A modified criterion of the SM perturbative consistency is proposed. It is based on the analytic properties of the two-loop SM running couplings. Under the criterion adopted, the Higgs mass up to 380 GeV might not give rise to strong coupling prior to the Planck scale. This means that the light Higgs boson is possibly preferred for reasons other than the SM perturbative consistency, i.e., for reasons beyond the SM. 相似文献

It is shown that the pressure in forevacuum plasma electron sources is limited from above by a current component that arises in the accelerating gap from a high-voltage glow discharge and dominates in the electron beam. The working pressure range of such electron sources can be expanded toward higher pressures by limiting the current of the high-voltage glow discharge in the accelerating gap. 相似文献

Using the EPR method, the members of free radicals of the hydrazyl group have been studied within a wide temperature range. In all the samples at temperatures 0.05?3K the existence of a phase transition to an antiferromagnetic state is found out. Transfer of hydroxide and hydroxonium ions in bulk of sodium chloride solution in the course of gaseous chlorine production in a static electrolyzer was considered and a relationship was derived to deter- mine the characteristics of a chlorinator. Results obtained by investigating the reaction π ? p → η′π 0 n at the VES spectrometer (Institute for High Energy Physics, Protvino) are presented. The effective-mass spectrum and angular distributions of η′π 0 events are compared with their counterparts for ηπ 0 and η′π ? events selected from the same data sample. The ratio R of the branching fractions for the decays of a 2 0 (1320) mesons into η′π and ηπ is measured. The result is R=0.047±0.018, which agrees with the value measured previously for a 2 ? . An investigation of P-wave production in the η′π 0 and ηπ 0 systems over the effective-mass interval 1.45–1.9 GeV/c2 leads to the conclusion that the coupling of the exotic object π 1 (1600) to the ρπ channel is suppressed in relation to its coupling to the η′π or the b 1(1235)π channel. 相似文献

Experimental investigations of candidates for hybrid mesons in the VES experiment at the Institute for High Energy Physics (Protvino) are surveyed. The data in question concern π 1 (1400) characterized by the exotic quantum numbers of J PC = 1?+ and observed in the ηπ ? final state; JPC = 1?+ π 1 (1600) in the ηπ ?, b 1 (1235)π, and f 1(1285)π ? final states; and J PC = 0?+ π(1800) in the f 0(980)π ?, f 0(1300)π ?, f 0(1500)π ?, and a 0 ? The delay time of ignition of a composite propellant based on ammonium perchlorate by a CO2-laser is measured at various pressures and radiant flux densities. The characteristics of the propellant at the moment of ignition are calculated. The obtained rate constants of the reactions in the propellant are compared to the respective rate constants of the reactions in the c-phase occurring during the combustion of the composite propellant. 相似文献
