A routing protocol chooses one of the several paths (routes) from a source node to a destination node in the computer network, to send a packet of information. In this paper, we propose a new routing protocol, which we call st-routing protocol, based on st-numbering of a graph. The protocol fits well in noisy environments where robustness of routing using alternative paths is a major issue. The proposed routing protocol provides a systematic way to retry alternative paths without generating any duplicate packets. The protocol works for only those networks that can be represented by biconnected graphs. 相似文献

Infrared spectra of CO2 sorbed in rubbery and glassy polymeric membranes were measured to examine the relationships between the spectroscopic data and the physical properties of the membranes. The two peaks observed in the spectra of CO2 were attributed to the R branch and P branch of CO2 sorbed in the membranes based on the consideration that both peaks were observed at a temperature above the glass transition temperature of the membranes. Apparent diffusion coefficients of CO2 in the membranes were measured from the desorption kinetics of CO2 detected by FTIR spectroscopy. The solubility coefficients of CO2 were also estimated from absorbance spectra of CO2 sorbed in the membranes using Lambert-Beer's rule. The permeability, solubility, and diffusion coefficients estimated by the FTIR method were found to correlate well with the coefficients obtained by conventional methods such as vacuum-pressure or sorption isotherm methods. © 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 相似文献

Permeabilities and diffusion coefficients of various gases, Ar, N2, O2, CO2, CH4, C2H4, C3H8 and C4H10, were measured for Water-swollen gel cellophane membranes. No dependence of permeabilities on gas pressure below 1 atm was found. It was observed that the permeability coefficients were not related linearly to the coefficients in bulk water. For the two states of water in the membrane, an analytical method is presented to estimate the diffusion coefficients and the solubilities in free water and non-freezing water. It was found that the diffusion coefficients in non-freezing water were lower than those in free water, and the solubilities in non-freezing water were higher than in free water for all gases studied except CO2 and C2H4, which gave reverse results. 相似文献

A tris(2,2'-bipyridine)ruthenium(II) derivative having two N-(3-ammoniopropyl)carbamoyl pendant units has been prepared and reacted with cis-PtCl2(DMSO)2 (DMSO = dimethyl sulfoxide) to give a heteronuclear Ru(II)Pt(II) dimer having a cis-Pt(II)Cl2(aliphatic amine)2 unit, [Ru(bpy)2(mu-bridge)PtCl2](PF6)2 (bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine, bridge = 4,4'-bis(N-(3-aminopropyl)carbamoyl)-2,2'-bipyridine). The ESI-TOF mass spectrum of the Ru(II)Pt(II) dimer shows a set of signals corresponding to {[Ru(bpy)2(mu-bridge)PtCl2](PF6)}(+) (m/z 1181.1). The MLCT (metal-to-ligand charge transfer) luminescence intensity is enhanced upon the platination of two amine units, presumably due to the formation of a relatively rigid metallocycle. More interestingly, the luminescence intensity is further enhanced by the complexation of the Ru(II)Pt(II) dimer with either 5'-GMP (guanosine 5'-monophosphate disodium salt) or calf thymus DNA. Visible-light-induced scission of supercoiled pBR322 DNA is found to be efficiently enhanced in the presence of the title Ru(II)Pt(II) dimer. 相似文献

Anopheles stephensi is a mosquito vector of malaria, which is still considered a relevant public health problem due to increasing outdoor transmission, growing resistance to insecticides used to target vectors, and antiplasmodial drugs as well. Thus, there is a vital need to explore novel sources of effective compounds. In this study, the hydrothermal method was used for the synthesis of bismuth oxyiodide (BiOI) nanoflakes. Furthermore, the toxicity of BiOI nanoflakes was evaluated for the first time on A. stephensi, as well as in vivo against the malaria parasite Plasmodium berghei. The synthesis of BiOI nanoflakes was confirmed by various characterization techniques, including X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy, field emission scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM). LC50 of BiOI nanoflakes on A. stephensi were 2.263 ppm (larva I), 3.414 ppm (II), 4.956 ppm (III), 6.983 ppm (IV) and 8.605 ppm (pupae). In vivo antiplasmodial experiments conducted on P. berghei infecting albino mice showed 27.2% of chemosuppression after 4 days of treatment with 300 mg/kg/day of BiOI, a lower performance if compared to chloroquine. Overall, our results suggested that hydrothermal synthesis of BiOI nanoflakes may be considered to develop newer and safer tools for malaria vector control. 相似文献

Homogeneously fullerene‐dispersed membranes were prepared under the conditions in which a 10 wt % poly(1‐trimethylsilyl‐1‐propyne) solution containing 0.5 wt % fullerene was dried under a reduced pressure of 50 cmHg at 100 °C. UV‐vis spectra and microscopic observations of the fullerene membranes indicated that the fullerene was homogeneously dispersed in the membranes. The permeability coefficients of 1‐butene were found to be higher than those of n‐butane in the fullerene membranes, although the permeability coefficients of olefin gases were nearly equal to those of paraffin gases having the same number of carbon in poly(1‐trimethylsilyl‐1‐propyne) membranes containing no fullerene. Pressure dependence of permeability coefficients was clearly observed for the permeation of carbon dioxide, ethylene, ethane, 1‐butene, and n‐butane through the fullerene membranes, while no significant dependence was found for poly(1‐trimethylsilyl‐1‐propyne) membranes except for the permeation of 1‐butene and n‐butane. In recent years, several high-resolution structures of aptamer complexes have shed light on the binding mode and recognition principles of aptamer complex interactions. In some cases, however, the aptamer complex binding behavior and mechanism are not clearly understood, especially with the absence of structural information. In this study, it was demonstrated that isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC) and circular dichroism (CD) were useful tools for studying the fundamental binding mechanism between a DNA aptamer and L-tyrosinamide (L-TyrNH2). To gain further insight into this behavior, thermodynamic and conformational measurements under different parameters such as salt concentration, temperature, pH value, analogue of L-TyrNH2, and metal ion were carried out. The thermodynamic signature along with the coupled CD spectral change suggest that this binding behavior is an enthalpy-driven process, and the aptamer has a conformational change from B-form to A-form. The results showed that the interaction is an induced fit binding, and the driving forces in this binding behavior may include electrostatic interactions, hydrophobic effects, hydrogen bonding, and the binding-linked protonation process. The amide group and phenolic hydroxyl group of the L-TyrNH2 play a vital role in this binding mechanism. In addition, it should be noted that Mg(2+) not only improves binding affinity but also helps change the structure of the DNA aptamer. 相似文献

In mobile wireless data access networks, remote data access is expensive in terms of bandwidth consumption. An efficient caching scheme can reduce the amount of data transmission, hence, bandwidth consumption. However, an update event makes the associated cached data objects obsolete and useless for many applications. Data access frequency and update play a crucial role in deciding which data objects should be cached. Seemingly, frequently accessed but infrequently updated objects should have higher preference while preserving in the cache. Other objects should have lower preference or be evicted, or should not be cached at all, to accommodate higher‐preference objects. In this paper, we proposed Optimal Update‐based Replacement, a replacement or eviction scheme, for cache management in wireless data networks. To facilitate the replacement scheme, we also presented two enhanced cache access schemes, named Update‐based Poll‐Each‐Read and Update‐based Call‐Back. The proposed cache management schemes were supported with strong theoretical analysis. Both analysis and extensive simulation results were given to demonstrate that the proposed schemes guarantee optimal amount of data transmission by increasing the number of effective hits and outperform the popular Least Frequently Used scheme in terms of both effective hits and communication cost. Ultrafiltration experiments for the chiral separation of racemic phenylalanine were performed with DNA-immobilized chitosan membranes having various pore sizes. Atomic analysis on the membranes showed that the chitosan membranes covalently bound six times more DNA than the cellulose membranes used in our previous study [A. Higuchi, Y. Higuchi, K. Furuta, B.O. Yoon, M. Hara, S. Maniwa, M. Saitoh, K. Sanui, Chiral separation of phenylalanine by ultrafiltration through immobilized DNA membranes, J. Membr. Sci. 221 (2003) 207–218]. d-Phenylalanine preferentially permeated through DNA-immobilized chitosan membranes with a pore size <6.4 nm [molecular weight cut-off (MWCO) <67,000]. The binding affinity of a specific enantiomer due to the pore size of the DNA-immobilized membranes regulated the preferential permeation of the enantiomer through the membranes. l-Phenylalanine was adsorbed on the DNA-immobilized chitosan membranes with a pore size <6.4 nm (MWCO < 67,000), while there was little difference between the adsorption of d-phenylalanine and l-phenylalanine on the membranes with a pore size >6.4 nm (MWCO > 67,000). Microfiltration of a γ-globulin solution has been investigated through the virus removal membranes having different pore sizes (i.e. r=15, 35 and 75 nm) and a dialysis membrane (r=3.4 nm), which were all made of the same regenerated cellulose material. The addition of NaCl in the γ-globulin feed solution was effective to enhance the flux and transmission through the membranes having a pore size ranging from 15 to 75 nm. DNase treatment of a γ-globulin solution with Micrococcal nuclease enhanced the flux and transmission of γ-globulin through the membranes either with or without NaCl. The membranes having a pore size of 35 nm showed dramatically enhanced flux in the microfiltration of a γ-globulin solution containing NaCl and/or being treated with Micrococcal nuclease. This can be explained as a DNase treatment and NaCl addition in the protein solution dissociate protein aggregates of DNA–γ-globulin complex, which plugs the pores in the microfiltration membranes. 相似文献
