results in 56.5%, 62.8% and 66.1% reduction in leakage currents for 0%, 4% and 8% area slack, respectively. Furthermore, we present a heuristic to solve the standard-cell placement driven FBB allocation problem that is computationally efficient and results in leakage within 2% of that from the exact formulation. 相似文献

Although microRNAs (miRNAs) have been shown to be excellent indicators of disease state, current profiling platforms are insufficient for clinical translation. Here, we demonstrate a versatile hydrogel‐based microfluidic approach and novel amplification scheme for entirely on‐chip, sensitive, and highly specific miRNA detection without the risk of sequence bias. A simulation‐driven approach is used to engineer the hydrogel geometry and the gel‐reaction environment is chemically optimized for robust detection performance. The assay provides 22.6 fM sensitivity over a three log range, demonstrates multiplexing across at least four targets, and requires just 10.3 ng of total RNA input in a 2 hour and 15 minutes assay. 相似文献

This paper studies the addition (0–40% w/w) of natural zeolite (NZ, 84% clinoptilolite) in blended cements made with Portland cement (PC) with low and medium C3A content. The isothermal calorimetry was used to understand the effect of NZ on the early cement hydration. For low C3A cement, the addition of NZ produces mainly a dilution effect and then the heat released curve is similar to plain cement with lower intensity. For medium C3A cement, the curve shows the C3S peak in advance and a high intensity of third peak attributed to C3A hydration. The high cation fixed of NZ reduces the ions concentration (especially alkalis) in the mixing water stimulating the PC hydration. The flowability decreases when the NZ replacement level increases. Results of Fratini’s test show that NZ with both PCs used presents slow pozzolanic activity. At early age, XRD and FTIR analyses confirm that hydration products are the same as that of the corresponding PC and the CH is progressively reduced after 28 days and some AFm phases (hemi- and monocarboaluminate) appear depending on the NZ percentage and the PC used. For low replacement levels, the compressive strength is higher than the corresponding PC from 2 to 28 days. For high replacement levels, the early compressive strength is lower than that of corresponding plain PC and the pozzolanic reaction improves the later compressive strength of blended cements. 相似文献

The synthesis of a generation 5 (G5) poly(amidoamine) (PAMAM) dendrimer platform having cyclooctyne ligands that were subsequently be used for a copper-free Huisgen 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition (click reaction) with azido modified methotrexate is described. The G5 PAMAM dendrimer was first partially (70%) acetylated and then coupled with 20 cyclooctyne ligands through amide bonds. The remaining primary amine groups on the dendrimer surface were neutralized by acetylation. The platform was then ‘clicked’ with different numbers (5, 10, and 17) of γ-azido functionalized methotrexate. The copper-free click reactions were stoichiometric with excellent yields. 相似文献

The fluid-solid transition of the Lennard-Jones model is analyzed along a supercritical isotherm. The analysis is implemented via a simulation method which is based on a modification of the constrained cell model of Hoover and Ree. In the context of hard-sphere freezing, Hoover and Ree simulated the solid phase using a constrained cell model in which each particle is confined within its own Wigner-Seitz cell. Hoover and Ree also proposed a modified cell model by considering the effect of an external field of variable strength. High-field values favor configurations with a single particle per Wigner-Seitz cell and thus stabilize the solid phase. In previous work, a simulation method for freezing transitions, based on constant-pressure simulations of the modified cell model, was developed and tested on a system of hard spheres. In the present work, this method is used to determine the freezing transition of a Lennard-Jones model system on a supercritical isotherm at a reduced temperature of 2. As in the case of hard spheres, constant-pressure simulations of the fully occupied constrained cell model of a system of Lennard-Jones particles indicate a point of mechanical instability at a density which is approximately 70% of the density at close packing. Furthermore, constant-pressure simulations of the modified cell model indicate that as the strength of the field is reduced, the transition from the solid to the fluid is continuous below the mechanical instability point and discontinuous above. The fluid-solid transition of the Lennard-Jones system is obtained by analyzing the field-induced fluid-solid transition of the modified cell model in the high-pressure, zero-field limit. The simulations are implemented under constant pressure using tempering and histogram reweighting techniques. The coexistence pressure and densities are determined through finite-size scaling techniques for first-order phase transitions which are based on analyzing the size-dependent behavior of susceptibilities and dimensionless moment ratios of the order parameter. 相似文献
