An equation of state for a multicomponent mixture of nonadditive hard spheres in d dimensions is proposed. It yields a rather simple density dependence and constitutes a natural extension of the equation of state for additive hard spheres proposed by us [A. Santos, S. B. Yuste, and M. Lopez de Haro, Mol. Phys. 96, 1 (1999)]. The proposal relies on the known exact second and third virial coefficients and requires as input the compressibility factor of the one-component system. A comparison is carried out both with another recent theoretical proposal based on a similar philosophy and with the available exact results and simulation data in d=1, 2, and 3. Good general agreement with the reported values of the virial coefficients and of the compressibility factor of binary mixtures is observed, especially for high asymmetries and/or positive nonadditivities.  相似文献

We consider the coagulation dynamics A+A-->A and A+A <==> A and the annihilation dynamics A+A-->0 for particles moving subdiffusively in one dimension. This scenario combines the "anomalous kinetics" and "anomalous diffusion" problems, each of which leads to interesting dynamics separately and to even more interesting dynamics in combination. Overtone spectrum of o, m and p-nitrobenzaldehydes and p-chlorobenzaldehyde has been studied in 2000–12000 cm−1 region. Vibrational frequencies and anharmonicity constants for aryl as well as alkyl CH stretch vibrations have been determined. We have also determined the internuclear distances for the aryl CH bond in the different molecules. The small variation observed in these distances is an indication of the substitution effect. It is observed that in the case of p-disubstituted benzens, the shift in aryl CH bond is proportional to sum of the Hammet σ of the substituents. However in the case of o-disubstituted benzenes it is only 80% of the para-substituted shift.  相似文献

The magnetic and optical properties of the [Cl?2] centre in BaClF crystal created by X-irradiation at 78 K are described. Although a slightly deviation from the axial symmetry is observed, the main experimental results can be explained on the basis of this approximation.  相似文献

The spin Hamiltonian parameters of Mn2+ have been measured above and below the transition point (180°C) of the lead phosphate. They show that Mn2+ substitutes a PbI ion. Between 175 and 180°C the principal axis OX of the fine tensor is parallel to the wave vector of the soft mode which condensates at the transition point. An exaltation of the linewidth is observed. The linewidth remains constant within 5°C of Tc; in this temperature range, the “static regime” is achieved, and the correlation time of the fluctuations is less than 10?8 sec.  相似文献

The preparation, crystal structures and magnetic properties of the copper(II) complexes of formula [Cu(pyim)(tcm)(2)](n) (1), [Cu(bpy)(tcm)(2)](n) (2), [Cu(4)(bpz)(4)(tcm)(8)] (3), {[Cu(terpy)(tcm)].tcm}(n) (4) and {[Cu(2)(tppz)(tcm)(4)].3/2H(2)O}(n) (5) [pyim = 2-(2-pyridyl)imidazole, tcm = tricyanomethanide, bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine, bpz = 2,2'-bipyrazine, terpy = 2,2':6',2'-terpyridine and tppz = 2,3,5,6-tetrakis(2-pyridyl)pyrazine] are reported. Complexes, 1, 2 and 4 are uniform copper(II) chains with single- (1 and 4) and double-(2) micro-1,5-tcm bridges with values of the intrachain copper-copper separation of 7.489(1) (1), 7.520(1) and 7.758(1) (2) and 7.469(1) A (4). Each copper atom in 1, 2 and 4 is five-coordinate with bidentate pyim (1)/bpy (2) and tridentate terpy (4) ligands and nitrile-nitrogen atoms from bridging (1,2 and 4) and terminal (1) tcm groups building a distorted square pyramidal surrounding. The structure of 3 is made up of neutral centrosymmetric rectangles of (2,2'-bipyrazine)copper(II) units at the corners, the edges being built by single- and double-micro-1,5-tcm bridges with copper-copper separations of 7.969(1) and 7.270(1) A, respectively. Five- and six-coordinated copper atoms with distorted square pyramidal and elongated octahedral environments occur in . Compound 5 is a neutral copper(II) chain with regular alternating bis-tridentate tppz and double micro-1,5-tcm bridges, the intrachain copper-copper distances being 6.549(7) and 7.668(1) A, respectively. The two crystallographically independent copper atoms in 5 have an elongated octahedral geometry with three tppz nitrogen atoms and a nitrile-nitrogen atom from a bridging tcm group in the equatorial positions, and two nitrile nitrogen atoms from a terminal and a bridging tcm ligand occupying the axial sites. The investigation of the magnetic properies of 1-5 in the temperature range 1.9-295 K has shown the occurrence of weak ferro- [J = +0.11(1) cm(-1) (2)] and antiferromagnetic interactions [J = -0.093(1) (1), -0.083(1) (4), -0.04(1) and 1.21(1) cm(-1) (3)] across the micro-1,5-tcm bridges and intermediate antiferromagnetic coupling [-J = 37.4(1) cm(-1) (5)] through bis-tridentate tppz. The values of the magnetic interactions are analyzed through simple orbital symmetry considerations and compared with those previously reported for related systems.  相似文献

The aim of this work is to investigate to what extent the structural properties of a short-range square-well (SW) fluid of range lambda at a given packing fraction eta and reduced temperature T* = kBT/epsilon can be represented by those of a sticky-hard-sphere (SHS) fluid at the same packing fraction and an effective stickiness parameter tau(T*,lambda). Such an equivalence cannot hold for the radial distribution function g(r) since this function has a delta singularity at contact (r = sigma) in the SHS case, while it has a jump discontinuity at r = lambda sigma in the SW case. Therefore, the equivalence is explored with the cavity function y(r), i.e., we assume that [formula: see text]. Optimization of the agreement between y(SW) and y(SHS) to first order in density suggests the choice tau(T*,lambda) = [12(e(1/T* - 1)(lambda - 1)](-1). We have performed Monte Carlo (MC) simulations of the SW fluid for lambda = 1.05, 1.02, and 1.01 at several densities and temperatures T* such that tau(T*,lambda) = 0.13, 0.2, and 0.5. The resulting cavity functions have been compared with MC data of SHS fluids obtained by Miller and Frenkel[J. Phys.: Condens. Matter 16, S4901 (2004)]. Although, at given values of eta and tau, some local discrepancies between y(SW) and y(SHS) exist (especially for lambda = 1.05), the SW data converge smoothly toward the SHS values as lambda-1 decreases. In fact, precursors of the singularities of y(SHS) at certain distances due to geometrical arrangements are clearly observed in y(SW). The approximate mapping y(SW)-->y(SHS) is exploited to estimate the internal energy and structure factor of the SW fluid from those of the SHS fluid. Taking for y(SHS) the solution of the Percus-Yevick equation as well as the rational-function approximation, the radial distribution function g(r) of the SW fluid is theoretically estimated and a good agreement with our MC simulations is found. Finally, a similar study is carried out for short-range SW fluid mixtures.  相似文献
