The twoscale asymptotic error analysis for piezoelectric problems in the quasi-periodic structure

Applications for piezoelectric efect have grown rapidly,and piezoelectric materials play important roles in countless areas of modern life.By means of twoscale method and coupled boundary layer,some new kinds of twoscale asymptotic expansions for solutions to the electrical potential and the displacement in quasi-periodic structure under coupled piezoelectric efect are derived,and the homogenization constants of piezoelectric materials are presented.The coupled twoscale relation between the electrical potential and the displacement is set up,and some improved asymptotic error estimates are analyzed.     

Effective properties of coated fibrous piezoelectric composites with spring-type interfaces under anti-plane mechanical and in-plane electrical loads

In this paper, we investigate the effective properties of three-phase(matrix/coating/fiber) cylindrical piezoelectric composites with imperfect interfaces under anti-plane mechanical and in-plane electrical loads. By using the electromechanically coupling spring-type interface model and the generalized self-consistent method(GSM), we analytically derived the effective electroelastic moduli. The present solutions include as special cases the three-phase cylindrical piezoelectric composites with perfect interfaces as well as the two-phase(matrix/fiber) case with imperfect or perfect interfaces. Selected calculations are graphically shown to demonstrate dependence of the effective moduli on the interfacial properties. The particular size-dependent characteristic due to the interfacial imperfection is also discussed.

Relative n-widths of periodic convolution classes with NCVD-kernel and B-kernel

In this paper,we consider the relative n-widths of two kinds of periodic convolution classes,Kp(K) and Bp(G),whose convolution kernels are NCVD-kernel K and B-kernel G. The asymptotic estimations of Kn(Kp(K),Kp(K))q and Kn(Bp(G),Bp(G))q are obtained for p=1 and ∞,1≤ q≤∞.     

Best constants of harmonic approximation of some convolution classes associated with Laplace operator in d-variables

In this paper,we consider the best EFET(entire functions of the exponential type) approximations of some convolution classes associated with Laplace operator on R d and obtain exact constants in the spaces L1(R2) and L2(Rd).Moreover,the best constants of trigonometric approximations of their analogies on Td are also gained.
