In the present work, the nucleation and growth mechanism for the electropolymerization of aniline in propylene carbonate medium
containing 0.06 M trifluoroacetic acid and 0.05 M lithium perchlorate was investigated at different potentials on highly oriented
pyrolytic graphite (HOPG) by potentiostatic current-time transients (i-t) and atomic force microscopic (AFM) measurements. The electrochemical data fitted with the theoretical curves for nucleation
and growth suggest that the electropolymerization of aniline consists of progressive nucleation followed by 3D growth at an
early stage and layer-by-layer growth in subsequent periods. The results obtained from transient analysis were in good agreement
with the results of the AFM analysis. In our previous studies with aqueous solutions, we observed only progressive nucleation
followed by a 3D growth mechanism for the electropolymerization of aniline in a higher potential range, 1.5–2.0 V vs. Ag/AgCl.
Hence, the results obtained from the present work indicate that the nucleation and growth mechanism depends on the medium. 相似文献

ABSTRACTBy incorporating double-ring cavities and a piece of un-pumped Er3+-doped fiber (EDF) as a saturable absorber, we report a single-longitude-mode EDF fiber laser at C-band. The single-longitude-mode is obtained, the first time, by inserting only two subring cavities in either serial connection or parallel connection. The fiber laser has an optical signal-to-noise-ratio of 34.5 dB and a maximum power fluctuation of less than 1.3% for 1-hr operation. It was then modulated up to 10 Gbit/s by using an electro-optic modulator for eye diagrams, compared to back-to-back transmission. Such a compact and low-cost fiber laser is potential for high-speed optical communication. 相似文献

Influences from different fields of mesons on the pseudospin symmetry are investigated for deformed nuclei. The energy splitting
between pseudospin partners are extracted from the relativistic mean field calculations. The results show that the σ-field contribution to the pseudospin energy splitting has nearly the same magnitude as the one obtained by the ω-field, but with opposite signs. The pseudospin energy splittings either for neutron or for protons are almost the same if
the σ-field (V
σ
) and the ω-field (V
ω
) change at the same scale. The pseudospin energy splitting depends in the same way as the nucleus binding energy of the cancellation
of these two potentials, and is controlled by the same nuclear physics scale as the potential sum V
ω
+ V
σ
