Interference inspection of the aspherical components of an objective for nanolithography

Methods and schemes to inspect the EUV mirror shape are developed on the basis of a point diffraction interferometer with computer processing of interferograms. A measurement accuracy to within 0.001 of a wavelength in the visual range is achieved.     

Transformation of a Foucault shadowgram into the geometrical model of a shear interferogram by means of isophotometry

The principles of transformation of a Foucault shadowgram into a quantitative map of wave-front deformation based on creation of a system of isophotes are unveiled. The presented studies and their results prove that there is a high degree of correspondence between a Foucault shadowgram and the geometrical model of a shear interferogram with respect to displaying wave-front deformations.     

The right ideals of an alternative ring

It is proved that if P is a right ideal and I a two-sided ideal of an alternative ring A, then neither P² nor IP is in general a right ideal of A. Calculation of hadronic contribution to the anomalous magnetic momentum of muon (g − 2)μ from light by light scattering diagram in nonlocal chiral quark model

The correction to anomalous magnetic momentum muon from the light by light scattering diagram with intermediate pion is calculated in framework nonlocal chiral quark model. To fix the model parameters it is suggested to use the values of mass and two photon width of the neutral pion. The value of the correction is in region a_m ^{p0 , LbL} = (5.05 ±0.03) ×10 ^{- 10}a_\mu ^{\pi ^0 , LbL} = (5.05 \pm 0.03) \times 10^{ - 10} for different set of model parameters.     

Supersonic CW HF chemical lasers with an extended active medium

Spatial-energy, spectral, and optical characteristics of kilowatt supersonic cw HF chemical lasers of self-contained type with three-jet nozzle arrays using nozzle-nozzle-injector and nozzle-nozzle-nozzle configurations were experimentally studied. It was shown that such nozzle arrays enable one to form an active medium as long as 12.5 cm with a high optical quality. In a laser with a wide-aperture stable cavity, a laser beam with a nearly square cross section 11 × 10 cm in size was formed.     

Status of the lepton g − 2 and effects of hadronic corrections

The electron and muon anomalous magnetic moments (AMM) are measured in experiments and studied in the Standard Model (SM) with the highest precision accessible in particle physics. The comparison of the measured quantity with the SM prediction for the electron AMM provides the best determination of the fine structure constant. The muon AMM is more sensitive to the appearance of New Physics effects and, at present, there appears to be a three- to four-standard deviation between the SM and experiment. The lepton AMMs are pure relativistic quantum correction effects and therefore test the foundations of relativistic quantum field theory in general, and of quantum electrodynamics (QED) and SM in particular, with highest sensitivity. Special attention is paid to the studies of the hadronic contributions to the muon AMM which constitute the main source of theoretical uncertainties of the SM.
