Influences of oxygen exposure on the magnetic properties of Co/Ge(1 1 1) ultrathin films have been investigated by surface magneto-optic Kerr effect technique. As the oxygen exposure increases on Co/Ge(1 1 1) films, their magnetic properties could be modified. As an example for 15 ML Co/Ge(1 1 1) films, the coercivity increases from 730 to 920 Oe and the remanence Kerr intensity is reduced for 500 Langmuir (L) of oxygen exposure. Corresponding compositions analyzed by Auger electron spectroscopy measurement shows that the amount of oxygen on the surface layers increases with increasing the oxygen exposure time. Oxygen distributes on the topmost layers of the film. The adsorbed oxygen influences the electronic density of states of Co and results in the changes of the magnetic properties. Besides, the appearance of O/Co/Ge interface could modify the stress anisotropy, and as a result the coercivity of ultrathin Co/Ge(1 1 1) film is enhanced. 相似文献

An analysis of the effects of combined evaporation and quench periods on the formation of asymmetric membranes by the phase inversion technique is presented. The model for the evaporation period assumes binary diffusion and includes composition dependence in the mutual diffusion coefficient and free convection mass transfer in the gas phase. The quench period model includes the use of 4 composition-dependent diffusion coefficients and incorporates a modified from of the interface jump mass balance which enables efficient numerical analysis of composition gradients in the film at the beginning of the quench period. Results for the effects of evaporation-period variable, including: evaporation time, initial cast film thickness, casting surface dimension, and vapor-phase composition, clearly indicate that significant effects of the evaporation period on membrane structure formation and its reproducibility occur within 20 seconds. 相似文献

Oxidative addition of 2 molecules of 3,3-dimethylcyclopropene (I) to α,α′-bipyridyl(1,5-cyclooctadiene)nickel(0) (III) gave the title compound (IV) in over 90% yield. Nocardicin A analogues 30, 34 , and 38 as well as the highly strained quinone methide 43 were synthesized. β -Lactam 34 was found biologically active against several Gram-negative microorganisms in vitro; pyridinium N-oxide derivative 38 possessed activity against Gram-positive S. aureus bacterium. Masked p-quinone methide β -lactam 43 exhibited significant antimicrobial activity in vitro. 3,3′,5,5′-Tetra-tert-butyl-2′-sulfanyl[1,1′-biphenyl]-2-ol (H2[tBu4OS]) was prepared in 24 % yield overall from the analogous biphenol using standard techniques. Addition of H2[tBu4OS] to Mo(NAr)(CHCMe2Ph)(2,5-dimethylpyrrolide)2 led to formation of Mo(NAr)(CHCMe2Ph)[tBu4OS], which was trapped with PMe3 to give Mo(NAr)(CHCMe2Ph)[tBu4OS](PMe3) ( 1 (PMe3)). An X-ray crystallographic study of 1 (PMe3) revealed that two structurally distinct square pyramidal molecules are present in which the alkylidene ligand occupies the apical position in each. Both 1 (PMe3)A and 1 (PMe3)B are disordered. Mo(NAd)(CHCMe2Ph)(tBu4OS)(PMe3) ( 2 (PMe3); Ad=1-adamantyl) and W(NAr)(CHCMe2Ph)(tBu4OS)(PMe3) ( 3 (PMe3)) were prepared using analogous approaches. 1 (PMe3) reacts with ethylene (1 atm) in benzene within 45 minutes to give an ethylene complex Mo(NAr)(tBu4OS)(C2H4) ( 4 ) that is isolable and relatively stable toward loss of ethylene below 60 °C. An X-ray study shows that the bond distances and angles for the ethylene ligand in 4 are like those found for bisalkoxide ethylene complexes of the same general type. Complex 1 (PMe3) in the presence of one equivalent of B(C6F5)3 catalyzes the homocoupling of 1-decene, allyltrimethylsilane, and allylboronic acid pinacol ester at ambient temperature. 1 (PMe3), 2 (PMe3), and 3 (PMe3) all catalyze the ROMP of rac-endo,exo-5,6-dicarbomethoxynorbornene (rac-DCMNBE) in the presence of B(C6F5)3, but the polyDCMNBE that is formed has a random structure. 相似文献

This study investigates ultra-thin potassium chloride (KCl) films on the Si(1 0 0)-2 × 1 surfaces at near room temperature. The atomic structure and growth mode of this ionic solid film on the covalent bonded semiconductor surface is examined by synchrotron radiation core level photoemission, scanning tunneling microscopy and ab initio calculations. The Si 2p, K 3p and Cl 2p core level spectra together indicate that adsorbed KCl molecules at submonolayer coverage partially dissociate and that KCl overlayers above one monolayer (ML) have similar features in the valance band density of states as those of the bulk KCl crystal. STM results reveal a novel c(4 × 4) structure at 1 ML coverage. Ab initio calculations show that a model that comprises a periodic pyramidal geometry is consistent with experimental results. 相似文献

Silica gel-supported ceric ammonium nitrate (CAN-SiO2) was found effective for rapid and selective cleavage of trityl (Tr), monomethoxytrityl (MMTr), and dimethoxytrityl (DMTr) groups from protected nucleosides and nucleotides under mild conditions. Efficiency of deprotections depended upon the stability of the resultant carbocationic species: DMTr+ > MMTr+ > Tr+. Use of a catalytic amount of this solid-supported reagent can also efficiently and selectively remove the tert-butyldimethylsilyl or the triisopropylsilyl group from a primary hydroxyl functionality in di- or trisilyl ethers of ribonucleosides. A comparative study of deprotection reactions by utilization of CAN alone or CAN-SiO2 indicates a remarkable increase in the rate of the reactions involving a solid support. The mechanism of electron-transfer processes is proposed for the use of CAN-SiO2 in the removal of these protective groups from organic molecules. 相似文献
