We study 1-dimensional continuum fields of Ginzburg-Landau type under the presence of an external and a long-range pair interaction potentials. The corresponding Gibbs states are formulated as Gibbs measures relative to Brownian motion [17]. In this context we prove the existence of Gibbs measures for a wide class of potentials including a singular external potential as hard-wall ones, as well as a non-convex interaction. Our basic methods are: (i) to derive moment estimates via integration by parts; and (ii) in its finite-volume construction, to represent the hard-wall Gibbs measure on C(ℝ;ℝ+) in terms of a certain rotationally invariant Gibbs measure on C(ℝ;ℝ3).  相似文献

The helix formation dynamics of poly-L-glutamic acids (PGAs) were observed by the microsecond-resolved Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopies. The helix formation of 34-residue PGA from random coil at pH (or pD for FTIR) 8.0 was initiated by a pH jump to 4.9 using the rapid solution mixer whose mixing dead time is 50 micros. The amide I' line in the time-resolved FTIR spectra exhibited the fast (<100 micros) increase of the total helical content. The time-resolved CD spectra of the same process also showed the fast (<150 micros) formation of short helical segments (5 +/- 1 residues), which was followed by the slower (<1 ms) elongation of the short helices to longer helices (>10 residues). Similar dynamics were observed for the same pH jump of approximately 190-residue PGA, although there were additional steps that made the helix formation of approximately 190-residue PGA more complex. The observed multistep helix formation is likely caused by the strong hydrogen-bonding interactions between the protonated side chains of PGAs.  相似文献

[Structure: see text]. Citrinadin A (2) is a pentacyclic indolinone alkaloid isolated from the cultured broth of a fungus, Penicillium citrinum, which was separated from a marine red alga. The absolute stereochemistry of the pentacyclic core in 2 and its new congener, citrinadin B (1), was elucidated by analysis of the ROESY spectrum for the chlorohydrin derivative (3) of 1 as well as comparison of the electronic circular dichroism (ECD) spectra for 1 and 2 with those of known spirooxiindole alkaloids. On the other hand, the absolute configuration at C-21 bearing an epoxide ring was assigned as S by comparison of the vibrational circular dichroism (VCD) spectra of 1 with those of model compounds 2S- and 2R-2,3-epoxy-3,3-dimethyl-1-phenylpropan-1-one (4a and 4b, respectively).  相似文献

An optically active Co(I)(salen) type complex, lithium N,N′-bis(salicylaldehyde)-1(R), 2(R)-1,2-trans-cyclohexanediiminatocobalt(I), was prepared by reducing the CoII complex, N,N′-bis(salicylaldehyde)-1(R),2(R)-1,2-trans-cyclohexanediiminatocobalt(II), with LiAlH4. The structure of the CoI complex was determined on the basis of the structure of the corresponding CoII complex and was confirmed by usual physicochemical methods. Furthermore, characteristics of the absorption and circular dichroism(CD) spectra of the CoI complex were compared with those of the reported structure of Na+[Co(I)(salen)]?. Highly asymmetric selectivity was found in a resolution reaction of DL-propylene oxide by use of the above optically active lithium cobalt(I) complex as a catalyst.  相似文献

Abstract

The authors have developed a novel, rapid, convenient, and specific gene detection method, named the ‘DNA sensor,’ using a graphite electrode loaded with DNA probes. Synthesized oligonucleotide (5-TGCAGTTCCGGTGGCTGATC-3′) complementary to oncogene v-myc was employed for a model probe. The oligonucleotide was chemically adsorbed on a basal plane pyrolytic graphite (BPPG) electrode. The sensor was able to be applied to a hybridization reaction (40°C) in a linearized pVM623 solution carrying the Pst I fragment of v-myc (1.5 kbp).

After the hybridization reaction, the sensor was immersed into an acridine orange solution (1 μM) and washed with a phosphate buffer (pH 7.0). Acridine orange intercalated between base pairs of the formed double stranded DNAs on the electrode. The anodic peak potential of acridine orange that interacted with the DNAs on the electrode was measured. The positive shift of the peak potential increased in proportional to the pVM623 concentration in the hybridization reaction. 10?1 g/ml of pVM623 was able to be detected in the buffer solution using the sensor. This gene detection was completed within an hour.  相似文献

We report here a preliminary evaluation of a microfabricated disposable-type peptide nucleic acid (PNA) array, with a 20-channel electrode, for the detection of cancer gene c-Ki-ras. Synthetic 15-mer PNA probes complimentary to ras sequence modified with cysteine were immobilized on the gold electrodes on the array. The electrochemical PNA array was reacted with 20-mer oligonucleotide target or 128 bp PCR product for 1 h. The anodic current derived from an electrochemically active DNA binder Hoechst 33258 was measured using the PNA array in the 50 microL of reaction chamber. The anodic current from Hoechst 33258 increased with increasing the concentration of PCR product of ras gene in the range from 10(11) to 10(15) copy mL(-1). The single base mismatch mutations of c-Ki-ras/61 were also detected using the electrochemical PNA array.  相似文献

A finite element method for treating two-dimensional electron systems with Rashba spin–orbit interaction is developed. The Rashba spin–orbit interaction removes spin degeneracy, so that each spin contributes to the conductance differently. By accounting for the connection between a system and leads, this method yields the conductance of a nanoscale quantum device for each spin state. As an example, this calculation method is applied to a model of a quantum point contact. The results of this calculation indicate conductance quantization and a large spin polarization. We discuss the estimated accuracies of this calculation.  相似文献

Transportation, release behavior, and stability of a green fluorescent protein (GFP, 3×4 nm) in self‐assembled organic nanotubes with three different inner diameters (10, 20, and 80 nm) have been studied in terms of novel nanocontainers. Selective immobilization of a fluorescent acceptor dye on the inner surface enabled us to not only visualize the transportation of GFP in the nanochannels but to also detect release of the encapsulated GFP to the bulk solution in real time, based on fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET). Obtained diffusion constants and release rates of GFP markedly decreased as the inner diameter of the nanotubes was decreased. An endo‐sensing procedure also clarified the dependence of the thermal and chemical stabilities of the GFP on the inner diameters. The GFP encapsulated in the 10 nm nanochannel showed strong resistance to heat and to a denaturant. On the other hand, the 20 nm nanochannel accelerated the denaturation of the encapsulated GFP compared with the rate of denaturation of the free GFP in bulk and the encapsulated GFP in the 80 nm nanochannels. The confinement effect based on rational fitting of the inner diameter to the size of GFP allowed us to store it stably and without denaturation under high temperatures and high denaturant concentrations.  相似文献

An efficient two‐step procedure for the preparation of a new type of 1H‐isoindoles, i.e., N‐(3‐alkyl‐1‐aryl‐ or 1,3‐diaryl‐1H‐isoindol‐1‐yl)‐O‐methylhydroxylamines 5 , from readily available aryl(2‐bromophenyl)methanones 1 has been developed. Aryl(2‐bromophenyl)methanone O‐methyloximes 2 , derived from the corresponding ketones, were treated with BuLi in Et2O at 0° to generate novel lithium compounds, aryl(2‐lithiophenyl)methanone O‐methyloximes 3 , which were allowed to react with nitriles to give the desired products 5 in moderate‐to‐fair yields.  相似文献
