Impact of photogenerated charge behaviors on luminescence of Eu3+-incorporated microporous titanosilicate ETS-10

A series of Eu³⁺-incorporated ETS-10 samples were successfully prepared based on the traditional ion exchange method. The relationship between photogenerated charge behaviors and luminescent properties has been investigated in detail. It has been demonstrated that as a result of the charge transfer from the titanate quantum wires to Eu³⁺ crystal field states, the host matrix ETS-10 functions as the sensitizer of Eu³⁺ to enhance the red luminescence, while Eu³⁺ cations contribute to the recombination of photogenerated charges. The behavior of photogenerated charges has significant impact on the luminescent properties of Eu³⁺-incorporated ETS-10 materials.

Spectroscopic studies of a BINAM-based sensor: Highly selective fluorescent recognition of lysine in water solution through a nucleophilic substitution reaction

A BINAM-based compound (R)-1 is found to show significant fluorescence enhancement in the presence of Lys in aqueous solution (1%DMF). This probe achieves highly selective fluorescent recognition of Lys even in the presence of other natural amino acids. It can be used as a sensitive as well as selective fluorescent probe for Lys. The mechanism for the interaction of (R)-1 with Lys was studied by NMR and HRMS.

介绍了在ＣＦＢＲ－Ⅱ脉冲堆上进行的￣３Ｈｅ─Ａｒ─Ｘｅ体系的激光演示实验。当热中子注量率６×１０￣（１４）／ｃｍ￣２·ｓ，气体组配￣３Ｈｅ：Ａｒ：Ｘｅ＝３４．７：３４．７：０．２６７（ｋＰａ）时，获得波长λ＝１．７３μｍ、脉宽（ＦＷＨＭ）平均值７３８μｓ、峰值功率为毫瓦级的激光输出。同时对测得的光信号及其特性进行了分析。     

An SDP randomized approximation algorithm for max hypergraph cut with limited unbalance

We consider the design of semidefinite programming(SDP) based approximation algorithm for the problem Max Hypergraph Cut with Limited Unbalance(MHC-LU): Find a partition of the vertices of a weighted hypergraph H =(V, E) into two subsets V1, V2 with ‖V2|- |V1‖ u for some given u and maximizing the total weight of the edges meeting both V1 and V2. The problem MHC-LU generalizes several other combinatorial optimization problems including Max Cut, Max Cut with Limited Unbalance(MC-LU), Max Set Splitting,Max Ek-Set Splitting and Max Hypergraph Bisection. By generalizing several earlier ideas, we present an SDP randomized approximation algorithm for MHC-LU with guaranteed worst-case performance ratios for various unbalance parameters τ = u/|V|. We also give the worst-case performance ratio of the SDP-algorithm for approximating MHC-LU regardless of the value of τ. Our strengthened SDP relaxation and rounding method improve a result of Ageev and Sviridenko(2000) on Max Hypergraph Bisection(MHC-LU with u = 0), and results of Andersson and Engebretsen(1999), Gaur and Krishnamurti(2001) and Zhang et al.(2004) on Max Set Splitting(MHC-LU with u = |V|). Furthermore, our new formula for the performance ratio by a tighter analysis compared with that in Galbiati and Maffioli(2007) is responsible for the improvement of a result of Galbiati and Maffioli(2007) on MC-LU for some range of τ.
