The standard model on non-commutative space-time   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
We consider the standard model on a non-commutative space and expand the action in the non-commutativity parameter . No new particles are introduced; the structure group is . We derive the leading order action. At zeroth order the action coincides with the ordinary standard model. At leading order in we find new vertices which are absent in the standard model on commutative space-time. The most striking features are couplings between quarks, gluons and electroweak bosons and many new vertices in the charged and neutral currents. We find that parity is violated in non-commutative QCD. The Higgs mechanism can be applied. QED is not deformed in the minimal version of the NCSM to the order considered. The dynamical algebra of theq-deformed harmonic oscillator is constructed. As a result, we find the free deformed Hamiltonian as well as the Hamiltonian of the deformed oscillator as a complicated, momentum dependent interaction Hamiltonian in terms of the usual canonical variables. Furthermore we construct a welldefined algebraSU q(1,1) with consistent conjugation properties and comultiplication. We obtain non lowest weight representations of this algebra.  相似文献

We derive a q-deformed version of the Lorentz algebra by deforming the algebraSL(2,C). The method is based on linear representations of the algebra on the complex quantum spinor space. We find that the generators usually identified withSL q(2,C) generateSU q (2) only. Four additional generators are added which generate Lorentz boosts. The full algebra of all seven generators and their coproduct is presented. We show that in the limitq→1 the generators are those of the classical Lorentz algebra plus an additionalU(1). Thus we have a deformation ofSL(2,CU(1).  相似文献

A general formalism is developed, that allows the construction of field theory on quantum spaces which are deformations of ordinary spacetime. The symmetry group of spacetime is replaced by a quantum group. This formalism is demonstrated for the -deformed Poincaré algebra and its quantum space. The algebraic setting is mapped to the algebra of functions of commuting variables with a suitable -product. Fields are elements of this function algebra. As an example, the Klein-Gordon equation is defined and derived from an action.  相似文献

This study of gauge field theories on -deformed Minkowski spacetime extends previous work on field theories on this example of a non-commutative spacetime. We construct deformed gauge theories for arbitrary compact Lie groups using the concept of enveloping algebra-valued gauge transformations and the Seiberg-Witten formalism. Derivative-valued gauge fields lead to field strength tensors as the sum of curvature- and torsion-like terms. We construct the Lagrangians explicitly to first order in the deformation parameter. This is the first example of a gauge theory that possesses a deformed Lorentz covariance.Received: 17 December 2003, Revised: 6 May 2004, Published online: 23 June 2004  相似文献

A q-deformed two-dimensional phase space is studied as a model for a noncommutative phase space. A lattice structure arises that can be interpreted as a spontaneous breaking of a continuous symmetry. The eigenfunctions of a Hamiltonian that lives on such a lattice are derived as wavefunctions in ordinaryx-space.  相似文献

A geometrical interpretation of supergravity is given in terms of the differential geometry of superspace. Starting from a general affine superspace, the geometry is specified in such a way as to contain as a special case the superspace of a global supersymmetry. Covariant equations are given which are equivalent to those of supergravity in four-space. The question of finding a suitable Lagrangian is discussed.  相似文献
