NOO-type tridentate Schiff base, N-salicylidene-2-aminobenzoic acid, (H2L), and its ternary Cu (II) complex containing H2L Schiff base and 4,7-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (4,7-dmphen), [Cu(4,7-dmphen)(H2L)]27H2O, have been synthesized and characterized by CHN analysis, ESI-MS, FTIR, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction techniques. The interaction of alone H2L Schiff base ligand and ternary Cu (II) complex with biomacramolecules {calf thymus DNA (CT-DNA) and bovine serum albumin (BSA)} has been investigated by electronic absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy. The experimental results indicate that H2L Schiff base ligand and ternary Cu (II) complex bind to CT-DNA by means of a moderate intercalation mode. Furthermore, the fluorescence quenching mechanism between H2L Schiff base ligand and ternary Cu (II) complex with BSA possesses a static quenching process. Radical scavenging activity of H2L Schiff base ligand and ternary Cu (II) complex was measured in terms of EC50, using the DPPH and H2O2 methods. Biomacromolecule interactions and scavenging activity studies revealed that ternary Cu (II) complex yielded better results than H2L Schiff base ligand alone. 相似文献

Cross-sections for the π+-induced fission of 209Bi and 235U have been measured in small steps across the 3-3 resonance to search for any mechanisms that might signal a change in the
reaction mechanism across a region where strong coupling of available energy into nuclear excitation can be expected. The
bismuth data are found to be in good agreement with a statistical calculation not including new mechanisms.

Focusing on the demand from the food industry for fast and reliable alternative methods to control the quality of food products, we present in this paper a method for amino acid separation and glutamic acid quantification in complex matrices employing capillary electrophoresis with capacitively coupled contactless conductivity detection. We demonstrate by simulation and experimentally the use of organic solvents in sample preparation to prevent peak splitting and increase stacking in capillary electrophoretic separations of amino acids. Additionally, we obtained results for glutamic acid quantification comparable to those obtained via traditional methods used at industrial sites. We tested premium and low‐cost samples with large variations in their glutamic acid content, which demonstrated the wide range of applicability of the method presented herein. The results of the proposed capacitively coupled contactless conductivity detection based capillary electrophoresis method agreed with those obtained by an enzymatic detector and ultra high performance liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry, considering a confidence level of 95%. 相似文献

We have measured distributions in transverse momentum and rapidity of protons from interactions of 14.6 GeV/nucleon28Si projectiles with targets of Al and Pb. The transverse momentum spectra exhibit a thermal shape with a rapidity dependent temperature parameter. For very central or violent collisions the proton rapidity distributions exhibit the large rapidity shifts and (for Si+Al) a peak at midrapidity as required for full stopping. 相似文献
