A delayed coincidence method, time-interval analysis (TIA), has been applied to successive – decay events on the millisecond time-scale. Such decay events are part of the 220Rn216Po (T1/2 145 ms) (Th-series) and 219Rn215Po (T1/2 1.78 ms) (Ac-series). By using TIA in addition to measurement of 226Ra (U-series) from -spectrometry by liquid scintillation counting (LSC), two natural decay series could be identified and separated. The TIA detection efficiency was improved by using the pulse-shape discrimination technique (PSD) to reject -pulses, by solvent extraction of Ra combined with simple chemical separation, and by purging the scintillation solution with dry N2 gas. The U- and Th-series together with the Ac-series were determined, respectively, from alpha spectra and TIA carried out immediately after Ra-extraction. Using the 221Fr217At (T1/2 32.3 ms) decay process as a tracer, overall yields were estimated from application of TIA to the 225Ra (Np-decay series) at the time of maximum growth. The present method has proven useful for simultaneous determination of three radioactive decay series in environmental samples. 相似文献

A BSO spatial light modulator (BSO-SLM) was operated applying ac voltage. The basic properties of the operation correspond to those in a usual lock-in detector and a 2-dimensional lock-in detector array (2D-LOCKIN) was implemented by the optical modulator. The properties of the 2D-LOCK-IN using a BSO-SLM were investigated theoretically and experimentally. As an application of the 2D-LOCK-IN, oscillating amplitude were observed on simple vibrating objects. 相似文献

Relocation of a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored protein acetylcholinesterase (AChE) in its enzymatically active form from proteovesicles containing human erythrocyte ghost membrane proteins onto a liposome-gel conjugate was examined. Liposomes of 1,2-dimyristoylphosphatidylcholine (DMPC) were immobilized on Sephacryl S-1000 gel that was chemically modified to bear hydrophobic octyl moieties. Upon coincubation of the liposome-gel conjugate with freely suspended proteovesicles prepared from erythrocyte ghosts, 50% of the AChE left the proteovesicles and immobilized onto the liposome-gel conjugate in 18 h. When the proteovesicles were immobilized and interacted with freely suspended plain liposomes, approximately 2% of the AChE appeared in the liposome fraction. The relocation of AChE apparently possesses strong preference for the liposome-gel conjugate, suggesting that the hydrophobic moieties on the gel could assist the relocation. 相似文献

The effective dielectric constant ∈eff of a medium containing randomly distributed dielectric particles has been analysed by conventional methods: Foldy's approximation, the quasi-crystalline approximation (QCA) and the QCA with coherent potential. These conventional methods, however, have been indicated to become invalid for particles with a high dielectric constant; we have thus presented a new method that is valid for them. This paper compares ∈eff of our method with those of the conventional methods by changing the volume fraction and the dielectric constant of spheres. As a result, our method is shown to be more powerful for the analysis of ∈eff than the conventional methods. 相似文献

The dissociative excitation reaction of BrCN induced by the products of the electron cyclotron resonance (ECR) plasma flow of He was studied based on the electrostatic-probe measurements and on the optical emission spectra of the B2Σ+ − X2Σ+ transition of CN radicals. The partial pressures of He and BrCN were 3 and 1 mTorr, respectively, and the partial pressure of H2O, PH2O, was in the range of 0.0–0.6 mTorr. The electron density, ne, showed a negative dependence on PH2O as (2.63 ± 0.13) × 1012 − (0.23 ± 0.10) × 1012 m−3, and the electron temperature, Te, a positive dependence, (2.38 ± 0.36) − (4.51 ± 0.15) eV. The CN(B2Σ+ − X2Σ+) emission intensity showed a negative dependence on PH2O. Based on a kinetic analysis of these PH2O dependencies, the decomposition of BrCN does not proceed via electron impact; instead, decomposition proceeds via the processes involving He+ and/or He metastable atoms. 相似文献

The alkaline treatment of the pyridinium salts, readily available from the S-alkylations of 3-amino-4-(1-pyridinio)thiophene-5-thiolates with various alkyl halides, in chloroform at room temperature afforded the corresponding thieno[3',4':4,5]imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine derivatives in low to moderate yields via the intramolecular cyclization of the resulting 1,5-dipoles followed by the aromatization of the primary cycloadducts. Interestingly, the reactions using unsymmetrical 3-amino-4-[1-(3-methylpyridinio)]thiophene-5-thiolates afforded only 8-methylthieno[3',4':4,5]imidazo[1,2-a]pyridines and the other 6-methyl derivatives were not formed at all. In addition the isolation of a byproduct in the condensation reaction of pyridinium salt with the solvent (CHCl?) is also discussed. 相似文献

The large real-time hologram device made by the previous Bi12SiO20 single crystal wafer cutting method poses several problems such as a large residue of material hinders the practical use. A study was carried out to fabricate a real-time hologram device using inexpensive laterally cut circular (1 0 0) Bi12SiO20 single crystal wafers which would be suitable for practical use for 3-dimensional display. An angle incident on a (1 0 0) wafer is applicable to the real-time hologram. An optimal electrode design for a device with uniform diffraction efficiency was considered, and the device properties were experimentally investigated. 相似文献
